I have gained extensive experience working with HDP, CDP, and ODP. In my rigorous evaluation, I have found that ODP, despite being a recent entrant into the market, possesses the capability to effectively compete with CDP, primarily due to its exceptional stability. The installation and upgrade processes are remarkably straightforward, enhancing the overall user-friendliness of the platform. The seamless integration of the monitoring tool Pulse with ODP provides comprehensive statistics of components and alerts, which I find to be remarkably impressive. Furthermore, the dedicated expertise and prompt support from the ODP team are notable strengths that I highly value. It is worth highlighting that we recently completed an upgrade of our operating system from RHEL 7 to RHEL 8 with minimal downtime and encountered no issues, thus demonstrating the robustness of ODP. Onboarding our data into Acceldata was very quick and simple. WIthin 24 hours all production data was loaded and trends were easily established. We were able to take immediate actions on inidcators and flags that we were unaware of and identify global trends that fueled strategy enhancements for our compute models. Acceldata has openned quite a few doors for us at Nestle. We have started with the Data Reliability features of the product and moved into the Cloud/Cost Optimization aspects. The Data Reliability aspects have been able to satisfy all of our traditional Data Quality requirements so far, with the additional benefit of measuring as data moves between multiple environments. We are starting to already see gains from the optimization engine in the short time that we have been using it. Acceldata does seem to have a Data Engineer in mind when they were designing their UI and not a non-technical Data Steward type of person. With that, you do have to train the user a bit more (especially if they are not technically focused) but it has not been anything we haven't been able to overcome. Acceldata - Pulse : A product meant for multi-dimensional platform observability is an unique offering to govern the vast on-prem landscape (which is still in high demand for several cyber security & cost aspects) for one of our large telco customers.
POV till implementation and demonstrate value in just few weeks. It's a great tool to leverage on day to day basis to enable zero touch operations, monitor data usage and performance tuning.
Equally, their customer success team is as good as their product to stay nimble and jump into action as needed.

Acceldata provides a ready to use data monitoring solution for Snowflake which doesn't require much setup to get started with. It also provides a wide range of metrics . It provides valuable visual insights of Snowflake's usage and trends, eliminating the requirement for in house development. Interpreting some visuals and charts can be a bit difficult due to their complex model. It becomes much complicated if you wanted to add a custom monitor beyond the ones they have already provided. There are still some inconsistencies between what you see in Acceldata and what's shown in Snowflake. Acceldata provides an "out of the box" environment monitoring solution for Snowflake with very little setup time and a varied selection of metrics that are monitored. Provided graphical representation of numerous aspects of Snowflake usage and trends without having to develop the insights internally. Some of the charts and data can be hard to understand as to what they are displaying. Outside of provided monitors, it seems very complex to add a "custom" monitor. No "role based" access to allow filtering of different views based on who is logging in. Still seems to be a "work in progress" with some discrepancies between our Snowflake environment numbers and the reported Acceldata numbers.
