What is Acceptiva for Nonprofits?

Acceptiva is a cloud based provider of secure online forms for any non profit need, whether payments, donations or RSVPs. All forms are hosted and customized, and can contain unlimited data fields and content. Acceptiva is a PCI DSS Level One Service Provider and payment gateway, integrated directly with TSYS, Stripe and Paypal. We have been a leading provider of non profit solutions for donations and payments since 2004 and we are located near Seattle, Washington.

"A Great Online Payment and Donation Option for any Non-Profit!"

What do you like best?

We have been using Acceptiva for our organization for the last 4 years. We especially like the many options available to create online templates for our various events during the year. Each form can be customized with graphics, colors, and customized data fields so you collect the pertinent details from each user. These forms offer a professional look and impactful to the look of the event.

Another solid aspect of Acceptiva is their customer service. Anytime you need assistance with online forms, accounting, transactions, etc., a simple phone call is answered in a matter of seconds by a knowledgeable support team that can provide instant solutions.

What do you dislike?

The only area where we feel like Acceptiva can improve is a more intuitive dashboard for administrators to manage and create their own events, content, and forms. Recently, they have made strides in this area with new updates, but we would like the ability to be able to create our own forms via the dashboard. At this time, new forms need to be submitted online and then are created by the Acceptiva team.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are a small to mid-size non-profit looking to create an online presence for donations or for event registration, take a good look at Acceptiva. Their reasonable monthly and transactions costs, strong customer service, and professional online forms are an asset for any organization!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

For our fundraising side, Acceptiva provides us a secure, online presence for our donors to submit gifts in a secure environment. The option to process various types of donations: one-time or recurring is a huge benefit. Also, the pricing structure for Acceptiva is very reasonable for a non-profit and allows us to process a larger percentage of each gift.

The dashboard reporting for both donations and event management provide us with detailed data that allow s us to manage our CMS systems for donors and provides information that is helpful in organizing and executing a successful event.

We also have several accounts set-up with Acceptiva at reasonable monthly/transaction costs that allow for funds to be distributed in to several bank accounts and make our accounting process more accurate.

"Customizable, yet clunky"

What do you like best?

Easy to view donations on the backend and manage multiple pages. Pages are somewhat customizable. Customer service is great and they make changes to your page quickly upon request.

What do you dislike?

Pages are not personally customizable. You have to submit requests to customer service for them to update. Pages are not very visually appealing. Users find it challenging to update their payments, but we’ve been able to help them make changes and Acceptiva customer support has been helpful too.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Recurring payments and ACH are helpful. Management of multiple of pages is easy and streamlined.

"Great platform and easy to use"

What do you like best?

Dashboard features are great. No hunting for information and easy to download data in CSV or excel format.

What do you dislike?

Dashboard is a little dated. Can be a little technical. Would be hard for a non-technical person to use.

Donation page and recurring charges.
