"Easy to Use but System Crashing Issues"
5/5
What do you like best about Act!?

I find Act! easy to use, which helps in keeping information organized. I particularly value the calendar for follow-ups because it helps me keep track of tasks without having to remember them all. Also, I didn't have to do anything for the initial setup as the support team set up everything remotely, which was very convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Act!?

It seems there is a bug and the system crashes when going back and forth between calendars and customer files. It gives a prompt that says please exit the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Leslie Reynolds of Act!

Thank you for your review, Taylor. We hope you'll reach out to our Support team at 866-873-2006 so we can address the issue you're experiencing when moving between calendars and customer files.

"Complex Email Marketing Capabilities but Outdated Interface"
2/5
What do you like best about Act!?

I like the complexity of the email marketing routes that Act! allows me to create. This feature enables me to target the segments in my audience very accurately and facilitates sending emails based on user behavior. Additionally, the integration with Outlook is beneficial as it stores email conversations with my contacts in Act!, allowing me to easily track when and what I've communicated with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Act!?

I dislike the outdated and complex interface of Act!. It is reminiscent of software from the 1990s, which makes it less user-friendly and requires modernization for a more intuitive experience. Additionally, setting up Act! is challenging, adding to the difficulty of using the software effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Leslie Reynolds of Act!

Thank you, Molly, for your feedback. We are happy to hear that Act! is helping you segment and target your customers via sophisticated email campaigns. We also appreciate your feedback on the user interface. We are excited about lots of UI and UX updates that are in the works and will be going live on an ongoing basis as we continually strive to improve our customers' user experience!

"ACT Sucks Working with Outlook"
0/5
What do you like best about Act!?

Nothing. We are stuck with you... for now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Act!?

We have used ACT so long, we are reluctant to jump at this point to another CRM. Our endless problem for years is that ACT will not stay integrated with Outlook and it fails weekly. Outlook tosses ACT out for being too slow. It has been a nightmare. Thousands of contact data points lost because ACT does not warn us when it goes offline...We have reset it a thousand times and someone in India tells us every damn year that "they are working on it." Customer Support is clueless. Whatever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Leslie Reynolds of Act!

We are sorry that you’re experiencing this problem. We understand it's frustrating and want to help. We hope you’ll give our Support team another try at 866-873-2006.

"As Great as Ever"
5/5
What do you like best about Act!?

ACT for years has been my go to client management and retention system. Years ago when I first started using ACT, it was incredibly solid as a way to manage a calendar, appointments and the most simple of correspondence. This version offers features that I didn't know I needed and makes the experience of using ACT again - the best choice for me and my organization. From the initial conversation with the Sales team to the live onboarding session and support, once again ACT continues to exceed my expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Act!?

There isn't anything I don't like about Act. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ACT as a CRM for marketing efforts"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Act!?

I have been using ACT for 21 years. It is a great program with tons of bells and whistles. We use ACT for our marketing team as well as for our own company marketing. We load databases into the ACT program to work with our marketing campaigns. Our team is able to create beautiful reports to send to clients. You have tons of features that you can use on the ACT program - depending on needs. ACT has alot of custom features that could be used for different services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Act!?

ACT is continually upgrading their software and requiring companies to update or lose their support. The upgrade process is a strain on businesses who are satisfied with the product as is. ACT is also lacking in the latest and great features like build in phone as well as email integration with webmail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Leslie Reynolds of Act!

Thank you for taking the time to share that Act! is making your workday a little easier, especially with managing your marketing campaigns and keeping track of your appointments and tasks. We love hearing from our customers, so thanks again for sharing - this made our day!

"Flexible, Customizable Database for Contacts and Notes"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Act!?

It doesn't lock you into a structure. It can be easily customized to fit your industry and it has one database for me to keep my contacts and notations. It is also very cost effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Act!?

Requires more steps than I would like to get to accomplish my goal. It can be a bit out-dated and it does have a very limited AI platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Leslie Reynolds of Act!

We appreciate your review, letting us know that Act! manages all of your customer and networking information in one place, and you can easily customize it to your specific industry needs. And stay tuned for more exciting AI functionality coming soon!

"Too many changes"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Act!?

Act has always been a great database for keeping track of clients and prospects as well as scheduling meetings, calls and activities. It was easy to customize and very reliable. It was clean and easy to access the calendar check the daily calendar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Act!?

Recent changes have made Act! unreliable and more difficult to use. Menus have been changed and procedures have become more complicated. The worst part is that it is unreliable. The monthly calendar often displays evening meetings on the next day’s schedule, forcing users to use a different view of the calendar to get accurate information. It worked the way it was, so why all the changes? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Leslie Reynolds of Act!

Thank you for your review, Sharon. We appreciate your feedback and want to let you know that we are committed to bringing a modern, elegant, and user-friendly design to our applications to optimize performance and efficiencies for our customers.
