**What do you like best about Accelevents?**

The pricing was very affordable for our small non-profit association.  Setting up the platform was fairly easy as well.

**What do you dislike about Accelevents?**

In session, the lag time was frustrating.  When questions were asked of the presenter(s), it was a disconnect between asking and answering.  The backstage communication did not work the way we thought it was supposed to.  Messages would be sent between staff and not notified.  We ended up having to use text and TEAMS messages to communicate.  Sometimes getting responses from customer service took awhile. When you are in a session and need help asap, it wasn't forthcoming.  
If you didn't add a session to your agenda, then you were not able to take the session evaluation. We ended up having to compile the data from Accelevents and Survey Monkey to get out evaluation data.  Which was more than likely duplicate answers and therefore, not good data for us to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Accelevents:**

Things may have been updated since we used them, so I would recommend doing a demo of the platform.  The issues we experienced could have been resolved within the platform.

**What problems is Accelevents solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having the recordings being available immediately after the session ended was great for folks who missed the session to be able to go back and listen.  Ability to download attendee reports, and evaluation data, vendors ability to set up their own virtual booth.

While we understand the latency in the live sessions can cause potential confusion when getting questions in real time, we try to make this small delay as clear as possible up front to ensure all speakers understand how to make it work for them. The backstage chat should be easy to navigate, but each individual user has settings for notifications that they can enable or disable - that might have been where the disconnect came from. 

I am sorry to hear that our chat support took longer than expected. We pride ourselves on having an average first response time of under 45 seconds, so that's definitely not a typical experience on our platform and I will discuss with our team to ensure nothing slips through the cracks. 

Lastly, we do not offer surveys directly within our system - so if you were utilizing polls to gather feedback, it's true that they cannot be answered once the session is over, as they are more meant to gather real time feedback during sessions. We do, however, offer an integration with Zapier, which allows you to connect your Accelevents account with your Survey Monkey account and make the feedback gathering a more streamlined process.
