From an HRIS standpoint, I like how our system automatically feeds new employee information and profiles are created in Acorn within 48 hours!
From a user perspective, it's nice to assign courses or surveys to employees, set up cohorts to complete certain tasks based on hire date, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The workflow design and momentum creation is quite convoluted. We were fortunate to have Jenny, our Implementation Specialist, walk us through how it works, listened to our needs, and translated our processes into Acorn's momentum workflow designs. After several iterations, and testing, we are now good with what we need!
The only other issue I saw at the time of testing our product is that if all required sections are not completed in a form, there's no error popup to notify the user what's missing - people are expected to scroll around to find the incomplete section. We were told there's no fix available to amend this, so this is one minor system limitation I would suggest looking into. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We love the fact that you were able to deploy quickly. There's nothing worse than a technology project that never sees the light of day. Also, we like how you're connecting learning and performance and then integrating that with your HRIS. Regarding Momentum, it's a great piece of feedback. The tool can do so much that it can take getting used to. We're bridging 'the ease of use with ability' in some upcoming releases. We're aiming to keep it powerful but make it easier to navigate. Acorn is a very user friendly, many different functions. If you are unsure on how something works, their How to guides are good to follow.

It was easy to set up virtual training in Acron. Users also easily signed up the system and understood how to track their learning. I like how Acorn allows you to create custom categories for tracking and reporting. The Acorn representatives were also very friendly and helpful in this process. I have made some suggestions for improvements to Acorn and I am finding that they are very much responsive to ways in which the LMS's features can be enhanced.
