We have used Abacus Law since 2012, and it serves as the HUB to many facets of our firm's practice. We chose Abacus over other case management software, because Abacus allowed us to customize it specifically to meet the specific needs of our legal practice.

We have customized our calendar, created screens specific to the types of cases we handle, created reports, queries rules, forms, pdf forms, quick forms, and as our firm grows, we continue to customize Abacus.

Abacus has made our employees more productive, and there is less chance for error when you utilize the features that are a part of Abacus. We do not use Abacus Cloud. We have an in-house dedicated server for Abacus. Every morning we clear out the law temp file and manually run a backup. Then we reindex and do another backup.

While this is being performed, no one can be logged in to Abacus, Message Slips, or Outlook, which causes a lot of downtimes. It would save us a lot of time if this process could be automated to run overnight. Automating updates would also be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
