**What do you like best about PeopleInsight?**

What sets People Insights apart is the partnership. Jon Allen and his team don’t just deliver dashboards, they take the time to deeply understand our business, our data, and our very specific people analytics needs. Our requirements are often complex, non-standard, and evolving, and the team consistently meets us there with thoughtful solutions instead of forcing us into a one-size-fits-all model.

They’re highly responsive, transparent, and genuinely invested in helping us get to better insights. Whether it’s custom metrics, lifecycle reporting, or iterating quickly based on feedback, the team brings strong expertise and a “let’s figure this out together” mindset. That level of flexibility and collaboration has made People Insights a true extension of our People Analytics team, not just a vendor.

Nothing at the moment. Everything with Jon Allen and his team has been wonderful.

PeopleInsight solves the problem of turning raw HR data into a clear, actionable story. Instead of scattering metrics across dashboards, it helps us connect the dots across the employee lifecycle and explain what’s happening, why it matters, and where to focus. That narrative layer is critical, especially when sharing insights with senior leaders who need clarity, not noise.

The benefit is better decision-making. We spend less time explaining the data and more time discussing implications, trends, and actions. PeopleInsight enables us to move from reactive reporting to proactive insights, align metrics to real business questions, and present people data in a way that drives informed conversations and next steps.

The team at People Insights strikes an ideal balance between execution and strategic thinking. They consistently deliver on our requests with efficiency, while also approaching each challenge with a thoughtful, problem-solving mindset. **What do you dislike about PeopleInsight?**

Like many API integrated tools there are data differences depending on when the latest integration was updated. Additionally the lack of visibility to the hardcoding required for data that is currently being stored in spreadsheets.

**What problems is PeopleInsight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

People Insights is able to tie our Recruiting data with our HRIS data and allow us to use custom logic to create custom visualizations that the business requires but may otherwise not be possible to extract within a system.  We have also been able to make very simple visuals for data that is otherwise very granular and not available outside of the API.

**What do you like best about PeopleInsight?**

System is easy to use with a variety of options custom built for our organization's needs.  We are able to pull turnover, termination and new hire reports and present them in a variety of manners (spreadsheets, graphs, etc).  HRIS data is automatically fed to the system on a regular basis, based on our specifications.  The support team is friendly and prompt in their responses and are able to assist with any changes or additions needed.

**What do you dislike about PeopleInsight?**

System is not currently set up to pull data from other sources to further analyze turnover data.  Fields with a lot of different options can be slow to load when changes are made.

**What problems is PeopleInsight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PeopleInsight is aiding our company in determining turnover trends within the system as a whole and allows us to drill down to individual facilities and departments.  It streamlines the data from our HRIS system to allow us to focus on what trends are important in the given circumstance.

PeopleInsight has been an excellent data analytics tool for our organization. We are able to quickly extract and display for multiple levels of reporting key information in an organized and dynamic fashion. For the past 9 years I've utilized this site frequently and find that it is very user friendly and easy to navigate. Additionally, the PeopleInsight team is extremely responsive and efficient with putting through requests or answering questions that arise.

There is nothing I dislike about PeopleInsight.

PeopleInsight helps us to quickly and efficiently produce quality reporting reflecting detailed data that would otherwise need to be pulled and calculated manually. Prior to utilizing PeopleInsight this was a very complicated and time consuming process.

**What do you like best about PeopleInsight?**

Once the data feed to People Insight is established and your data is loaded, the navigation and user interface is very user friendly and intuitive, and the metrics and visuals that People Insight produces are easily produced and accessible, and the dashboards are very customizable.  Whenever we have needed analyst or technical support, the team at People Insight has been extremely attentive and  quick in their response.

**What do you dislike about PeopleInsight?**

For those who do not use People Insight frequently, how the user combines/displays visuals can end up looking too busy . How best to use People Insight to display your data is something that gets easier with use.

**What problems is PeopleInsight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a very large and complex organization, and certain data needs to be included or excluded depending on the audience, and we often need to get very granular in our analysis of specific job categories and demographics.  People Insight allows us to be very nuanced and focused in our calculations, with the ability to easily filter our data and update our analytics with just a few clicks of the mouse.

**What do you like best about PeopleInsight?**

PeopleInsight not only has out of the box reports, but their team is always available and up for the challenge of brainstorming new dashboards to fit our needs. The support is unparalleled - they will respond to, and resolve, simpler requests within hours, and a new dashboard requests are usually built within a few weeks (depending on how complicated the request is).

Before PeopleInsight, it would take us hours and hours of time to prepare monthly and quarterly report. Now with PeopleInsight we don't need to spend any time manually pulling reports as they are always ready for us to use. We only need to validate that our data is correct and then can spend more time preparing our talking points.

**What do you dislike about PeopleInsight?**

The overall look and feel of PeopleInsight is a bit more old school. The dashboards are limited to the size of the screen without the option to scroll, which can be limiting for how much information you can fit in each dashboard and have it still be legible. In an ideal world I'd be able to see more charts and graphs on one page by having the option to scroll, instead of needing to click through to different tabs.

- not a downside of people insights, but the product really illuminates the quality of your data.  So to make PI most effective, you have more success if the data in is QA'd and correct

Able to see our HR data in a format that is easier for us that Workday. We also like being about to create dashboards for our executives to have at their disposal.  We were able to address the questions of what our internal mobility trends were, we were able to look at turn over reasons in an easy format.  The span of control helped us better understand the reporting structure balance.

**What do you like best about PeopleInsight?**

Prior to implementing People Insight, data analytics were a manual, time consuming and difficult process that left much room for room for error.  People Insight has enabled us to pull large volumes of information quickly and accurately, leaving more time to delve deeper into the meanings behind the data so that we can help improve decision making.   Whenever we ask for something, be it a question about the data or something new we are looking to be able to report on, the staff at People insight are quick to respond, always pleasant, and very helpful.

**What do you dislike about PeopleInsight?**

If you weren't involved in the initial setup of the dashboards, understanding what data is included in the calculations and how the numbers are being calculated can be difficult. 

Also, not so much specifically a People Insight issue per se but anytime data is being imported from one system to be used in another, there are times where we notice something might be off with our numbers in People Insight and upon further review, it is caused by a change in process on our HRIS side. For example, we created a new code in our HRIS system that was to be used when entering an employee transfer that technically should be counted as turnover, but we forgot to inform People Insight and so those transactions were not being counted in turnover. Once we were able to identify the problem, People Insight responded and made the adjustment right away.

**What problems is PeopleInsight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use PeopleInsight mainly for Turnover reporting.  Turnover comes with a high price, be it the actual financial price of hiring and training new employees or the emotional price of low employee engagement and moral.  PeopleInsights data analytics helps us to identify problems and patterns and come up with retention strategies.

I find the attendance compliance report the most useful as workplace use this information when carrying out dedicated desk audits.

**What do you dislike about PeopleInsight?**

1. Intercom has to quite a lot of work tidying the raw data before uploading the data to the dashboard, its extremely time consuming.
2. Some of the reports are very limited.
3. The reports provided are not always useful.

People Insights collates a number of data points to generate several reports

Having most of the people data in one place

Its not user friendly, hard to navigate in terms of filtering multiple data points which were staggered over multiple tabs, not able to draw insights and tell a story thru data.

I assumed it could solve the basic problem with generating key HR insights that could indicate the attrition trends, Quality of Hire analysis etc. but I did not get the desired outcomes.

**What do you like best about PeopleInsight?**

PeopleInsight has allowed us, as a small HR team, to report on and visualize metrics that our critical to our function and our organization. The ability to view all of our HR data in one place (talent acquisition as well as workforce data and dashboards) has had a tremendous impact on our team's ability to share important information with the rest of the company, and puts us in an excellent position as we plan to scale our company in the near future. The PeopleInsight team has made that platform extremely simple and easy to use, and I can't say enough about the customer support (and particularly Jonathan Allen) and the speed and ease at which they've helped us create our dashboards, and continue to troubleshoot and work through any of the issues that come up on our end. 

As a small HR team we don't have the bandwidth (or expertise in an HR analytics focused role) to create and manage HR dashboards and visualizations on our own - outsourcing our analytics capabilities has been extremely successful for us, and I can't recommend PeopleInsight enough!

**What do you dislike about PeopleInsight?**

At this point, nothing I can say specifically that I haven't liked about PeopleInsight.

We have utilized PeopleInsights for nearly a decade to display reporting insights.  I appricate the ability to have critical and customized reports at my fingertips when i require.  Our ability to combine data from different sources to create valuable insights has been critical.

manual uploads but we are working through this.

Our analytics team easily sets up reports and dashboards for the TA team to ingest.

I wish it had an easy integration with Workday so our TA team can access the data directly from our ATS.

We use PeopleInsight for all of our TA data: offer accepts, offer declines, open reqs, source data, time to fill (just to name a few). This data is extremely helpful for our TA team in figuring out what's working, what's not working and how to tell the story.

**What do you like best about PeopleInsight?**

Our company implemented PeopleInsight in late 2018.  Within 3 months of starting conversations with the vendor, we had dozens of dashboard available for our users that compiled information from multiple source systems.  The PeopleInsight leadership in our weekly implementation meetings always provided us with experienced insight that resulted in clear, user friendly dashboard views in a way that our organization had never experienced before.

The team is incredibly responsive to all questions and requests for changes and have been key partners for over 5 years now.  I would highly recommend PeopleInsight to any organization who is looking to provide accessible and flexible insights on their associate populations, especially if the data is sitting in multiple legacy systems and is challenging to bring together.

**What do you dislike about PeopleInsight?**

Our organization has doubled in size twice since implementing the tool and we now have so much data that some of the views take a little longer to refresh.

**What problems is PeopleInsight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our initial challenge was getting the data from multiple source systems linked together to provide comprehensive reporting.  We also only had flat reports and no dashboards at all.  PeopleInsight quickly solved both of these issues and has continued to provide new views and integrations that allow our users to self-serve to answer business unit questions as well as providing detailed reports that can be used for additional ad-hoc analysis outside of the tool.

There are so many options for Workbook and Dashboard configuration to present our people and other variying metrics.

I wish I could make some of the minor edits on my end (i.e. colour changes, title changes).  This would aleviate some of the back and forth woth the team, leting them work on more complex matters.

People Insights values its client partnerships and the team is responsive to our needs. Their customizable dashboards and reports have evolved as our needs have. The insights they provide have improved our data-driven decisions and have allowed us to see parts of our business we previously didn't have sight into. We can gain access to up-to-date data in only a few clicks.

Sometimes the legends and views of our dashboards can be cut off from the constraints of the dashboard setting.

Ease of access to data in the way we need to be able to tell the story. Also how flexible and malleable the tool is in being able to get the data we need (and the way we need to be presented).

Would be great if there was a cost-of-hire analysis piece. Reflecting on the integration piece, it took a while for us to understand and figure out the system. We felt lost for the first 3 months. Some kind of training to help us understand the platform would have been helpful. Though, Jon was amazing and patient and brought us along.

When you move between tabs (ex: from summary dashboard to applicant funnel) you lose the filters and have to reapply them. 
Also, sometime takes too long to load.
