As soon as one issue is resolved, AbacusLaw changes a function that worked FINE, then does not work, or is incorrect with update. For example, AbacusLaw Accounting reports like the prebill preview report are NOT customizable unless you PAY Abacus to customize them. LIKEWISE HAS AN OPTIONAL ACCOUNTING MODULE THAT INTEGRATES WITH THIS CASE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM. BOTH THESE OPTIONS ELIMINATE DUPLICATE DATA ENTRY AND SAME TIME, AND HENCE ALLOW EFFICIENCY IN THE LAW OFFICE, SAVE STAFF AND ATTORNEY TIME, AND LIKEWISE SAVE THE PRACTICE MONEY. The calendar has numerous issues in syncing with Outlook. We no longer calendar any appointments in Abacus and rely solely on the one way Sync from Outlook to Abacus which has resolved some issues. The search feature does not work, making it easier for me to use the local network and Windows Explorer to find documents than to use the Abacus document management system. What do you dislike about AbacusLaw by CARET? Pandemic hit. We had to go virtual, working from home. Staff could no longer access Abacus.
