Abacum? Ease of integration, it was a breeze and I was so happy about because I was doing it by myself, and it looks easy to use as user. Looks like it is easy to implement but we are heading nowhere. We signed more than a month ago, we had a schedule to follow supposedly, but very very slow response, I had to keep on following up, It took them 2 weeks to sort out my questions and they did not even review all the documents they asked from me from pre kick off call. Implementation manager did a scoping call and did not understand what the business is doing - at all. Now, we are still barely in progress and most of the work is done on my end. We have signed for a cobuild model but it seems like I have been doing mostly by myself so far. The most important part of getting a software to work at its best is the implementation and we hanging here. Maybe this would change in the next 3 weeks, lets see. We've been using Abacum for 6 months, and we've been able to cut down the time we spend on manual reporting and report creation to a small fraction of what it was. Abacum allows us to better connect our actuals and forecast, drill down into ledger/transaction-level detail, and connect multiple data sources to use in planning and analysis. The implementation team was great and got us up and running so we could do our full budget planning inside of 4 weeks. Where we've had complex situations, our customer success manager and support team help us figure out the best setup or workarounds. The team is also very willing to make product updates and add feature requests to the roadmap. What do you dislike about Abacum? Nothing. Where we've encountered limitations in the product, the team has been great about finding workarounds or adding improvements to the roadmap. That is all automated with Abacum - we'll go from upwards of 5 person-days per month on just data consolidation, down to \< 1 day. All that manual work also led to errors, which we're reducing thanks to Abacum. Our previous planning tool was just spreadsheets; due to data/size limits, we could not plan in the detail that we need to as a business.
