I also really feel like we receive great value from customer support and our Client Success Manager - for everything from Portal configuration, course and curriculum configuration to user enrolment permissions. I like that I was able to launch into creating/updating or editing our content - words, pictures and videos in Create really easily, and test new features like Create AI Beta and provide feedback to the product manager via the Ideas Portal . The support desk for User Interface technical issues (for example update the SSL certificate for the UI) were responsive and sorted us out. Our clients are enjoying the Department Administrator access role - which provides them access to create or download their own course and user reports, create new users and /or use the Enrollment Key feature - where new learners can effectively create there own account and be enrolled in courses or curriculum in a single step. **What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?** Sometime the configuration for a Dashboard template, course or learner permissions don't quite work the way I think they will - and this is where having access to our fantastic Client Success Manager has been hugely helpful! **What problems is Absorb LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used to provide training - introducing and training groups of client employees how to use our software in-person as site visit. This had a number of disadvantages - In larger groups of employees and more heirarchical organisations - learners tended not to ask questions during face-to-face sessions. - the training had to be delivered at the client location and usually in short time frames - which meant many users were not using the software before training had complete - most clients did not want to pay for extended training visits - The majority of the training was around the common use cases of the software and client customisation was often not complete when training was carried out. Leaving hardcopy documents provided digitally as only communications on those customisation. - Turnover in client employees would lead to poor handover practices on how to use the software. - The lack of training led to a large number of support requests that could have been solved by a trained users themselves - this was limiting time for support team to perform more forward looking customer support activities. ### 5. We have a Client Services Manager at Absorb, Claire Farnan, who is very knowledgeable about the Absorb LMS as well as some of the unusual requirements we have in our business regarding training management. There are plenty of features with a wide variety of uses. But what has been awesome to see as I continue to use it is the staff and support available to clients. I use Absorb daily for several hours, and whenever I have a question, I know who to go to. When questions arise, I always receive a detailed response quickly that helps me solve the issue. The platform is also extremely easy to learn and use. **What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?** There isn't much to dislike about Absorb LMS. I have had a couple of trouble with bulk enrolling a large group of individuals. I would love if there was a box where I could copy and paste a list of usernames to bulk enroll easily. However, I instead need to go through a multi-step process to import a user list and enroll them. The Absorb team especially Mark Williams, Caroline Mc Partland and everyone else has been incredibly supportive, guiding us through each step with clear communication and expert advice. The platform’s intuitive setup has made it easy to customize and configure according to our organization’s needs. The thorough training sessions provided have ensured that our team feels confident and prepared to manage the system. The attention to detail and responsiveness of the support team have been outstanding, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and effectively. We are excited to launch and are confident that Absorb LMS will greatly enhance our training and development programs. **What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?** The mobile app experience could offer the same level of functionality as the desktop version, currently it looks limited. Overall, Absorb LMS is a solid platform. **What problems is Absorb LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our previous LMS presented a dated and cumbersome learner experience, making it difficult for users to navigate and mark courses as complete. The reporting system was also limited, with certain reports only able to export one year’s worth of data, and administrators role setting lacked the ability to manually mark course completions.
