"Easy Admin HR Tool for Centralised Documents and Annual Leave"
4/5
What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?

Being able to store all documents as well as managing annual leave in one place. As an admin the system is easy to use and very quick to add a new employee. Compared to other software we have found Access PeopleHR very cost effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?

Some employee have found the app difficult to use, for example using the clocking in / out function. We have found the app doesn't always work well for I Phone users. Some employees wish to access all functions via the app, but some documents are difficult to view so a PC is then needed. When we have had issues support has always tried to help Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Powerful HR Hub That Streamlines Workflows and Reporting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?

What I like best about PeopleHR is how simple and intuitive it is to use, whilst still offering powerful functionality. It has become our central source of truth for employee data, giving managers and employees easy access to the information they need without relying on HR for every query. The automation of workflows, electronic document management (particularly the e-signature function) and seamless integration with Paycircle and the LMS have significantly reduced administration and duplicate data entry. It has freed up the HR team to focus on supporting the business strategically rather than spending time on manual processes. The reporting functionality also provides valuable insights, helping us make informed people decisions with confidence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?

Whilst PeopleHR meets the majority of our needs, there are a few areas that could be improved. The reporting functionality, whilst useful, can sometimes be restrictive when creating more complex or bespoke reports, requiring additional manipulation outside the system. Some workflows and customisation options could also offer greater flexibility to better accommodate unique business processes. Finally, although the system is intuitive overall, there are occasional areas where navigation could be more streamlined, reducing the number of clicks needed to complete common tasks. "Centralized Leave Tracking That Makes Planning and Approvals Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?

Access PeopleHR helps me solve a few key problems. It centralizes leave tracking, so I’m not chasing spreadsheets or emails just to figure out who’s off and when. Having a bird’s-eye view of the whole team’s leave calendar lets me plan workloads and coverage more accurately, and spot scheduling conflicts before they happen. It also reduces the back-and-forth that comes with manually approving and logging leave requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?

One area that could be improved is the UI/UX — some menus and workflows aren't as intuitive as they could be, which adds a slight learning curve for new users. I've also noticed occasional lag when loading reports or navigating between modules during busier periods. On the support side, response times for onboarding queries could be faster, especially when setting up more complex leave policies. None of these are dealbreakers, but addressing them would make day-to-day use smoother." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Difficult to Use with No Support"
0/5
What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?

Nothing positive to say - this is the worst HRIS I’ve ever used, and I’ve worked with some pretty bad ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?

I find Access PeopleHR creates more problems than it solves. The customer service is terrible, and the platform doesn't seem fit for purpose. There was zero training provided, which made it even harder to use. The org chart feature is the worst I've seen in years—it's unusable because you can't zoom in or out properly, and it's not interactive. The initial setup was difficult, which was frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Taryn Schutzler of Access PeopleHR

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, Marta. I’m really sorry to hear about your experience and the frustration this has caused. It’s particularly concerning to hear you felt unsupported during setup and training, as well as your experience with the org chart functionality and overall usability of the platform.

We understand how important it is for HR systems to simplify processes rather than add extra challenges, so your comments around customer service, onboarding and navigation are incredibly important for us to hear.

I’d genuinely like the opportunity to understand more about your experience and see how we can help. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at taryn.schutzler@theaccessgroup.com and I’ll make sure this is looked into further with the relevant teams.

"Brilliant all-in-one HR Platform!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?

I find Access PeopleHR brilliant for keeping records of staff documents. It is really useful for maintaining staff documentation and tracking sickness or holiday bookings. The system allows managers to easily access individual employees' holiday and planning details which helps them upload any training they've done and ensures they get the necessary signatures. I find it to be a really safe way to store important documents like right to work documents or DBS checks. Additionally, it is helpful for pulling information for tasks such as payroll, sickness, holiday, and annual leave. Overall, I really like these features. The logbook is an excellent way to keep on top of required training and qualifications. I think the flexibility of the HR Admin section with the queries is brilliant, I find it really easy to pull off any information and data about staff off in whatever format I need. I often have other members of senior staff requesting different kinds of Data and People HR makes it so simple to pull off whatever information is needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?

I think the organizational chart could be developed a bit further. It would be great if it could be pulled off as a PDF or printed out and be easily understandable. We often have multiple managers who need insight into different employees, so having the option to edit it to clearly show who their director or line manager is would be helpful.

I also often find glitches etc when it comes to viewing uploaded documents. It quite often comes up with a 'oops something went wrong when trying to view them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Taryn Schutzler of Access PeopleHR

Thanks for your detailed feedback, Georgia-Beth. It’s fantastic to hear how much value you’re getting from PeopleHR across document management, sickness and holiday tracking, payroll support and training records. It’s especially great to know features like Logbooks, HR Admin queries and reporting are helping you quickly access and share important staff data across the business.

We’re also really pleased to hear the platform is helping consolidate multiple HR processes into one secure, centralised system for your team.

We appreciate your feedback around the organisational chart and document viewing glitches. Those are really valuable insights, particularly around improving visibility for managers and making exported structures easier to use and share.

It’s fantastic to hear the platform is supporting your HR processes so effectively overall.

"Intuitive, Great Value HR Tool with Helpful Reporting and Easy Document Signing"
5/5
What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?

It's really easy to use - for me as administrator, and for the employees on the other side of the software. It's intuitive - I rarely have to look up how to do anything, and users are comfortable navigating around it.

The price is really reasonable for the functionality - especially for smaller businesses. The reports are helpful and allow at-a-glance assessment of where our people management is up to.

We especially like the document management and signing - it's really simple and new employees find it easy to use for their onboarding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?

I've used the system with previous businesses, and so was ready to buy and get on with using it, and they wanted to take the onboarding process a bit slower - but I fully appreciate that most people take longer with their buying decisions that I did this time (only because I have prior experience of the software). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Taryn Schutzler of Access PeopleHR

Thanks for your feedback, Atom. It’s fantastic to hear how intuitive and easy to use you’re finding PeopleHR, both from an administrator and employee perspective. It’s also great to know the platform is delivering strong value for money, particularly for smaller businesses.

We’re really pleased to hear the reporting tools, document management and digital signing are supporting your onboarding processes so effectively and making things straightforward for new starters.

We also appreciate your comments around the onboarding pace. It’s helpful feedback and great to hear your previous experience with the system gave you confidence in getting started quickly.

It’s brilliant to hear onboarding and document management are delivering such strong value for your team overall.

"Everything in One Tool - A Single Source of Truth That Eliminates HR Bottlenecks"
5/5
What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?

What I like best is how the platform acts as a centralized "single source of truth" for my entire employment history.

Instead of the usual administrative friction—like emailing HR to ask about holiday balances or searching through old folders for pay stubs—I have total autonomy through the self-service dashboard. The Absence Planner and the performance module have completely eliminated the "back-and-forth" emails I used to deal with. Being able to see my goals, tax documents, and real-time leave accruals in one professional interface saves me significant time and allows me to focus on my actual work rather than paperwork. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?

While the platform is very effective overall, the navigation and UI consistency can occasionally be a bit of a hurdle. I find that when the system undergoes updates, menu items sometimes shift or the layout changes slightly, which requires a bit of re-learning to find certain historical documents or specific settings. Additionally, the login process can be slightly clunky; the portal doesn't always remember my company-specific redirect, so I occasionally have to enter my credentials or work email twice to land on the correct dashboard. Streamlining these small navigation quirks and ensuring a more persistent login experience would make the daily user journey feel a bit more seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Taryn Schutzler of Access PeopleHR

Thanks for your detailed feedback, Nicola. It’s fantastic to hear how much value you’re getting from PeopleHR as a central “single source of truth” for HR information. Knowing that self-service features like the Absence Planner, performance tools and document access are helping eliminate back-and-forth admin and save valuable time is exactly what we aim for.

We also appreciate your thoughtful feedback around navigation consistency and the login experience. Insights like this are really valuable, especially around making the platform feel even more seamless and intuitive following updates.

It’s great to hear the system has helped remove HR bottlenecks and made everyday tasks significantly quicker and easier to manage.

"PeopleHR: Powerful Queries, Automated Workflows, and an Intuitive User Experience"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?

Very easy to work with. Queries are an incredible tool for getting work done, and once you master Ripples, they can help automate your workflow in some really impressive ways. Our managers handle onboarding and PeopleHR allows for the process to be simple, clear and streamlined. The digital assistant is very helpful and customer service from access is always readily available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?

Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a rota function. The Planner is great for booking holidays, but it doesn’t offer an option for rota scheduling. We’ve also had some issues when trying to integrate it with other rota systems. The authorisations can sometimes be quite basic, which may not support more complex workflow setups. "User-Friendly HR Platform with Responsive Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?

I like that Access PeopleHR is user-friendly, which makes it simple to find information. I love the chat tool that guides me when I'm unsure how to use something on the platform, and it helps me navigate and take advantage of all its features. It really saves time on admin tasks and makes reporting on different aspects of employee life easy. I also appreciate that every time there is an issue, the team resolves it quickly, and they take feedback seriously, improving the platform with each piece of feedback. The initial setup is easy too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?

I'm pretty happy with the system, but I wish there were more reports already created. There are some reports on the dashboard that I would like to customize, but I'm not able to adjust them to the data I need. I'd like more access to tailor these reports to what I need.
