In addition, they were extremely responsive to any questions by mail, or meeting requests, and were flexible and accomodating of our use. Use of the tool allowed us to overcome our challenge of extracting data from unstructured sources, where we otherwise faced a major block. Acodis Workbench has helped us to process complex, non-standard PDF documents and convert them into XML documents. That is, including meta information such as tags that were displayed as icons in the original document, but needed to be attached to different paragraphs in the XML output.
