What do you like best about Acceldata?

Very useful in troubleshooting spark and hive issues and also proactively keeping the services/cluster healthy. The depth of insights in the queries points almost precisely where to fix the problem ( query tuning, JVM tuning, resource management, etc.). It's excellent for both the Operations and the Developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acceldata?

The tool has so many options ( which is great), but it can be overwhelming sometimes to look around while trying to stay on top of an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Acceldata brings all of the data points (Query, infrastructure, logging, alerting) in a cohesive manner at the same place making it easier to drill through and debug issues. This helped us bring multiple teams together for looking at the same problem through various facades and coming up with the best solution with multidimensional analysis.

What problems is Acceldata solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have multiple tech stacks that powers our whole platform Greenplum, Hadoop, MemSQL etc. For each tech stack we were capturing various metrics in independent monitoring tools. To do RCA for a particular issue we needed to stitch data from all these multiple sources to have an actionable insight. It was extremely time consuming leading us to take reactive measures rather than proactively handling problems. Multiple monitoring options also added to our administrative costs.
