Firms had been forced to choose between generic business software, poorly-designed software using outdated technologies, or proprietary designs by court reporting firms with little to no input from outside businesses utilizing the software. Since these court reporting firms often had little knowledge of proper software design principles, along with very limited time to devote to software support and upgrades, the non-customizable programs were quickly obsolete. ## Acclaim Solaria™ Reviews ### 1. Ex. separate payments by who entered the transaction. **What problems is Acclaim Solaria™ solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm not sure ### 2. It is easy to see them in a clear and concise manner as well. Billing has become so much easier as well. **What do you dislike about Acclaim Solaria™?** I would like to be able to add a job without a case name and just a deponent name. At times we don't have all of the info, but we work with certain deponents a lot that like working with certain reporters. Once paperwork has been sent, if there are any changes, it will not let you add the new paperwork in the unless you rename it completely, even if you deleted the old file. **Recommendations to others considering Acclaim Solaria™:** Make sure and take the training courses so you can learn to use it to work with you and your needs. **What problems is Acclaim Solaria™ solving and how is that benefiting you?** Billing and Calendar. It is an all in one system. I really like the convenience of that. Being able to create accurate invoices is a must for us, and this really makes it so much easier to make an accurate invoice since the pricing is built into the system.
