## Timing Reviews
  ### 1. Effortless time tracking that works quietly in the background.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Timing?**

There’s no need to remember to start or stop a timer — Timing starts automatically when I begin working and quietly keeps track in the background. The daily summary shows where my time went and includes a helpful productivity score. I also like the quick keyboard shortcuts to start or pause tracking when needed.

**What do you dislike about Timing?**

Honestly I haven’t found a single downside so far. The interface is intuitive, and the design is clearly built for professionals who want reliable, personal time tracking without the complexity of larger platforms.

**What problems is Timing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of my biggest challenges was knowing where my time really went each day — Timing gave me that clarity. Now I can see exactly how much time I spend on emails, coordination, reporting, academic support, and where I’m most productive. The exportable reports are a great support for reviews and monthly check-ins.

  ### 2. A solid auto- time tracking solution with helpful keyword grouping

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Timing?**

Automatic window tracking combined with project tracking made this an invaluable tool in timesheet management for a very varied day. Other tools are available to do significant parts of what Timing does, but the "killer feature" for timing was allocating "keywords" to projects and letting their AI-powered engine work out which of my many windows were related to a task at hand.

**What do you dislike about Timing?**

Two things I felt that were missing - 1st party integration with other project management tools is a bit weak, and you have to get the most expensive "team" plan to get API access (which I ended up doing so I could roll my own integration), despite not needing any of the team/most premium features.

**What problems is Timing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping accurate daily timesheets of a complex workload that involves juggling multiple projects. Ultimately what took me a good 2.5 hours per week was reduced to 15 minutes per week with Timing's collection engine and a home-grown integration with a 3rd party project management/timesheet system..

  ### 3. This app changed my life!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Timing?**

This is the perfect app to use if you're a chronic context-switching consultant and don't want to be losing money by ways of not tracking billable hours. The app does it all for you and presents highly intuitive interfaces to categorize time spent based on what app you were using/website you were on, and report on it easily as well. The UX is par excellent!

**What do you dislike about Timing?**

What I dislike about this app is that there is nothing to dislike about this app(!)
The learning curve might be a tad steep given the sheer capabilities of the tool and the features they keep adding. But if you're able to master them, you save even more time in the long run.

**Recommendations to others considering Timing:**

GET IT NOW! This app can be transformational for your billing and time tracking. Particularly useful for compulsive context switchers. Helps you grab those billable hours that fall through the cracks.

**What problems is Timing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jumping between emails and requests from 10-15 clients in a day, it was almost impossible to keep track of how much time was spent on each client's request. This app was a complete and total game changer.
It also lets me run quick reports on total utilization to bill clients, or offer other clients a status of where their time consumption stands at. Invoicing is a breeze!
I also recently discovered a shortcut for auto-creating rules to sort tasks in projects, which has made it even easier to have to be less hands on with time tracking. Falling in love with this app all over again!

  ### 4. Great automatic time tracker

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Timing?**

It automates your time tracking on your computer, without needing to start and stop timers. You can also integrate into your other devices if you want to track your time when you are outside of the office.

**What do you dislike about Timing?**

It can be a little overwhelming and there is a lot of data available to see about your time. It takes some getting used to and setting it up how you want it.

**Recommendations to others considering Timing:**

If you are looking to become more productive, tracking your time and seeing where you can get better is a great way. Timing can help without you having to think about it and can launch automatically on login.

**What problems is Timing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to see a view of how I am staying on track and when I am having trouble getting sidetracked. It shows views for daily, weekly, etc..

  ### 5. Best time tracking software available

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin L. | Director of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Timing?**

Timing tracks and organizes your activities in as much, or as little detail as you like.

**What do you dislike about Timing?**

There really isn't much that I don't like. They continue to fix bugs and make improvements.

**Recommendations to others considering Timing:**

Spend one week getting comfortable with and you'll never have to look back. You'll get great reports and insights from then on.

**What problems is Timing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Timing allows me to understand how I spend my time and how productive I am (because my activity is scored based on which category it falls into). When I'm doing consulting work I'm able to justify my time down to the second for clients.
