**What do you like best about Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud?**

Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud is what we use for Cloud backup of key desktops, laptop, servers and Office 365 Cloud services.

We have tested restoration and it is very easy to perform, which makes backup validation much easier.

We get to create the encryption key, which keeps the data safe, even from Acronis.

We started using some of the other services offered as part of Cyber Protect, like Perception Point Email Filter, which outperformed it's competitors.

We use their Wizer Cybersecurity Training which is easy to manage.

Support is quick, and they are always willing to have an engineer walk us through new products or learn how to best use existing ones.

It integrates well with HaloPSA for alerts.

**What do you dislike about Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud?**

My techs will often talk about the portal. It's not as intuitive as you might think it would be. Because sometimes we use different companies' tools within it, the portal serves more as a launching pad into their other portal. So it's not as seamless as it could be. They could make the portal a little bit more user-friendly.

**What problems is Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud for cloud backups and easy restores, which is crucial for ransomware protection. It offers complete data security because I can manage encryption keys. With features like disaster recovery and email protection, Cybersecurity training it meets many of my client's Cyber Security needs.

What really set Acronis apart was its focus on compliance and integrated protection. Rather than specialising in just one aspect of MSP operations, it addresses many common compliance and security requirements within a single, cohesive platform.

**What do you dislike about Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud?**

There are a few bugs when loading certain pages or when creating new client tenants. Occasionally, the dashboard is slow or doesn’t load at all, and I have to refresh the page. It’s also not possible to keep multiple client tenants open in different tabs. For example, if we’re in the middle of working with one client and need to briefly switch to another, we lose our place across all tabs.

The platform had to be reliable, scalable, and comprehensive, offering a full range of MSP tools while still being manageable from a single pane of glass. Streamlining our internal operations was just as important as delivering strong outcomes for our clients.

We have been using Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud for several years, and our experience has been consistently positive. The platform is stable, easy to use, and provides a reliable all-in-one solution for backup and cybersecurity. Additionally, the Acronis team has always been highly supportive and responsive whenever needed. From a business perspective, the pricing is also competitive and well-suited for the Asian market, making it a strong overall value for our operations.
Our team is always looking possible ways to integrate into different solutions and lately there is a lot going on with DLP and AI functionalities, which will help to stay ahead of the latest threats

**What do you like best about Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud?**

I really like the model with unified tools, the ease of management over them, as well as the notifications/alerts generated. I miss better DLP functionalities in Brazil. I really like the backup tools of 365 and Google. The issue of inventory is very useful and opens doors for business.

**What do you dislike about Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud?**

I literally hate the operation of DLP in observation mode that blocks the use of applications, such as banks and some development tools. In the few clients I have set up here in Brazil, I observed little utility. The immutable storage being managed directly by Acronis became very rigid, where this month I had a situation where a technician mistakenly (used a configuration json from another client) generated a Google account backup of one client in another. Besides the aspect of privacy/confidentiality, which we couldn't address promptly because it gets stuck before deletion, it also generated unnecessary costs. I still need to report on the automatic insertion of devices into the standard plan, generating copies of them and then rework for removal, which, by the way, is quite difficult to discover. The report generated at the end of the period is not very user-friendly, and I usually put it into an AI to refine and bring only the items of interest.

I appreciate that the initial setup of Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud is relatively straightforward. I also like the management, which is great and is all handled through a single console with tabs relating to each section of the product.

**What do you dislike about Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud?**

Google Workspace backup is still unable to be configured to use OUs, and MS365 backup in a similar vein is an 'all-or-one at a time' approach, which can be uncomfortable to explain to end-users/customers. Google integration was not completed, and Disaster Recovery was originally poorly configured, but is much better now.

I use Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud for backing up servers, workstations, and cloud platforms. It solves the problem of administering and monitoring backup solutions for both on-prem and cloud-based data.

I use Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud for protecting my company's data in case of any disaster. I've found the user experience to be very good. The entire machine backup feature is amazing as it allows me to recover my lost system effortlessly. The product management console's UI is fabulous, making it easy to use, especially for someone with an IT background. I also appreciate the CDP feature in backups, which enables real-time backup similar to online documents, and the Active Protection feature in EDR, which effectively safeguards against ransomware by immediately rolling back any malicious encryption processes. The initial setup was smooth.

**What do you dislike about Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud?**

I feel that Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud's EDR needs more visibility and improvement. I've compared it with other EDR solutions and found that there's a lot more features and better control with competitors. I understand it has just entered the EDR world, but improving this would increase customer trust. For example, Acronis could benefit from features like HIPS in Kaspersky, where processes are categorized by trustworthiness, allowing for quick action against processes that behave unexpectedly.

The centralised management gives us strong visibility across client sites, and it supports and integrates with a wide range of the products our customers rely on, including Microsoft 365 and SQL Server. This coupled with ease of use makes this a great value offering to add to our service portfolio. Implementation to workloads are also easy and quick.

It isn’t always easy to tell which licenses will be applied, and in some cases a license ends up being assigned in a way that makes it very difficult to identify which workload it was applied to.

It helps that it provides a suite of products—especially off-site backups—that can be deployed quickly, all within a single deployment project. I really like how Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud is always developing at a fast pace. I've been a partner for over five years, and I can see they're evolving every day, month, and year. They aim to provide a complete solution with a single dashboard featuring all the functionalities you can ask for, like disaster recovery, file sync, security, monitoring, remote management, software management, and email security. I also appreciate that they provide many free features, like software and hardware inventory, monitoring plans, and the ability to do backups, all without any extra cost. Additionally, their granular licensing is great because I can pay for only what I've used, unlike other vendors where you'd have to pay a lot for just 10% usage.

**What do you dislike about Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud?**

Well, as I've said, they are evolving rapidly, especially in the last two, three years. And this comes with a cost, unfortunately. When they provide a new solution or new technology, for example, the M365 technology, you feel the technology is not 100% mature. So it needs a lot of UX/UI work. Some buttons are not at the right place, and some functions or features are not where they are expected. So I think they need to sort this out hopefully very soon.

Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud is an amazing tool for our organization. We also provide Acronis to our customers as both an on-prem and cloud backup solution. From a management standpoint, the UI is easy to use and the performance is second to none. Integrating this into our customers environments is extremely simple and easy to do which allow us to provide top notch support.

**What do you dislike about Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud?**

Certain items can be difficult to find on occasion due to changing user interfaces. It's not a major thing but easier to navigate menus would be nice.

**What problems is Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud has saved a few of our customers from catastrophic issues, whether that be a hardware failure on premises or a ransomware attack that required them to be restored from backup. It gives us and our customer peace of mind regarding their data.

It's the best platform for a backup solution for your server. 
It's just not a backup solution but also provides cyber protection, anti-malware, and anti-virus, and ransomware protection along with EDR.

**What do you dislike about Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud?**

The first backup takes a bit longer time to complete. 
Also,  the KB articles do not cover all the aspects. 

 For some of the common issues or queries need to rely on third-party KB articles.

Once the storage quota is full, it takes longer time to get refreshed.

The backup protection plugins comes  every now and then and sometimes get fail.

**Recommendations to others considering Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud:**

You have a critical data on your server consider securing it with Acronis.  Below are the factors why you should consider it as your backup solution:
*Set up is much easier 
*They have also plugins for best hosting panel such as cPanel and Plesk
*Can back up complete server, disk/volumes/files/folders or a specific path.  You can also back up your application data
*They have plugin for MSSQL database so that your database can also be backed up
*Personal data also can be backed up
*Seperate portal for management

**What problems is Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the Acronis as a backup solution for most of the time.

The backup of your cloud server is much easier with Acronis.  There are a variety of options you can backup your data such as a complete VM or disk, drive, and files/folders. 
Also for backing up SQL databases, they have different agents.  Set up is also easy.

The email backup is also an option. You can backup your Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 data.

I appreciate that Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud is a central platform for RMM and provides a robust backup platform. I find it to be a more complete solution and a more modern platform compared to AVG. Additionally, I like that the initial setup was easy, even though it was time-consuming.

**What do you dislike about Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud?**

The feature set is overwhelming sometimes, and we don't use all parts nor are we always aware of new ones. I wish we could set protection plans at the tenant level and have them apply to customer tenants without having to visit each one. The API documentation is incomplete, outdated, and calls often fail because their shapes change. This forces me to inspect web pages for network requests to understand the calls. Also, it's a bit more expensive, which affects uptake.

Setup is very easy and straightforward as well, since you typically only need to install a single agent. We use this as our primary day-to-day platform for protecting our clients and providing them with support.

For support, you can choose to go through your Distributor or work with Acronis directly. We’ve opted for the Acronis direct option. Their support team generally responds in a timely manner and follows up when issues or queries take longer to resolve.

Acronis Cyber Protect helps us keep things simple by making all of its modules available through a single interface, including cyber protection, endpoint protection, email protection, backups, and even Security Awareness Training. They also offer very effective online training for the different modules, which makes it easier for us to onboard new staff members and get them up to speed. Billing is another area where it saves us a lot of time, since we only have to deal with one provider instead of multiple providers with different billing schedules and methods.

I really like the EDR/XDR part with Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud. It is valuable to me because it allows identification and provides resolution advice. Securing workstations with the integrated antivirus is also an asset. Additionally, it is relatively easy to deploy on workstations and servers, especially for RMM or backup, and even for deployments on Microsoft 365.

It does not take into account network devices (NAS, switch, firewall, ...), need another tool.

It’s a single platform that covers complete cybersecurity, from server backup to email backup to Antivirus+EDR and more. A single agent handles all the work, which keeps everything simple and consistent.

Acronis provides email mailbox backup for MS-365 and GWS, but it doesn’t provide backup for Zimbra mailboxes, and I think that option should be included as well. Apart from that, Acronis should also offer backup support for CCTV NVR.

Acronis solves multiple problems for my business, from server backups to workstation backups. I also use it to back up my MS-365 email, and I’m using it for EDR as well.

I think Acronis should improve its DLP capabilities. I also don’t like how complex the pricing is, and I’d prefer a simpler, more straightforward pricing structure.
