"Absorb: Making Training Easier"
5/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

It’s a one-stop shop and user-friendly platform for our Resource Families who need training for their specific roles. Resource Families can easily access all the training required of them in one place.

In addition, Absorb has a built-in tracking tool that gives staff access to user transcripts, making it easy to monitor progress and completion. This helps us ensure Resource Families remain compliant with program requirements.

Another thing I really appreciate is that our organization has been assigned a dedicated Absorb expert. Our expert, Claire Farnan, meets with us monthly and takes the time to answer our questions and share updates about the platform. Claire is extremely knowledgeable and very easy to work with, and we truly value her ongoing support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

Uploading training into Absorb can be a bit time-consuming, especially with all the fields that have to be completed to ensure the course is correct in the system and that the appropriate users/learners have access to it.

We’ve also run into some issues with tracking—like courses showing as completed even when a learner has only just started and hasn’t finished it yet. Those things can make it a little harder to stay confident that everything is accurate and up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure Training Hub with a Friendly Interface and Responsive Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

I like that it provides the opportunity to keep all the trainings in one secure place. The friendly interface makes the platform more accessible for learners and users, and the support team is always quick to respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

One situation in particular that could be improved is the option to add PowerPoint presentations from the admin side without the need to run them through the content creation portal, since that process is time-consuming. Without these additional steps, the learner has to download the content in order to go through it. Another aspect to be improved is that issues that were previously resolved are being repeated again. "Intuitive Platform, Would Benefit From Statistical Analysis Package"
4/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

I find Absorb LMS fairly intuitive, which, as a new user, has helped in designing professional education for clinical trials and healthcare providers. From designing content, to generating user reports, and reviewing question responses and user accuracy - the program has been easy to use. The ability to review the proportion of users who answered a question correctly has allowed me to refine educational materials and question content to best enable learning. The ability to upload preexisting PowerPoints is really helpful, and allows collaborators to develop a presentation that easily translates into content. This feature enables our team to work together effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

The reporting feature can be a bit clunky. It is unclear how analyzing individual responses, comparing responses, and performing statistical analyses would work in the platform. Integrations with Excel or another statistical analysis platform/package would be really helpful. Being able to develop a dashboard to monitor not only user progress but responses to individual questions would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Responsive Customer Support Team"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

The standout aspect of Absorb LMS is their responsive and supportive customer success team. Our CSM is always accessible and helpful, making it easier to navigate challenges and implement solutions. The platform is also flexible enough to support a variety of training scenarios, including ILT, external learners, and certification management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

Some releases and feature updates are not always fully thought through, which can lead to gaps or the need for workarounds. There are also areas, such as reporting and ILT workflows, that could benefit from more flexibility and automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Worth the Investment if compliance is central to your work"
5/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

We have just finished our nine week on-boarding and so far Absord has been a really good fit for us. We work within the health and social care sector and what has stood out is how straightforward it is to evidence training against regulatory frameworks without it turning in to a major admin job which takes hours. Other LMS platforms we tried did not offer even close to this. Before Absorb they were many hours per week spent on manually chasing learners, manually enrolling, downloading certificates indiviually etc., Nowwe don't need to spent even a fraction of this time doing this - Absorb allows us to bulk download certificates, automate reminders and escaltions and the reporting dashboard allows us to oversee compliance really easily.

It's also far more customisable than anything else we looked at which matters when your workforce and your requirements do not fit a generic template.

The onboarding itself was really throgugh, Cliodhna took time to understand how we actually work rather than just walking us through a standard set-up process. Nine weeks sounds long but it was well structured and has enabled us to set up a platform around our own needs rather than something generic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

The pricing is quite high which for smaller orginsations, is a big investment, but in our case the features, integrations and time saved on manual admin makes it worht it. The HTML editor feels more limited than we had expected. We explored adding a discussion board within one of our courses, but this required the purchase of an additional module. For administrators creating their own content or trying to build lightweight interactive elements, this can make customisation feel a little restrictive. That said, we do appreciate the balance between platform functionality and the promotion of additional product features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rescuing Hope LMS"
5/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

Technical consistency, readily available customer service, and documentation that’s as concise as it needs to be to achieve the intended results. Stephanie Akpieyi is my weekly support, and I honestly can’t live without her. She is my teacher, mentor and patient support in all things Absorb. Her leadership gives me immediate success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

The catalog of courses is outdated by topics and particularly videos. Asking for help usually results in work or tasks being given back to me to handle on a plate that is already overflowing. I am not a tech person and Absorb/LMS is a fraction of my job. It needs to work but it can't be my only project and time is of the essence when it needs to get done. "Easy Course Building and Smooth Onboarding with Responsive Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

Building courses is very easy. We switched platforms in the 11th hour and in 2 months. The Absorb onboarding staff (Debbie, Geoff, Marisa, Lauren, Jessica, and of course, Piper!) made it a breeze. We lost a few account managers over 4-6 months, but finally received Stephanie in December. She is a go-getter! She immediately responds to my requests to help me through any features we need or questions I have or finds someone who can answer my questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

The subscription feature is a must for us, but we have not been able to implement it because it lacks the ability to accommodate our pay structure and invoicing. The standard reporting features are highly lacking and our department heads cannot customize their Admin dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined, Custom Training That Fits Our Unique Needs"
5/5

I love that we can create our own training within Absorb to fit our unique needs. It helps streamline all of our training options into one program, which makes it much easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

Absorb offers a ton of customization options, which can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially when you’re just getting started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Elevates Learning Management with User-Centric Features"
5/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

I really enjoy the product road map that Absorb LMS provides and how they listen to their customers, implementing new features that make everything easier for everyone. This enhances both the learner experience and the admin side. I love the transparency they have regarding the features they add, and how they're inspired by customer feedback, which is clearly noted. They also implement AI in an intuitive and meaningful way, avoiding unnecessary integration and supporting this with beta tests. Absorb Academy is a resource for system admins, enabling them to understand and creatively use the platform for different purposes. I also love the access and support we have to our wonderful CSM Tamar Lupo. She has been instrumental in getting us the answers to many of our questions (though with Absorb's great knowledge-base articles, they do great with that too!). She has been really helpful with our questions around edge-cases and how to really customize the platform to meet our needs, and informing us of new feature rollouts and how we can tailor them into our platform. Whenever she may not have an answer to our questions, she makes sure to loop us in directly with the person who does, or does her additional research and comes back with us without any reminders. She's a rockstar! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

I think the growing pain of it is sometimes it's not consistent in how reporting features in the back end work. This is mostly just on the admin side. It doesn't impact the learner experience at all. We're switching things were a bit more consistent and the analyze add-on we have for extra dashboards was a bit more built out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Modern, User-Friendly Interface That Makes Content Easy to Find"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

How easy it is for users to find and start content. One of the things that stood out most is how modern Abosrbs interface was compared to other LMS systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

Lack of customization options on the front end, and ability to integrate widgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
