## About Mortar
Mortar is the most complete POS-Shopify integration for brick-and-mortar retailers. It connects Lightspeed R-Series, Lightspeed X-Series (Vend), and Heartland Retail to Shopify, keeping inventory, orders, products, and customer records in sync in real time across your physical stores and your online store. Mortar is built by Accumula, a company that has been building retail integrations since 2013. WHAT MORTAR SYNCS - Inventory: Every sale, return, and inventory adjustment in your POS updates Shopify in real time, and vice versa. Supports multiple store locations. - Orders: Online orders placed on Shopify are sent to your POS. In-store sales update Shopify inventory automatically. - Products: Add or update products in your POS and they sync to Shopify. Manage your catalog in one place. - Customers: Customer records stay consistent between your POS and Shopify, including purchase history. - Refunds, exchanges, and order edits: When a customer returns something at your register, Shopify updates. When an order is edited after the fact, it flows through. Most integrations don&#39;t support this. HOW MORTAR COMPARES vs. the native Lightspeed-Shopify integration: The native integration syncs inventory and basic product data, but it doesn&#39;t support refunds processed in Lightspeed updating Shopify, exchanges, or order edits. It also requires manual product matching in many cases. Mortar handles all of these natively and uses automatic product linking — no manual SKU mapping required. vs. SKU IQ: SKU IQ is a competing integration that also connects Lightspeed and Shopify. The key difference is product linking: SKU IQ requires you to manually map products between systems. With Mortar, that process is automatic. Mortar also handles refunds, exchanges, and order edits; SKU IQ does not. HOW IT WORKS Setup typically takes less than an hour. **What do you like best about Mortar?**

The software has excellent customer support that is ready to help most of the users tackle all the problems they may encounter during the onboarding process. The platform has an amazing user interface that is friendly to most users making them easily navigate around it with ease as a low learning curve is required when operating the platform. The platform has a great integration with Shopify hence auto-updating of prices from Lightspeed to Shopify is awesome.

**What do you dislike about Mortar?**

I won't stop complimenting how the platform has great customer service as it has a great staff that is always ready and promptly to resolve any issues that the users may encounter hence enhancing great customer satisfaction.

**What problems is Mortar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform helps most of the sellers to keep their inventory quantities up to date and it helps them not oversell their products online. The software helps most of the users to simply have a great inventory integration from Lightspeed to Shopify. The platform helps to resolve the problem of time consumption on manual data entry and reconciliation of prices between both platform

**What do you like best about Mortar?**

The product performs precisely as described in its advertisements. The meticulous attention to detail and comprehensive documentation is truly remarkable. Additionally, the superior customer support greatly enhances the overall experience. The onboarding process for integrating and implementing the product was exceptionally smooth.
Before settling on Accumula, we had tried out several competitors. Looking back, our only regret is that we didn’t make the switch sooner

**What do you dislike about Mortar?**

We encountered minor issues with our store pickup orders, but the team promptly resolved them upon request early this year.

**What problems is Mortar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By utilizing Accumula, we prevent the risk of overselling products online. Additionally, it seamlessly integrates our online sales data into our brick-and-mortar daily reports, significantly reducing the time spent manually inputting sales and updating inventory quantities.

**What do you like best about Mortar?**

The product works exactly as advertised, the level of detail and documentation is incredible, the customer support is superior, and the onboarding for our integration and implementing it was a breeze. 

We have utilised some competitors before landing on Accumula, only regret was that we didn't make the switch sooner.

**What do you dislike about Mortar?**

We have been up and running with Accumula for around a month now and genuinely zero complaints at all.

Reestablished a connection between our POS system and Shopify, it's fast, accurate and very straightforward.

Software is great but the staff is the key to their success. Any issues have always been resolved promptly and fully.

I dislike the requirement to use 40 characters here because my answers is nothing.

Connecting our in-store POS with our Shopify website. Orders, products and even images sync smoothly.

**What do you like best about Mortar?**

- Onboarding; Savannah has been amazing in helping us get up & running. We have scheduled 2 45 minute meetings with her already to get fully configured initially and she has been extremely helpful and patient - this really has been a gamechanger as most other companies are great pre sale but then leave you alone, Accumula has really differentiated here and I believe this will be reflected in retention of customers!!
 
- User friendly platform = Easy to navigate 
- Integration with Shopify/Lightspeed seems to be great for auto updating prices to shopify from Lightspeed (& auto product creation)

**What do you dislike about Mortar?**

Only potential negative so far for us is specific in that we would like the feature to assign the same SKU in shopify to multiple variations but this isnt yet possible! I believe it is coming in the future

**What problems is Mortar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The business problem Accumula solves for us is two fold; 
1. Discrepancies between pricing records in Lightspeed and our Shopify (website). The fact that we have to manually update prices twice in both platforms mean we often face mismatches which we have to honour and thus even lose margins on products whilst frustrating customers 

2. Extreme amounts of time wasted on manual data entry and reconciliation of prices between both platforms. This wastes so much time as we have thousands of products

**What do you like best about Mortar?**

We are a chain of 11 stores whom went from Lightspeed webstore to shopify with accumula being the connector.
The whole process from onboarding to set up was faultless, Evan and the team were first class and Evan was extremely generous with his time, especially with the time difference from Seattle to Australia.
His honesty and their deliverance of what they promised was spot on - highly reccomend.

Nothing.
These guys were awesome all round.

Oversolds - they have a "flash sale" function which was amazing and helped our stores not have oversold product anymore - a big deal as it caused so many headaches with the older ecomm system - these guys nailed it.

There were some small hiccups regarding our store pickup orders but they were able to resolve those quickly.

We needed Accumula specifically to create a real time inventory sync between our brick & mortar point of sale and our e-commerce channel. There have been additional benefits including increased efficiency of our order fulfillment workflow.

**What do you like best about Mortar?**

I appreciate that Accumula saves me time and peace of mind, by updating inventory quantities in our brick and mortar store, and online. I no longer need to manually enter online sales into our POS - Accumula does it for us. It's easy to use. The onboarding team is responsive, helpful and eager to help you even with small problems. I'm so glad we're using this software!

**What do you dislike about Mortar?**

I wish there was a way to code Shopify Tips/Donations into Lightspeed. At the moment, it just shows as "No Product Found" in Lightspeed, which is the same message when a product on Shopify is not found in your Lightspeed store. Other than that, no complaints at this time!

**What problems is Mortar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem we're solving is keeping inventory quantities up to date. Using Accumula ensures that we won't oversell a product online, and also shows our online sales in our brick and mortar daily sales reports. It saves me a great many hours of manually inputting sales and updating inventory quantities.

I loved the service itself, but the support and onboarding with Savannah were excellent. Everything about the experience was great.

I think the documentation in Accumula can be a little better.

**What problems is Mortar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were trying to migrate and then sync inventories between Lightspeed Retail and Shopify. The benefits were the ease of use after it was all set up.
