"Impressive tool with excellent customer service"
4/5
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

Great account management and customer support service - always on hand to assist with queries or help brainstorm ideas for new experiments in quarterly sessions.

The client-side tool is really sophisticated and customisable with a lot of different options for setting up AB tests easily. Particularly like the fact that there are already loads of widgets and things that you can use straight away in your own AB tests. Definitely great for Marketers who want to setup tests quickly.

I like the integration with GA4 - it's always been easy to set this up and push data into GA/BigQuery.

EmotionsAI looks really cool and seems like a natural next-step in the evolution towards AI-led experimentation.

Our developers seem to have found it pretty straightforward and became really comfortable setting up server-side tests during our testing roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

I' have never been a massive fan of the fact that there have traditionally been two separate tools for client & server side AB tests and we needed to log into different platforms in order to review AB test performance and get info like the experiment IDs.

Similarly, I felt like the server-side reporting wasn't quite as polished as the client-side reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good experience with experimentation and content persoanlisation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

The platform has a very intuitive interface, so setting up tests is as easy as you website architecture allows you to. The visual editor is reliable but their strength lies in the widgets that tend to be quite stable to use for non-technical folks.

It is easy to implement tracking from within the tool and there are many options available, especially data layer based tracking.

I really like their support where we can chat with experts to get quick clarifications on issues. This is over and above a dedicated account manager to help us get the optimal benefit out of the tool.

Also, their product development backlog is client feedback driven and useful features are prioritized well.

Access to technical solution managers to get the best out of the tool is another plus.

They also focus on allowing us to integrate to various other tools and data warehouses which is a key feature needed in any good experimentation tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

While the editor is user-friendly, setting up more complex experiments (such as server-side testing or advanced targeting) still requires technical expertise. The visual editor also struggles with React-based sites that use dynamic class names, which limits its reliability in those cases.

Targeting options could be more cohesive. For example, it’s not currently possible to build audiences using combinations of purchase attributes such as multiple brands or purchase types. A native product feed with product details built into the experimentation platform would be a great addition. At the moment, this functionality is only available within their merchandising and recommendations module, which means experimentation users miss out on that flexibility. "A flexible and intuitive experimentation platform, with excellent CSM's and an extensive community."
4.5/5
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

- Their onboarding and client management is top class, always on hand to provide support when needed.

- The tool itself is easy to use, and provides all of the means of testing you would expect from a market leading experimentation & personalisation tool.

- AB Tasty also has a great community with their clients, with plenty of conferences and events to knowledge share and upskill. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

If I had to be picky, I'd say that having certain features only available with additional integration slowed us down from using the tool effectively in the early stages (e.g. the ability to target certain customer segments like cart abandoners, or having additional tags fire to be able to track purchases & revenue etc.), if these came as part of the initial onboarding we'd be using the tool more effectively from day one, but that's being super picky! "Has a lot of features, data layer is great for targeting, super user friendly for non-coders."
3.5/5
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

I like the visual editor, the ability to add in targeting by data layer elements, QA mode, and the ease of setting up client side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

Sometimes the visual editor can be buggy/not load. There is a limitation where it is reliant on cookies but there's not much to be done there. I wish the menu drop down with the accounts was a bit bigger as we manage multiple retailer checkouts. We are a bit unique in that sense. Also sending push events to our analytics tool (Looker) was a nightmare and we had to can it. But we use the dashboards reporting which has been enough. It would just be more convenient to scale this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A solid AB Testing platform for experimentation & personalisation that holds up against the best!"
5/5
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

AB Tasty makes experimentation simple & powerful with a clear interface that includes robust features for AB Testing, Personalisation, Product patches and Real time marketing messaging. I love how quickly we build, QA and release tests to our customers without heavy reliance on developers or release sprints.

I've worked with other platforms before and would like to also note the customer support supplied by ABT team is one of the best out there. Things do go wrong from time to time but the speed of fixing outstanding issues is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

Reporting, while insightful sometimes lacks deeper breakdowns compared to our analytics platforms. Occasional interface glitches mean loading visual editor sometimes requires reloading pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An effective way to test without having to guess"
5/5
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

The platform has an intuitive interface that makes it simple to set up A/B tests without needing technical expertise. Having access to the variety of segments makes it super easy to target the right people. I use the platform alongside Contentsquare which has been very easy to integrate.

The support I get from Scarlett is also second to none - there is no thing too difficult for her to advise on! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

There can be bugs in setting tests live, however they are usually quickly troubleshooted by the support. Some parts are impacted by the integration with Shopify as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Incredible Software & People"
5/5
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

AB Tasty is incredibly easy to use. The UX and reporting dashboard make it a highly valuable tool for us. Implementation was straightforward, and it integrated seamlessly with our website. We use it weekly, and it’s been so rewarding to see the significant impact our changes have on our Ecommerce experience. Special mention to Megan Tunney and Rajan Kalakoti, they’ve been fantastic contacts, always knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely lovely to work with. Huge credit to the company for that. What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

The reporting area can sometimes load a bit slowly, mainly because of the large volume of data it processes. Improving the load speed would make the experience even better. Also, I think the ROI dashboard could be more accurate. If it could pull in GA4 historical purchase data from the previous 12 months and then project ROI for implemented changes, that would make it even more powerful. "AB testing at its best"
5/5
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

Many enterprise tool trying to evolve into an all encompassing solution for many business needs, but end up subpar in many of those functionalities. What I love about AB Tasty that it sticks to AB testing and excelling at it. Whether you are an engineer or a marketeer without any coding knowledge you can enjoy using the tool and there are plenty of options for customisation, I don't think there was any idea which we couldn't launch due to limitations in AB Tasty. There are also very regular updates which are genuinely helpful, which tells me that they are keen listeners and understand their customers and the market very much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

They have recently integrated the server-side testing (Flagship) and client side testing tool into one platform, this has some teething issues which they are working through, but it caused some minor hiccups for internal users. The QA tool is really powerful, but almost it is too advanced, the QA workflow could be simplified, but to their credit it improved over the last 1 year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Positive experience using AB Tasty, easy to keep track of campaigns"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

I am a very visual person who sometimes struggles to dig into the numbers - since using AB Tasty I feel a lot more in touch with exactly how a campaign is performing and can quickly identify areas that need attention which saves a lot of time. I like that there are multiple ways to extract key metrics like 'chance to win', graphs, copilot and easy exporting for collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

There are a lot of features on AB Tasty that I have yet to discover and understand how to use them effectively. It can take a bit of time to navigate through all options and understand where to start, I'm sure as I spend more time on the platform with dedicated 'exploration' time and help from the team this will become less of a challenge. "User-Friendly Experimentation with Smooth Marketing & Analytics Integrations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

It is designed with a user friendly interface that allows non-technical teams to launch experiments with little training.

It integrates smoothly with popular tools like marketing and analytics tools which allows teams to connect experimentation data with existing workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

Pricing is a bit high for small teams as more advanced features are locked behind higher plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
