I also appreciate the ability to maintain a .htaccess file and to be able to have server-side access. We moved from on-prem hosting to Acquia and Acquia's setup feels very familiar to the tailored setup we had on-prem. I've also never had an issue with uptime and now that we're in the cloud, we can deploy code without any service disruptions to end-users. **What do you dislike about Acquia Digital Experience Platform?** You need to maintain Acquia Purge better. There are 44 open issues and the module is essential for D7 sites in Acquia. Support requests are often very frustrating. I am clear about what I need and the documentation I have already read and far too often I am redirected to documentation that I mentioned I already read. It's maddening. I wish the online GUI wouldn't log me out so frequently. **Recommendations to others considering Acquia Digital Experience Platform:** I'd recommend first understanding all the requirements of your site and once you have your requirements in order, set up a demo and talk through all your requirements with them. Acquia was able to provide my team with a sandbox to test their platform before we signed on for hosting. The sandbox was very helpful in our decision making process. **What problems is Acquia Digital Experience Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Acquia Cloud provides a robust hosting solution with guaranteed uptime. When we hosted on-prem, code deployments would cause end-user service disruptions. We no longer have any service disruptions since moving to the cloud. In our workflow, we typically cannot allow for content moderation and need full site experiences, including all nodes and assets in a lower environment. This environment then needs a way to be promoted to production.
