Moreover, Absorb presented as user-friendly and capable of supporting both internal employees and external agents. Dave has helped us troubleshoot issues, ensure efficiency, and has kept us up to date and has demonstrated and suggested functions as Absorb rolls out new features. Dave has always been patient and helpful in getting and keeping us on the right track. **What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?** As we continue to expand education there have been a few instances where functions were limited or not available. As an example, I very much appreciate the ability to use AI voices as part of our trainings, but there are instances where medical language is mispronounced. There have also been some instances where the functionality of quiz questions have not worked or resulted in errors. This enhances both the learner experience and the admin side. I love the transparency they have regarding the features they add, and how they're inspired by customer feedback, which is clearly noted. They also implement AI in an intuitive and meaningful way, avoiding unnecessary integration and supporting this with beta tests. Absorb Academy is a resource for system admins, enabling them to understand and creatively use the platform for different purposes. I also love the access and support we have to our wonderful CSM Tamar Lupo. She has been instrumental in getting us the answers to many of our questions (though with Absorb's great knowledge-base articles, they do great with that too!). She has been really helpful with our questions around edge-cases and how to really customize the platform to meet our needs, and informing us of new feature rollouts and how we can tailor them into our platform. Whenever she may not have an answer to our questions, she makes sure to loop us in directly with the person who does, or does her additional research and comes back with us without any reminders. She's a rockstar! **What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?** I think the growing pain of it is sometimes it's not consistent in how reporting features in the back end work. This is mostly just on the admin side. It doesn't impact the learner experience at all. We're switching things were a bit more consistent and the analyze add-on we have for extra dashboards was a bit more built out. **What problems is Absorb LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Absorb LMS solves access issues to training, eliminates scrambling for links, resolves expired links, enables tracking of training completion, and cultivates a learning culture by providing resources for employees. ### 7. When I realized that I was going to start learning Absorb and all of its workings, I was a little worried, but as I have gotten to use the training that our CSM, Maggie Stillman, has recommended to me, I have loved how easy the system is and how many features we can use. Julie McCandlish and Maggie Stillman are amazing. They both help us with whatever we need and are happy to do so. As someone who is new to the company, they were both so friendly and so happy to answer any questions that I had. I feel confident and excited to continue to learn the Absorb LMS, knowing I have a great support team. **What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?** What we have encountered to be the least helpful about Absorb LMS is some of the reporting features, which we have found a little confusing. But there is an ideas portal where you can post and upvote other users' ideas for improvements. There are ways to do almost anything you would need to do to provide courses and curriculum to groups of people. The customization is really helpful and robust, with each toggle and option clearly describing the outcome. The support has continually improved since implementation - now it is within a few hours! **What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?** There aren't any big things I dislike about Absorb. Little things we noticed shortly after implementation have been addressed with updates and new feature releases. **What problems is Absorb LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to have a single place for all our learners to access training content, no matter the type, with a single login. We have internal learners that need to track completion for certification requirements, and we are expanding to host end customer training through eCommerce and enrollment keys. Having the option to manage all of this in one system makes it so much more efficient! Our other problem that Absorb has helped us solve is better access to training data. We've been able to have comprehensive data on all our learners, courses, and other metrics. In addition, Absorb has made it possible for us to give specific reporting and enrollment capabilities to our business partners, so each location has one or more administrators. Saves us a ton of time in manipulating data and reports to send out each month to all 25 of these business partners. ### 11. But even here, i cant really complain since the feedback / request or update release process is extremely transparent. Since we implemented Absorb, it became really easy for us to just upload courses and provide them to our learners. Admins can very easily and comfortably program the courses, set up the rules, and manage the data related to the courses and activities. From the learners' feedback, we've seen that they found the platform to be pretty straightforward, clean, and neat. They know exactly where to go and what to find, which makes it user-friendly. Additionally, the inclusion of quizzes and other gamification functionalities, along with the offering of credits, makes the platform interesting for customers, encouraging them to return for more courses. The straightforward setup process, except for some specific compliance and privacy policies, also stood out for me. **What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?** One thing that has been challenging is the integration with Veeva PromoMats. We store all our technical information in a Veeva Vault, and each course content has to be approved there before being transferred to Absorb. Unfortunately, the integration hasn't worked so far, creating a lot of manual effort for admins to download approved material from one platform and upload it to the other. Also, the number of available custom fields, which is 25, 35, or 45, isn't sufficient for us moving forward. Additionally, there are specific compliance and privacy policies that we couldn't handle within Absorb, and those have been open issues for more than two years. **What problems is Absorb LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Absorb LMS helps us train our global customers efficiently before launching products. Using this feature to promote courses that might be relevant after company Lunch & Learns, Trainings and Leadership Discussions. Another great way Absorb helps us grow is through Absorb Create! It's been a great tool to use when creating trainings that are branded to us. Utilizing the A1 feature to help refine the trainings we already have into something greater. **What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?** There are not a lot of features on Absorb that I would catagorize as least effective or least used. Our managers, admins and employees love all the unique features and platforms. If I had to say anything about dislikes, I would say the Reviewers abilities. We did have an issue where our Leadership team was not able to review created trainings because they did not hold "Create Licenses" and our login is set up through SSO. So, they do not have individual login credentials. It makes it really hard to get these trainings up and running if we are having to create new logins for leadership and have them remember another password. That was the point of using SSO. **What problems is Absorb LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Since Absorb is a lot more user friendly than most LMS systems on the market, our team has been able to navigate the platform easier, and our system admins are able to see data they have never seen before. Absorb is not only a fantastic repository for learning resources, the built in tools make creating new resources and experiences for our teammates so much easier and more streamlined. We use the Absorb Create authoring tool and have had great luck in course creation using many methods (Ai, templates, etc.). We also absolutely loved both our sales representative, Mike Kuphos, and our Implementation manager, Joe Zizian. Joe has been a great help even since we went live with our LMS and were moved into the maintenance stage! We implemented the LMS in 4 weeks due to his guidance and willingness to move along at a quicker pace. **What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?** There aren't any downsides I can think of! It can be tricky to find certain things at times, but I find the search feature to be very helpful within the Admin view. **What problems is Absorb LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** The previous LMS platforms we used were clunky, difficult to navigate, and we had to purchase content to put in the LMS (no authoring tool). Absorb, while pricier than our previous options, contains so much added value. We love Absorb Create and have use it to author over 75 courses since our implementation 6 months ago! It has cut down the time to create learning resources significantly, while still maintaining a high quality. We needed to be able to track learning (which wasn't really possible in our previous LMS's) so the admin experience solved pretty much every problem we had in that regard - we love the ease of use of the reporting feature. Additionally, the notification system, particularly the emails sent out during enrollments, could be clearer. The initial phase of the Absorb set-up was crucial, and we had received tremendous support from Britnney in the initial phase to the live rollout, and this support continued with Anup coming on board as well. From a learner's experience, the Absorb set-up allowed us to track all the activities of training and also allowed us to access all the available training on the LMS. Despite having our own specific mandatory training, access to other educational resources was made accessible. As a Learner and an Admin user, I can say that I use the Absorb platform every day, whether I am completing a learning on Absorb, building a curriculum, setting up an ILC session or even generating reports from Absorb. Absorb is user-friendly once you get used to the system. Through the constant education and awareness of Absorb integration, our report of difficulty in accessing or utilising Absorb has dropped drastically, which means that staff are becoming familiar with the system. For example, for the tracking of CPD Points, you can not separate 2024 and 2025. All points for 2024 and 2025 will be added together. I went from ZERO LMS experience, to fully up and running with a live system and full confidence to successfully utilize and manage the system. The customization (reporting, fields, translations, etc.) allows you to mold the platform into basically whatever you can imagine. Which really speaks to the intuitive design of the software. Katalina Perez was our implementation project manager and I can not say enough good things about her. Her communication, product knowledge and creative solutions are absolutely top notch! She was timely on responses and quick to provide solutions every step of the way. Allowing for our team to easily and rapidly integrate our training content and prepare to expand our training options and management globally. **What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?** I honestly have not seen a downside to this system yet. **What problems is Absorb LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Absorb LMS is allowing for our global operations to seamlessly align and coordinate on our technical training objectives. As well, it opens the door for us to align global training and support in all aspects of our company (parts, warranty, sales, etc.). The LMS provides us the competitive edge over our competitors and allows us to effectively reach all of our global divisions and companies instantly. Some easy quick edits to explain sections, add your voice, add additional directions-links, messages...so easy. Makes creating content for employees, customers, vendors so easy to navigate-no more "training sessions". Our implementation manager made everything extremely easy to understand, went over every detail, showed us hidden features and the integration to our system was seamless. We will be using this for all new hires, managers and field personnel. We love the availability of the support team when we need it-live. **What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?** We honestly have not found a downside, except maybe it doesn't deliver a cup of coffee when you think you want one. Seriously, this product delivers everything and more. I researched all the "clickables" before purchasing Absorb LMS-this offers so much more. **What problems is Absorb LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Absorb LMS is helping our company solve the issue with onboard "paper training". As a construction management professional company we have various processes that must be maintained, as simple as: file naming properly to filling out bid abstracts, PO requests, Asset management-Absorb maintains our training library, enabling us to assign the right trainings to the right candidate -thus eliminating time consuming meetings or emails. Having this library at their fingertips also helps reinforce procedures for a successful work plan. ### 41. My curriculum is heavily scientific so I already knew going in that it wouldn't quite have the right level of detail and I wouldn't expect it to. For that reason I have been using the Create tool which works wonderfully. The software has allowed us to go from potentially having to outsource to me being able to build it myself. The course builder is robust and the timings mean animations are quite easy to create in the site itself without having to use any software (although I have also used Canva to create some graphics). I don't have a background in LMS content delivery, and this is my first time creating learning modules, so that should tell you how easy it is to use. The course and user management are done in a way that we can manage our education and users how we want to, and the customisation on home pages means they will get a professional experience. **What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?** The one thing that is missing for me in Create is the ability to use super- and sub-script text. Being scientific content, there is a LOT of this in my curriculum and I have to create separate text boxes each time, line it up and leave space in the main text. This is not difficult, but it is time consuming compared to being able to toggle superscript for a letter or two every now and then. This was also one of my suggestions to Canva and they implemented it, so I'm hoping that can be done here! **What problems is Absorb LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** We wanted to create a course for customers to give them some added value when partnering with us, and fill a big need in their workplace as we are providing education that is missed between university and trained professional level. ### 43. Previous LMS hosts I’ve used were a hassle and took a long time to learn how to use. Most other LMS products are so complex, they required a separate role to be Learning tech support so that I could get help with my tasks as a Learning Designer. I love that the user-friendliness of Absorb allows me to poke around and find my own solutions easily. It’s very intuitive, so I find it easy to navigate. But I also find the search bar and suggested tags to be very clever- they seem to know exactly what I need based off my previous interactions. Absorb’s LMS makes me feel empowered. Before, I had to schedule time weekly or monthly with another person to get a simple report or upload a SCORM to the LMS. Now, I can assign courses, pull reports, and upload content in a second without anyone’s assistance. That makes me feel like a useful member of Talent Development and I feel confident that I can save my company money by taking on the tasks that would normally be allocated to a separate job role. I cannot say how much I appreciate Absorb Create as an add-on to the LMS. It is seamlessly connected for easy upload and updates but it is also an incredibly simply but powerful authoring tool. Create can produce similar content to that of Articulate Storyline without the oldschool layout or hours upon hours of training. I think it’s an amazing tool for beginner Learning Designers as well as experienced ones who want to pull off projects quickly and with ease. Above all, the constant support and attention of our Account Manager (Kayla C) and Client Success Manager (Olga M.) is what makes Absorb so great to partner with. They always respond quickly and keep up a regular cadence to check in on functions and things we want to achieve. They never shy away from complicated programs and are always eager to find a way to make Absorb work for us. They are a huge reason why I think this program is such a good fit for our company and team. **What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?** Any issues I've had before stemmed from a lack of knowledge about the system and were quickly resolved through a conversation with my Client Success Manager. There could be solutions in the making, but I do wish the Time to Complete on external courses could be tracked accurately or that Absorb Create would enact a "triggers" function similar to Articulate Storyline. While they aren't available now, there are workarounds so it's not difficult to achieve my vision in these areas. **What problems is Absorb LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Absorb is helping us standardize our training from annual compliance to safety courses and more. With it all available in one place, we can then properly assign and report on completions which is a huge deal for remaining compliant and ensuring we are reaching our audience.
