"The invisible hero"
What do you like best about Absolute Secure Access?

I like that the licenses are managed on the Absolute Secure Access server and that they are automatically assigned when a user logs into to Windows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absolute Secure Access?

I honestly do not have any dislikes about Secure Access. It just works they way it should and stays out of the way of my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent VPN solution"
What do you like best about Absolute Secure Access?

Very robust and reliable VPN. The policies that you can craft set Absolute Secure Access apart from any other VPN solution I've used. It allows for complex setups and granular network traffic flow control based on a lot of variables. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absolute Secure Access?

There's very little to complain about with Absolute Secure Access. One feature I would like to see is network monitoring/logging on all network adapters, not just the one that is the active connection. This would be useful for split tunnel monitoring and troubleshooting without having to use other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best VPN for a mobile environment you can get!"
What do you like best about Absolute Secure Access?

Very easy to use and when there is a problem tech support is knowledgable and quick to solve any issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absolute Secure Access?

Although my license subscription allows unlimted number of servers it will only allow you to run one server version over 30 days. This means that if you are migrating from an EOL platform like Windows 7 you can't migrate to the most current version of Absolute Secure Access despite the fact my licensing covers unlimited server installs regardless of the version running on the server. This has meant for us a two and a half year wait to get to the most current version of Absolute Secure Access while our old systems are being replaced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Super Secure and stable access"
What do you like best about Absolute Secure Access?

It's truley a set it and forget it application. It sometimes doesn't get the attention it deserves because it's an out of sight, out of mind application. We are always so busy supporting other applications, and never have to do anything other than updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absolute Secure Access?

It would be nice is the software was system service based, so it would connect when the computer is powered on (like wifi), but a user must log in for the application to begin running. This limits IT/helpdesk support within the agency because it disconnects every time you log out or someone else logs in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid Performing Product"
What do you like best about Absolute Secure Access?

From the initial experience with the product, it has proven to be a valuable asset in my company. The ease of use, and the toolset for evaluating where there are potential issues on the network help my department to be more proactive than reactive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absolute Secure Access?

The menu navigation can take a bit getting used to with all of the different things that need to happen, and I think that there is room for improvement on the resources that are needed to power the Analytics side of the platform. but other than that, currently I am not seeing many downsides. "Absolute Secure Access - Better than the competitors"
What do you like best about Absolute Secure Access?

The SAC provided us a far more intuitive experience than our previous client, the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client. The client's ability to maintain a suspended state if connectivity were to get lost for any reason (a temporary power outage, a network outage or just a lost connection) is amazing. It saves our users lots of unneccesary time by not having to reconnect after the connection is restored then go thru and reopen all services that require a consistent connection thru the VPN that we had to deal with quite often with previous VPN clients.

Absolute's central administration platform has provided to be far more invaluable than we would have thought previous simply because we didn't know this level of understanding and knowledge were available. Absolute Secure Access's server (Absolute Insight) provides us with a central point of information in knowing where our users are connecting from, what their current state of connection is, and, in extreme cases, helping us track down vital information in the event our user's device becomes compromised for any reason. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absolute Secure Access?

The primary drawback that I've dealt with that I worked with Absolute's tech support and engineering team over was their central deployment piece. Thru the Absolute Insights for Network they have the ability to deploy updates to the SAC that are quite user friendly, assuming they function as they are intended. Where the drawback comes into play is we've had a hard time getting that piece to function as it is intended.

When we put together the deployment and push it out, the deployment goes out to all users as its supposed too, which is perfect. The fall through comes into play after the fact. If any of our users are in the middle of something and installing the VPN client update, which usually requires a restart, and they push the Delay/defer option, they are never hit with a reminder to install the client nor does the client ever timeout and install on its own.

To be fair to Absolute, they can't replicate this in their own environment but this is something to note as its been a negative for us for going on 2 years now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust solution with a UI that needs some work"
What do you like best about Absolute Secure Access?

Secure access is easy to install and adding new users is very simple. I like the ability to customize rules at a very granular level. The product is stable and I have yet to experience any downtime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absolute Secure Access?

Sometimes the console UI is not very intuitive. I also would like the ability to see where a rule set may be causing user side latency, I haven't found an easy way to do this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ZTNA reimagined!"
What do you like best about Absolute Secure Access?

The most beneficial aspect of Secure Access is the expertise and customer support knowledge. Absolute has transformed an already robust Mobility and VPN management solution, and escorted it over the threshold into an era of ZTNA/SASE where companies need it the most. Secure Access keeps all of our remote end-users connected at all times, even when there are brief cellular coverage outages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absolute Secure Access?

There is honestly nothing I dislike about the company or the products they offer. ZTNA solutions make the whole end-user experience seamless and transparent, keeping our customers and administrators very happy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great solution! Very satisfied with Absolute"
What do you like best about Absolute Secure Access?

With the Absolute solution it help us to keep all our operation devices connected with a smooth transition from wi-fi to LTE and great policies to keep all group of devices in the same page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absolute Secure Access?

I like the product so much so the only thing I'd said could be better is the Graphic interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
