It's not just a 'nice-to-have' add-on, but the core design of the platform, and it eliminates the single biggest pain point of running a global business by handling every step of consolidation automatically with a single click. I also appreciate AccountsIQ’s flexible, multi-dimensional global general ledger structure. It allows for both global financial standardization and regional customization, which is a huge improvement over the rigid and overcomplicated systems in other tools. Furthermore, the initial setup of AccountsIQ was surprisingly straightforward for a global multi-entity accounting platform. **What do you dislike about AccountsIQ?** I don't like that AccountsIQ has limited bulk AR actions. We can't bulk update payment terms, send reminder emails, or write off small bad debts for multiple customers/entities at once. Every action requires editing individual invoices/accounts, which adds over 5 hours of weekly admin work for our US E-commerce entity with hundreds of small AR accounts. **What problems is AccountsIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** AccountsIQ automates our multi-entity consolidation, resolving our biggest pain point, and cuts our finance team's time on this by 90%. AccountsIQ are in the perfect sweet spot for configurability, simplicity and affordability. **What do you dislike about AccountsIQ?** There seem to be about 4 different ways to login depending on if you want to watch a tutorial, log a ticket or access your data. Access to the API to create batch invoices is a bit expensive (should be free really). **What problems is AccountsIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** Cloud based so we don't have to look after a server. It has given us a lot more functionality than our previous non cloud system. Implementation was much faster than expected, we were ready to go live in 27 days and the support team has been fantastic, I've dealt with Dave mainly and he has always responsive and genuinely helpful. The new UI is more modern and intuitive. If you're looking for a cloud-based finance system that is more value for money, I highly recommend AccountsIQ! It has all the key features of core finance system without the massive bill of a an ERP. **What do you dislike about AccountsIQ?** It is missing some features of some of the bigger ERP systems, you need to integrate with other services for functions such as payroll or payments because AccountsIQ doesn't offer those services. ? That being said it does have a good API. **What problems is AccountsIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a renewable energy company managing multiple projects and entities, we needed a finance system that could handle complex consolidations, intercompany transactions, and reporting and AccountsIQ has been a game-changer. The multi-entity functionality allows us to seamlessly consolidate financials across different SPVs while maintaining detailed control over each entity. The ability to track costs, revenue, and funding sources separately for each project while still getting a high level group-wide view has saved me countless hours. The expansion via well built API's is a huge bonus here. As we scale, grow and want to build out utilising other soloutions, we are rerady to plug and play. The granular detail where required for those that want it (example our CFO), brilliant. For me, the customisable dashboards make my role equivalent to (CSO/CRO) super simple. I don’t want all the detail; I want the specifics relevant to my responsibilities for our group.
