"Best Automation Tool: Simple effective and really user-friendly"
What do you like best about Tines?

What I like best about Tines is their incredible support team. They are always fast, helpful, and go above and beyond—at one point I even had a Zoom call with them to solve a specific issue. That level of personalized support really enhanced my experience with the tool. When I first started, I interacted with the support team almost daily, and they consistently provided quick, accurate solutions while also making sure I understood the reasoning behind them.

Another huge advantage of Tines is how much you can accomplish with minimal technical knowledge. Even though I have a computer science background, I find Tines to be much simpler and more effective than other tools I’ve used. It makes automating complex workflows straightforward and accessible, regardless of your skill level.

On top of that, Tines keeps getting better. They’ve integrated AI, which has significantly expanded what you can achieve with the platform. The team is constantly improving the product and rolling out new features, which makes it feel like you’re always working with a cutting-edge tool. This constant innovation, combined with its simplicity and powerful automation capabilities, is why Tines has become one of my absolute favorite platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines?

One of the things I dislike about Tines is that when working with run script events, I really miss having a more advanced integrated development environment (IDE). I understand that Tines is not intended to function as a traditional development tool, but having a more robust script editor would be very helpful when building more complex workflows. Features like autocomplete, more advanced syntax highlighting, or better error handling could significantly enhance the experience of writing and debugging code directly within the platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive platform will have you automating in no time at all"
What do you like best about Tines?

Its hard to say what I like best. Overall I find the platform to be very intuitive and easy to use. Implementation from start to finish requires little prior knowledge of API integrations and the ability to quickly stand up a workflow is a plus. Using out of the box integrations and quickly onboarding your own will take you from 0-100 fast. The platform continues to improve and add value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines?

There are offerings that arent useful to us, like cases, but mostly because we have other tools that perform in that space already. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Invaluable for our organization"
What do you like best about Tines?

Tines has been an invaluable asset to our team, and their support truly sets them apart. We consistently receive exceptional help from their support team, who always make time to address our questions and challenges. Beyond just troubleshooting, they're proactive in coming up with innovative ideas for new automation workflows that significantly boost our efficiency. It's truly a reliable platform that we've come to depend on for critical operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines?

While there's certainly a learning curve to mastering the system, Tines' incredibly helpful support team makes that process much smoother and more manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automation with Tines is a game changer for our company Attestra"
What do you like best about Tines?

The ease of use of Tines, the documentation, the extensive functions librairy and the existing examples already on the website and available in the application are really helpful to leverage Tines quickly and efficently. The customer support is quick, efficient and useful if you hit a wall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines?

The pricing model is a little bit hard to understand and hard to justify for a small business like us. We need to focus on implementing high value, frequent uses cases to prove the ROI is meaningful. On the plus side, the integration of a way to calculate the time saved per story or action is really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from John O'Connor of Tines

Thank you so much for your review Matthew, delighted you are getting such value from Tines.

In terms of the Community Edition limit, there are currently no plans to reduce the number of playbooks to 1, we love seeing the value that users can extract from Tines using our free version and we hope to continue this for the forseeable future.

"Fun and Powerful Automation Tool that Keeps Suprising Me"
What do you like best about Tines?

Tines has so many great features, and if I were to dive into each one, this review would be pages long. Instead I'll just highlight what I appreciate about Tines the most: The ease of use, implementation, and integration. Tines has made it as easy as possible to create powerful automations that easily connect to other applications via API with little to no coding experience, which is truly remarkable. Also, the customer support has been nothing short of amazing. They have helped us along the way since the beginning, and have been extremely responsive, helpful, and kind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines?

The only thing about Tines that can sometimes be an issue is how young the platform is. Sometimes it can be obvious that Tines is a fast-growing and young automation software because some expected features can be missing, big updates might pushed out with big changes, and features/functionalities can be a little buggy. This is a very small critique and will be fixed if Tines keeps moving in the direction it's going. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Value of Tines after a year"
What do you like best about Tines?

I love the no code features such as the Automatic mode for event transformation actions. The Automatic mode uses genAI to generate the Python code to slice and dice upstream data or data saved to a Tines Resource. Another reason is ease of implementation. A security analyst can create Tines workflows without the need a Comp Sci degree or a high level of proficiency in coding. In a timely manner, an analyst can create robust workflows and applications using Tines pages to block IOCs in our entire security stack using one webform or ingesting IOCs via a webhook. In addition, Tines workflows manage the entire IOC lifecycle, so Tines can sunset stale IOCs without cyber teams keeping track of IOCs. Another reason why I love Tines is the ease of integration. Tines possesses an ever-growing library of pre-built stories and vendor templates, that an analyst can use to quickly ingest data into a Tines workflow from any vendor that has a REST API.

Tines' onboarding experience, technical support and customer success teams are the best. Any roadblocks or technical issues were addressed in a timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines?

After a year, I have not come across something I could not accomplish in Tines.

From IOC blocking to EDR licensing reports for management, Tines is able to do it all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to integrate, enhanced often, and a blast to use!"
What do you like best about Tines?

Tines is constantly being enhanced to make it easier to integrate with tools, and create Stories. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines?

Still could use better function usage examples in the documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Experience with Tines in Cybersecurity Operations"
What do you like best about Tines?

Tines allows us to build powerful automation workflows without writing code, which significantly speeds up our response times. The interface is clean and intuitive, making it easy to connect tools like SIEMs, ticketing systems, and threat intel feeds. I especially appreciate the flexibility and reliability meven complex workflows run smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines?

There’s a slight learning curve when creating advanced workflows, especially for users new to automation. Also, while the no-code approach is great, some integrations require API knowledge, which might be challenging for non-technical users. However, the documentation and support are quite helpful. "Tines Review"
What do you like best about Tines?

The flexibility and approachability of the platform are the two biggest draws for me as a user. It was easy to stand up and hook into with external programs. The platform allowed me to not only make workflows with very little coding background, but allows me to see how it would work from a raw code perspective. Our Customer Success Manager, Sales Engineer, and the support team are nothing but helpful. Being able to see my feature requests become implemented definitely helps in my day to day use of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tines?

The only negative thing I can say isn't really about Tines, but the lack of APIs or functions of other platforms to be able to hook them into Tines for automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
