Absorb LMS has facilitated a significant reduction in instructor-led training through the implementation of online modules. The administrative interface is user-friendly, enabling efficient course creation. Additionally, I was impressed by the value of the impersonate mode, which allows administrators to preview content from the learner’s perspective prior to publication. One suggestion that may benefit some Administrators is the implementation of a notification feature when a user signs into Absorb for the first time. This would be particularly helpful, as I have sent enrolments and observed that some learners have not taken any action. Prior to implementing Absorb LMS, I developed custom PowerPoint presentations, managed training schedules, and facilitated sessions through Zoom or Microsoft Teams. I love the wide range of content already available within the system. On top of this, being able to upload or create your own content and have one central location to manage all of our training is fantastic. Our Project Manager, Luke Valentine, has been fantastic throughout the whole implementation. Luke seems to spot the mistakes we made before we even reached out. The groups helped us save hours each week in enrolling users. The full customization of the system and easy integration with different platforms gives it an edge. Content management & delivery It centralizes all training content in one place, rather than leaving it scattered across files and folders. It also handles SCORM packages natively, so the Articulate 360 builds you create can be uploaded and tracked properly. On top of that, it supports mixed content types—e-learning modules, videos, documents, and assessments—within a single course structure. Tracking & compliance It automates completion tracking, certifications, and reporting, which is critical for things like your cybersecurity awareness rollout where you need proof that employees actually completed phishing/BEC/social engineering training. It also flags who hasn’t completed mandatory training, which matters a lot for audit trails and compliance-driven programs. Scalability across audiences It lets you assign different learning paths to different groups (for example, optometrists vs. sales associates for the EWA training) without having to duplicate courses. I like that with Absorb LMS, we can see the real-time progress of staff in a certain course. I really like the interface of Absorb LMS; it's easy to use and allows me to create and publish content quickly. I appreciate its flexibility and the user experience, as well as the detailed reporting which meets our needs for audits. I also like that we can stay up to date compliance-wise and provide annual training reports. The ease of setup was a definite plus, as it was very easy. I really enjoy the ease of use of the product. The customer support is incredible. Pricing has stayed within our abilities and we find it to be worth our money. Our users have been satisfied with the performance of the product and we have had less and less need for corporate assistance due to improvements to the LMS including but not limited to integrations and AI. There are times it can be difficult to find what I am looking for in how to run a specific report or run data for a course or user. Luckily, AI has helped to improve that tremendously. The Absorb LMS has continued to be an easy-to-use but powerful tool to create educational content for our key partners and stakeholders, meeting a range of needs and requirements. We work directly with Dave Mullan, who has continuously provided timely and quality help for myself as the lead and our organization. Dave has helped us troubleshoot issues, ensure efficiency, and has kept us up to date and has demonstrated and suggested functions as Absorb rolls out new features. As we look to expand our offerings further, Dave has helped strategize for the best approach, which has helped our workflow and the end-user experience. Dave has always been patient and helpful in getting and keeping us on the right track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Absorb LMS? As we continue to expand education there have been a few instances where functions were limited or not available. In these instances, Dave has been responsive about capabilities and options, and has helped troubleshoot and shared feedback with his team to work on solutions. As an example, I very much appreciate the ability to use AI voices as part of our trainings, but there are instances where medical language is mispronounced. There have also been some instances where the functionality of quiz questions have not worked or resulted in errors. There are a few instances such as the aforementioned that can be improved, and as my team continues to evolve and improve, I appreciate that Dave and the Absorb team are doing so as well. We are a nonprofit with an expanding focus on professional medical education and who collaborates with partners within the industry to provide educational courses and resources. This LMS is incredibly user friendly for Admins and Leaners alike. As an admin, you are able to manage courses, users, and resources without robust onboarding/training. Absorb is dilligent about informing Admins of changes in a timely manner, so whether you use the system daily or only sign in quarterly, you can rest assured you'' be up to date on the latest changes. The Customer Support Managers and Account Managers take the time to know their clients by name, understand their use case, and provide guidance from there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Absorb LMS? While most support requests recieve a timely response; glitches that need developer involvement can take a while to fix, since they require time to find the cause of the issue and appropriate fix. As with most LMS, this was built with internal customers as the primary focus. Using Absorb LMS for external clients can require creativitiy at times. Absorb LMS has relieved all the pain points I’ve run into with other learning systems. It offers a true “what you see is what you get” experience, with straightforward reporting and updates built right into the screens I use regularly, rather than forcing me to learn how to manipulate data through complicated reporting interfaces. Right now, the containers feel clunky and hard to work with. I’d also love more customization options, similar to the dynamic sections and pages in a more recent SharePoint update. As a small team of two, we’re able to quickly manage adding new courses, reviewing learner progress, and simulating what learners see for troubleshooting. The analytics built in with Analyze Essentials and the BI through Absorb Amplify help us see success metrics in real-time and make data-driven, informed decisions for growth and improvement of our platform and for our workforce.
