Absorb LMS Reviews & Product Details

Absorb LMS answered a lot of questions we were facing as an organization in how we train and develop our employees. Absorb is not only a fantastic repository for learning resources, the built in tools make creating new resources and experiences for our teammates so much easier and more streamlined. We use the Absorb Create authoring tool and have had great luck in course creation using many methods (Ai, templates, etc.). We also absolutely loved both our sales representative, Mike Kuphos, and our Implementation manager, Joe Zizian. Joe has been a great help even since we went live with our LMS and were moved into the maintenance stage! There aren't any downsides I can think of! It can be tricky to find certain things at times, but I find the search feature to be very helpful within the Admin view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The LMS side is a solid and reliable platform. It allows me to publish and manage content, enroll learners, generate reports, and now even create content. Some aspects of the platform are not very intuitive and often require workarounds. For instance, managing group enrollments can be cumbersome—you have to navigate into groups and view the users in order to enroll them all at once, instead of simply using the 'enroll users' feature to select a group or individual users directly. Additionally, the notification system, particularly the emails sent out during enrollments, could be clearer. It would be helpful if, when publishing, a pop-up or a visible tile indicated whether emails are being sent out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Absorb LMS has continued to be an easy-to-use but powerful tool to create educational content for our key partners and stakeholders, meeting a range of needs and requirements. We work directly with Kirsten Spak, who has continuously provided timely and quality help for myself as the lead and our organization. Kirsten has helped us ensure that we are going about things as efficiently and is always willing to walk through things to demonstrate suggestions and functions. As we look to expand our offerings further, Kirsten has helped strategize for the best approach, which has helped our workflow and the end-user experience. As we are still relatively new users, but using the LMS every day, Kirsten has been very patient and provided clear instruction on processes when we were unsure of what to do and has been able to troubleshoot, with her team, functions that were desired but not availability at the time, to provide us with solutions. As we continue to expand education there have been a few instances where functions were limited or not available. In these instances, Kirsten has been responsive about capabilities and options, and has shared feedback with her team to work on solutions. As an example, I very much appreciate the ability to use AI voices as part of our trainings, but there are instances where medical language is mispronounced. There are a few instances such as the aforementioned that can be improved, and as my team continues to evolve and improve, I appreciate that Kirsten and her team are doing so as well. Absorb LMS is a reliable and user-friendly learning management system. What stands out most is how easy it is to manage training programs while saving time. Its automation features such as, automatic enrollments, reminders, and various type of reports help to reduce manual work. The platform also works well on mobile devices and connects easily with other systems. Hence, with the dynamic dashboards and useful data insights, organizations can make better decisions and improve learning outcomes. Nothing in particular. However, I feel some of the features could have been readily available together with the monthly subscription, however its usually associates with cost factor on some of the key features, such as Absorb content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Training programs and courses are now centralized, allowing each employee's training history to be easily stored and accessed. Absorb has also streamlined much of the administrative and logistical work, such us enrollments, attendance checking and learning progress - saving us significant time and effort.

Another reason we've enjoyed working with Absorb is the support from our Client Success Managers, Brittney and later Anup. As first time LMS users, their guidance has been incredibly helpful. They have consistently offered practical suggestions to improve our process. Even outside of our scheduled meetings, they've been quick to respond to our questions via email whenever we hit a bump. Their support was especially evident when we integrated one of our internal apps to streamline our process. I was hoping for more features that could make an instructor's job easier, particularly around grading and assessment management. For example. assessments need to be reviewed individually, which can be time consuming. A bulk review or grading opting would be a great addition, as well as a more flexiblilty in grading overall.

Also, while we haven't subscribed to the Analyze or Engage add-ons, it would have been helpful to have access to some basic engagement tools or data insights by default. The best part of Absorb is being able to have a record of training for the organisation. It is like a one-stop shop for Evidence of education. The initial phase of the Absorb set-up was crucial, and we had received tremendous support from Britnney in the initial phase to the live rollout, and this support continued with Anup coming on board as well. From a learner's experience, the Absorb set-up allowed us to track all the activities of training and also allowed us to access all the available training on the LMS. Despite having our own specific mandatory training, access to other educational resources was made accessible. As a Learner and an Admin user, I can say that I use the Absorb platform every day, whether I am completing a learning on Absorb, building a curriculum, setting up an ILC session or even generating reports from Absorb. Absorb is user-friendly once you get used to the system. Through the constant education and awareness of Absorb integration, our report of difficulty in accessing or utilising Absorb has dropped drastically, which means that staff are becoming familiar with the system. The inability to troubleshoot changes in the admin requires a process to make the changes. For example, for the tracking of CPD Points, you can not separate 2024 and 2025. All points for 2024 and 2025 will be added together. Recommendation has been given to us to address with the Absorb Admin; however, I believe that they should be able to fix it. One of the standout features for me has been the Instructor-Led Course (ILC) sessions, which are easy to schedule, manage, and attend. The platform makes it simple to set up ILC sessions, register for sessions, and provide learners with a seamless experience. I’ve found the interface to be very user-friendly, both from an administrator’s perspective and for learners navigating their courses. Absorb also does a great job of blending traditional eLearning with live sessions, making it a versatile solution for organizations with different training needs. Customer support is not a standout feature. We have the added elite support for an extra cost which is great, however, when we have had to submit a support ticket, it sometimes takes longer than anticipated and may not even solve the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

After using multiple LMS platforms with prior companies, I was tasked with finding the best fit for JEO Consulting Group. One key feature we were looking for was an e-commerce option, the ability to design training within the LMS, and a team that would support our growth. sing Absorb LMS has been a really good experience for me. The platform is easy to use and makes managing learning simple and enjoyable. Its clean design and clear layout help both learners and administrators find what they need quickly.

Creating courses, uploading content, and setting them up for learners to take online is smooth and straightforward. You can create single courses, group them into bundles, design full learning paths, and even offer certifications. This makes it easy to plan learning programs that fit different needs.

One of my favorite parts of Absorb LMS is the Analyze Dashboard. It gives detailed reports and insights about how learners are doing, such as who is completing their courses and how training is performing overall. This helps us make better decisions and improve our learning plans over time.

Another great thing about Absorb is its customer support team. They are always quick to respond, and very helpful whenever questions come up. We also have dedicated Customer support manager who is really helpful.

The LMS is intuitive and easy to use. I went from ZERO LMS experience, to fully up and running with a live system and full confidence to successfully utilize and manage the system. The customization (reporting, fields, translations, etc.) allows you to mold the platform into basically whatever you can imagine. Which really speaks to the intuitive design of the software. Katalina Perez was our implementation project manager and I can not say enough good things about her. Her communication, product knowledge and creative solutions are absolutely top notch! She was timely on responses and quick to provide solutions every step of the way.
