As a company we have worked with A-Scend for our for our SOC-2 Type 1 and HIPAA yearly audits, and we are impressed with their services. A-scend has helped with our audit experience, ensuring the yearly audits proceed smoothly and efficiently.

One of the standout features of A-scend's services is their exceptional clarity when it comes to field evidence requests, cloud expertise, SaaS experience. The field requests are well-defined and straightforward, making it easy for us to gather and provide the necessary documentation and evidence. This clarity significantly reduces the audit-related stress and confusion that can often accompany such processes during the kickoff call and evidence meetings.

A-scend Auditor's support throughout the audits has been commendable, they review our files and report back to us if they are not accepted or have any questions.

What do you like best about A-LIGN?

The tool is well organized and easy to use. Requests are easily managed and tracked. Email alerts keep the team informed while overall progress towards evidence accpetance is displayed in an easy to view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our SOC2 compliance is an absolute requirement by our customers to feel safe in trusting us with their data. Using the ASCEND tool allows us to submit our evidence, maintain a record of that evidence by category, and collaboratively work with our auditor to achieve validation in an organzied and timely manner.

What do you like best about A-LIGN?

Having the list of evidence required by the auditors helped very much, as there were several teams involved, and many people needed to gather all they asked for. But with the tool, it was easier to assign each task to the right people, and also with the additional insights of each evidence, they could understand what the auditor was asking for.

Also, internally, it makes it easier for the CISO to know what is the status of each task, so he can see the progression.

Aligning that with a time frame also helps to visualize if we're on track, or getting delayed on anything.

Also having the option to export all the data, allows us to keep an internal record of all the information provided and work done for next year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about A-LIGN?

Sometimes the tool didn't record properly when a task was assigned to someone, but ticking the boxes slower solved the problem.

Apart from that, everything works very well and I can't imagine doing this task without it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A-SCEND is used by our external auditors to gather all the evidence that they need for our ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II. It also allows us to know in advance the data that they need, and confirm with them that the evidence provided is suitable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about A-LIGN?

We are a very small company that believes deelpy in the SOC process. Three years ago we selected A-Scend after reviewing several other candidates. We are extremely happy that we selected this company. In each of our audits, we found the A-Scend staff to be very professional, appresiative of our business commitments and more than flexible with our time constraints. Our A-SECEND team is always receptive to our questions and requests for clarification. The most important thing I can offer with regard to these audits is that with each instance we have learned new and better ways of ensuring our compliance with the ever growing list security requirements. What do you like best about A-LIGN?

As a company we have worked with A-Scend for our SOC-2 Type 1 and HIPAA yearly audits for the last three years. A-Scend has helped our company organize our tasks with an easily accessible customer interface and a team that is ready to answer any questions.

One of the best features is having all the tasks listed, the ability to assign the correct team member to complete those tasks, the ability to reassign a task as needed and to see the history of evidence submitted in prior audits.

A-scend Auditor's support during the audit was also crucial to meeting all the audit deadlines. They efficiently review all submitted evidence and notify our team if evidence needs to be resubmitted.

What do you dislike about A-LIGN?

The filtering options can be a bit confusing. Ex. it was a bit difficult for me to figure out the tasks that were specifically assigned to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
