**What do you like best about Abaqus?**

Possibility of simulate a lot of different processes.

**What do you dislike about Abaqus?**

Not so easy to set a simulation, many parameters required even for a simple analysis

**What problems is Abaqus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Axisymmetric bodies and general 3D FEM

**What do you like best about Abaqus?**

The installation goes very smoothly. Users report a minimum of issues using the software,  and it support multiprocessing on high-core processors or clusters. 

**What do you dislike about Abaqus?**

It doesn’t do everything. We also use other FEA software. 

**Recommendations to others considering Abaqus:**

It’s expensive, but that’s the nature of FEA software. 

**What problems is Abaqus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have many students, faculty and researchers using Abaqus for finite element analysis. We’ve simulated torpedos, lots of airplanes, and many other structures.

**What do you like best about Abaqus?**

Abaqus is the one of the most efficient and accurate finite element analysis software to mesh complex structures into smaller and simpler samples and the stress analysis can be found for each concentrated parts of the structure. It is best in ways of calculating the element parts where each component can be morphed if the analysis report do not meet the design criteria.

**What do you dislike about Abaqus?**

The only downside is it's limitations to design in the software, not even small component change is not so easy to alter. We need to get back to the design software Catia to make changes as per the analysis report.Morphing of the element cannot be done independent of the entire component or part.

**Recommendations to others considering Abaqus:**

For any FEM related solutions I would just Abaqus over anyother software in the market.

**What problems is Abaqus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We manufacture components and parts made of metals used in trucks to aircrafts. Products ranging from a truck bumper to a cargo joint holders used in aircrafts. We analyse those parts using abaqus to define and standardize the strengths and limitations of the product.
