**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

What I like best about WorkMotion is how quickly and smoothly it enabled my international hiring process. Despite being based in Portugal and joining a company headquartered in Switzerland, I was able to complete the entire onboarding process and sign my employment contract in approximately two weeks. The speed and transparency of the process exceeded my expectations.

The platform's UI/UX is one of its strongest points. Iuse it to access employment documents and manage administrative tasks. Everything is organized in a clear and intuitive way, so I can usually find what I need in just a few clicks without having to contact support or navigate through complex menus.

Another aspect I appreciate is the responsiveness of the support team. Whenever I submitted a ticket, I received helpful responses, which gave me confidence that any issue or question would be resolved quickly. This was especially valuable during onboarding, when there are naturally many questions about contracts, benefits, and local employment requirements.

An unexpected benefit has been how WorkMotion simplifies compliance and employment administration across countries. As an employee, I don't have to worry about the complexity of international employment regulations, tax documentation, or local labor requirements. Knowing that these processes are handled professionally allows me to focus entirely on my work rather than administrative concerns.

Overall, WorkMotion combines a user-friendly platform, fast onboarding, excellent support, and efficient management of international employment, creating a seamless experience for remote employees.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

So far, I haven't encountered anything that I dislike about WorkMotion. I've only been using the platform for a short time, but my experience has been very positive. As I gain more experience with the platform over time, I may discover areas for improvement, but at this stage I have not experienced any significant issues or frustrations.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, the biggest benefit is the simplicity it brings to international employmen, WorkMotion handles the administrative and compliance aspects of the employment relationship, making the process straightforward and transparent. This allowed me to complete my onboarding quickly and start working without delays.

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

One of my favourite things about the WM platform is that it’s simple yet effective, and it really bridges the gap between you and the company you’re working for. I’m genuinely amazed by how easy it is to log hours, submit requests, and even raise a ticket whenever you have a query. I would 100% recommend it. On top of that, I really appreciate the interface: it’s functional, but also nicely designed. It works great on my phone too. Very, very happy.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Having to wait for a verification code to log in instead of using a password. Fine if I’m on my phone but not so great having to open outlook when I’m on my laptop.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s solving the fact that I’m working from a different country. It’s allowed me to keep my job in a seamless way and sort out the tax issue for myself as well as my company.

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

What we like most about WorkMotion is how easy they make international hiring and admin work feel. Whenever we need something clarified, they’re quick, structured, and clear.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

What I find a bit challenging is the way ticket communication works. When we get a new message on a ticket and reply via email, the response doesn’t show up or get tracked inside the WorkMotion platform or the other way around. It makes it hard to keep a full overview of the conversation thread in one place. Other than that, I don’t have any major dislikes.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkMotion helps us manage international employment much more smoothly. The integration with our HRIS removes a lot of manual work and keeps data consistent across systems. It also solves a major challenge for us by providing visa sponsorship for our talent in the UK, which makes hiring and retaining international employees far easier.

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

"Honestly, the onboarding was way smoother than I expected. Jenny from HR was super responsive and walked me through everything step by step, contract signing, documents etc. The platform UI is clean and easy to use. As someone working remotely for a US company while living in Germany, having WorkMotion handle all the compliance and legal stuff is a real relief. Everything from time tracking to sick leave requests lives in one place, which saves a lot of hassle.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Honestly, it’s hard to find any real downsides. The applied conversion rate is a bit higher than I expected, so when converting from USD to EUR I end up with slightly less than anticipated. That’s probably the only thing I’d mention.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Living in Germany while working remotely for a US-based company comes with a lot of legal complexity: work permits, German employment law, tax compliance and social insurance. WorkMotion takes care of all of that as the employer of record, so I don’t have to manage it myself, and my US employer doesn’t need to set up a German legal entity. So it just works.

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

What I like most about WorkMotion is that the platform is very easy to navigate day-to-day. Finding documents, contracts, payroll information, and requests is straightforward, and everything is centralized in one place, which makes the workflow more organized.
The onboarding process was clear and well-structured, with good communication throughout each step. Whenever I needed support, the team was responsive and helpful. The platform has also been reliable in my experience, with no major issues or delays when handling important processes.
Another thing I appreciate is how WorkMotion simplifies international employment and compliance processes, which would normally be much more complex to manage manually. Overall, it saves time and makes remote work with a global company much easier.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

One thing that could be improved is having more self-service features and clearer tracking for ongoing requests or processes. Sometimes certain topics are handled through email, and it could be more efficient if more of these processes were automated and managed directly within the platform, with clearer status updates and visibility.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkMotion enabled me to continue working for the same company I was previously employed by in Spain, but now as an employee based in Brazil. They simplified the international hiring and compliance process, which made the transition much easier for both the company and me. Having the contracts, payments, and documentation managed through one platform also helps keep everything more organized.

I like that an overview of my data is shown on the right (salary, time off, etc.), and that it’s easy and intuitive to log my hours or request time off. I also appreciate the added AI tools, such as reading receipts and automatically filling in the expense information for me.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

A live chat feature would be really helpful. It would also be nice to receive a notification a day or two before a public holiday; I often forget, and a reminder would be appreciated. Other than that, everything feels very intuitive in my opinion.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workmotion is keeping track of all my information as an employee - contract, documents, payslips, expenses, time off. It's good to have everything centralized in just one place and not to have to log in into different platforms to access this information - not only for me, but for my employer as well.

I’ve had a positive experience using WorkMotion for remote onboarding and employment administration. The platform keeps all the important documents and onboarding steps in one place, which made the overall process easier to manage and follow. I like the personalized treatment per country. For example Workmotion contacts me about cases which are very specific to the country I am working in, and executes all these special rules and labor law shenanigans in a very clear and convenient way.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Log in process is cumbersome. One-time password is required in every login and there is no way to have an open session.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to WorkMotion, I can work for the company in one country while living in another EU country, where my employer doesn't have a branch. I can benefit from national regulations of the country I am living in and pay taxes there without being worried about tax policies in the country where my company is. WorkMotion makes working while traveling and living in different countries very easy.

It seems to me that WorkMotion is a quite agile platform and they connect companies with employees worldwide, which I consider a very good strategy. Also, I really like to check my pay stubs there, and I use the expense management system a lot because I have to submit invoices. What I use I really like. I must also say that the initial setup was relatively easy for me. As for recommending it, I think I would give it a 10.

At the moment, I don't find any major issues; overall, it's a good platform.

The platform offers a solid solution for managing international hiring and compliance, making it much easier to onboard remote employees across different countries. Its features are well-designed and effective, especially when it comes to simplifying payroll and legal processes. While there’s a bit of a learning curve in the beginning, once you get the hang of it, everything runs smoothly. The only area for improvement would be customer support, which could be more responsive. Despite that, it’s been a valuable tool for streamlining our global HR operations.

I use WorkMotion for work payroll and leaves, and it really helps me organize my leaves and manage my payroll efficiently. I like the leave application UI because it's easy to track back the leaves I applied and understand what they were for. The initial setup was very easy, and I appreciate how efficiently my personal information was handled. Plus, raising tickets is quick.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

I dislike having to apply for one and a half days off for a 12-hour schedule, as the system is set up for an 8-hour schedule which is considered a day off.

WorkMotion helps me organize my leaves and manage my payroll efficiently. The leave application UI is easy, allowing me to track back the leaves applied and for what reason.

While still very new and appreciated as an update, the opportunity to have a medical welfare plan isn't currently working well or integrated in my country, with limited benefits supported, and local businesses not very connected to the system

•	AI & Smart Features: I really appreciate the smart compliance checks in the portal—for example, when uploading local documents, the platform automatically guides you on what is required for your specific country, minimizing errors right from the start.

While the platform itself is high-performing, I would love to see deeper integrations with third-party local benefit providers or standard communication tools (like Slack notifications for payroll availability). Right now, I rely mostly on email notifications, which work fine, but direct integrations would streamline my daily workflow even more.

WorkMotion solves the massive problem of compliant international employment. Thanks to their setup, a company like trbo can easily employ talent like me without having to open a local legal entity.
The "ROI" or value for me as an employee is massive: I get a 100% legally secure, local contract with all social security and tax contributions handled automatically, while getting to work for an amazing company abroad. It delivers absolute peace of mind.

The support team is what stands out the most. They are always helpful, quick to respond, and genuinely try their best to solve any problem I bring to them.

Honestly not much. The only small thing I would mention is that the platform's user experience feels a bit less modern compared to some competitors like Deel. It's still functional and you can find what you need, but there is room to polish the UI.

It lets me work for a company based in another country without any of the usual complications. My contract, payroll, and all the local employment stuff is handled through WorkMotion, so I can just focus on my job.

The entire process went very quickly and was simplified in all phases, from the first contact with Maria (WorkMotion) to the conclusion of my employment contract. As a new employee of the commissioned company, I found that the communication between the company, WorkMotion, and me always went smoothly, so everything went off without a hitch.

Have nothing against writing about WorkMotion. Everything was perfect!

I use WorkMotion for daily check-ins, managing expenses, leave requests, and creating support tickets, and I love how it helps me centralize and streamline key administrative and HR processes. It ensures transparency and efficiency in tracking my working status, handling expenses, and managing leave. The simplicity in communication and having everything in one place really stands out to me, making things clear, structured, and easy to manage and understand. The initial setup was also relatively straightforward and easy to follow. I'm very satisfied with the platform and would definitely recommend it.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Usually everything is going smoothly, but some unspecific situations can be an issue. It happened 2 times that the salary was not paid the same day because the wrong bank account for foreign payments was used. Although everything was solved very fast in communication with me, it was accidental - both bank accounts are present. You cannot pay local valuta salary using the bank account for euro payments, and unfortunately, there is nothing I can suggest for improving that kind of issue.

I like that WorkMotion is easy to use and human friendly. It makes my work easy because I don't need to notify my manager about specific dates for time off. I get answers within one or two days. For example, whenever I have questions about how things work from a legal perspective, like being employed in Germany or about my fixed-term contract, they quickly provide replies and clarifications. Whenever there are issues with the product itself, they respond very quickly and clarify how to use their features better. Also, the initial setup was quite easy for me. I just received a link, filled in my profile, and everything started working.

The only thing is that WorkMotion doesn't provide people in Germany with permanent contracts. And so I cannot be employed under a permanent contract, unfortunately, here. While some other competitors, other employer record companies, do provide permanent contracts.

I find it easy to check the history of my submissions, all available in one portal, which is better than my experience with internal HR departments. The initial setup was quite easy with an efficient and responsive helpdesk.

I see my submitted working hours but I do not get a summary report. To explain, if I enter that I have worked 9 hours on Monday, 7 hours on Tuesday, etc. I have to manually add the working hours to understand if I have worked overtime or not enough hours in any given month. The log-in process is annoying. It is not User/Password based but I have to request a sign-in code or sign-in email. Our email has Spam filters and I typically have to wait 3-5 minutes to receive the sign-in code.

I like that WorkMotion works well and that payments are punctual. I find the support really excellent, which helps me organize my life better. WorkMotion managed to transfer my severance pay from the company destination to the pension fund, an operation that is not simple. Furthermore, the initial setup was very simple.

The reimbursement of expenses is too slow, it should always be the month following the request. It takes too long, I have to make the submission by the 2nd of the month and I will get it back the following month, so it usually takes about 2 months to get a reimbursement, and if the expense is large, as often happens, then it's stressful not to have that money for 2 months.

It would be helpful to have more information on special edge cases, such as business trips, along with clearer guidance on how these situations show up in payroll. For instance, in the portal I can’t find a per-day breakdown of the meal allowance, while on my payroll I only see the final total for the month.

I also sometimes miss having support in my native language (Slovak). I often have to translate my questions or legislative topics into English, and then they need to be translated again for the Slovak accountant back into Slovak. That extra back-and-forth doesn’t feel ideal, although I assume this is a limitation with other platforms as well.

What stands out most about WorkMotion is that they’re solving a real global problem, rather than building yet another generic HR tool. Their focus on helping companies hire talent internationally—while taking care of compliance, payroll, and the surrounding legal complexity—makes the product feel genuinely meaningful and technically challenging.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

One thing I’ve noticed from employee feedback is that, as a fast-growing company, WorkMotion still seems to face some scaling challenges—especially around internal communication and overall process maturity. That said, this also feels fairly common among high-growth international startups.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me personally, the benefit is straightforward: I can work for an international company and reliably receive my salary, benefits, and employment contract in a compliant way, without the company needing to set up a local entity in my country.

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I appreciate WorkMotion because it allows me to be hired by a company outside of my country. The ability to hire talent without dealing with country restrictions is a huge plus. It's very easy to use, and the support team is very responsive and easy to get in touch with when needed. Submitting expenses is very easy, and I like that the team always notifies me via email when there are changes in legislation related to taxes or other topics. It's a great choice overall.

Sometimes the reimbursements of expenses take longer than expected.

WorkMotion lets me be hired by companies outside my country, overcoming country restrictions. It's easy to use and submitting expenses is simple. Their team provides support and keeps me updated on legislation changes.

having access to invoices and employee data

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

1. very hard to obtain the breakdown of calculations, sometime I've discovered errors and was very hard to track it down. Usually I'm just given a link or general info if I ask for a breakdown of an amount 
2. funding invoice is issued before the settlement which is hard for me to track things, I would like to close the settlement for previous month and then review the funding for next month  
3. tickets are closed without me confirming that I have no more questions

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

keeping up with local legislation requirements as we are a global company and it's hard to monitor all the changes and requirements

the platform is simple and very straightforward.
Filling in Timesheets has never been easier and so fast.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

the contract can only be 18 months long but this is rather die to german legislations and no to do with workmotion itself

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

my real employer is based in another country, in belgium, while I am living in Germany. So Workmotion made it possible that I can have a contract in the country where I am living.

The platform is very complete and the support team makes things easier and more practical for everyday use.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Being a platform that extends geographically, it is difficult to cover all the processes of all the companies in one place. But they are also always sending surveys to learn about the processes and suggested improvements.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had to make changes to be able to manage my personal documentation more effectively. They always solved my problems.
