**What do you like best about Ontop?**

I really appreciate that Ontop is built with a LatAm first approach. Even though our company is headquartered in the United States, having a large back office in LatAm makes it crucial for us to leverage local talent without geographic constraints. Ontop does a great job of integrating best practices from other payroll processing groups to cater to the LatAm market effectively. It also simplifies the process of paying contractors from various countries, particularly in Latin America, and ensures they can be paid in their local currency or methods they can easily utilize. This aspect of Ontop helps us monetize skillsets from talent firms that are bilingual in English and Spanish.

**What do you dislike about Ontop?**

It's a little bit clunky, and it seems to require some ongoing manual processing for payroll or vendor payment runs. Multiple steps. Contracts are generally okay, but could be better or more intuitive. Like, contract templates could be more intuitive.

**What problems is Ontop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ontop helps us pay contractors worldwide, especially in Latin America, in local currency. It simplifies payments by integrating with various systems, letting us easily monetize their skills.

**What do you like best about Ontop?**

I like the interest-earning account, the card for spending the money, and the multi-currency account option (currently in development).

**What do you dislike about Ontop?**

I currently receive payments through OnTop, and several colleagues in my company also use the platform. I wanted to share a piece of feedback that has been discussed internally among many of us and that I have also seen mentioned online.

Many of us live in different countries and often request transfers outside of your business hours. In these cases, the transfer status shows as “sent”, but the funds take a long time to reach the destination, even when the transfer is in the same currency. I understand the longer timeframe indicated in the app, however there is a clear inconsistency: when a transfer is requested during your business hours, it frequently arrives the same day.

In fact, it is common for a transfer requested during business hours to arrive before another one that was requested earlier but outside business hours. This gives the impression that transfers initiated outside business hours are not being properly processed or queued, and sometimes they only move forward after we contact support to ask for the transfer to be completed.

Because of this behavior, many users end up reporting the issue to the companies that hire us rather than directly to OnTop. As a result, companies may interpret the delays as a payroll reliability problem and decide to move to other providers. In my company, for example, most people have already switched to another platform, and I was one of the few who continued using OnTop.

I believe this is something that could likely be improved through better automation or handling of off-hours transfer requests. Addressing this would significantly improve user confidence and help retain and attract clients.

I am sharing this feedback constructively because the platform is useful overall, but this specific issue has a real impact on user trust and on companies’ decisions to continue using the service.

**What problems is Ontop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They provide a global payroll solution that allows me to receive payments from a foreign company in a structured and compliant way, without needing to manage international contracts or complex banking arrangements myself. It also simplifies currency handling and access to funds, since I can receive, hold, and spend the money directly through the platform, including using the card and the account features.

I like that it is really easy to send your money to your bank account, also they have the option for you to use their card and also they have a program called Reserve where you get discounts.

**What do you like best about Ontop?**

I appreciate the flexibility Ontop offers, especially with the 'Reserve' plan that gives me 50% lower payout fees on fixed fees when transferring money. Using the Ontop card for everyday purchases and expenses allows me to earn up to 10% cashback, which was extremely valuable during a recent trip to Dubai where I earned almost $50 in just three days on regular expenses like meals and Uber rides. I might earn up to $200 more per month using the services and benefits they offer. Also, the onboarding experience is extremely intuitive and quick, allowing me to get started in less than a couple of hours.

It's all great.

I use Ontop to get my payroll, make online purchases, and send money transfers to crypto accounts. I find it great that I can pay for something fast with the card and there's no need to make transfers out of the platform. I get my payroll there on time every month. I really like the card services and the support they offer. The card is useful for almost every online purchase I've tried, like paying for Uber, Rappi, and Steam, all without needing to move funds out of Ontop. Plus, the support is fast and reliable. The setup was super easy too.

What I love most is the flexibility with my funds. Unlike other platforms that force you to withdraw immediately with bad exchange rates, Ontop allows me to keep my balance in USD and spend it directly using their global Visa card. It feels like a real bank account for remote workers. The transfers are instant, and the app is very user-friendly. It really helps me manage my income better and avoid losing money on fees.

The digital card works perfectly instantly, but the delivery of the new physical card is taking a bit longer than expected to arrive at my specific location in Colombia.

**What do you like best about Ontop?**

I like how easy it is to use my money with Ontop. The ability to transfer money between users helps me stay more connected with my friends. Additionally, the ease of moving my money in different currencies and having a physical/digital card is really useful, especially when I travel. The initial setup was quite simple; just follow the steps to verify yourself and once approved, everything starts working wonderfully.

**What do you dislike about Ontop?**

The exchange rate used by Ontop is not at all "fair" or comparable to other similar platforms. Sometimes the card tends to be declined at some establishments.

Ontop allows me to receive money regardless of my location, makes it easy to move my money in different currencies, and provides a useful card for traveling. Additionally, I can transfer money between users, which helps me stay in touch with friends.

**What do you like best about Ontop?**

The best thing about Ontop is the “Your Bills, Your Rules” feature. It allows you to pay for services, credit cards, and other bills directly with the funds in your account. As a contractor based in Argentina, I find this tool especially useful because I don't need to exchange currencies. It also has a prompt response when you need assistance.

**What do you dislike about Ontop?**

Sometimes it’s not that easy to use the “Your Bills, Your Rules” feature. You first have to register the service you want to pay for, but there’s no “Pay Now” button, there's just an option to edit the name of the payment. The process isn’t very intuitive. It usually takes a few tries for me to complete a payment. For example, if I want to pay in advance, the bill doesn’t appear, and when browsing the list of registered services, there’s no clear “Pay” option.

I use it to pay my bills without needing to exchange currencies; there are no fees for paying bills which is great.

I love using Ontop to receive payments for my work as a contractor. I am able to transfer it seamlessly to my local bank account without any issues. I've faced no problems with any transfers despite using it for three years, and upon initiating a transfer, I receive the money in my bank account instantaneously. It's nice to be able to track my payment status within the app, and the customer support is great. The setup was very easy with clear steps, and the support team was very helpful.

I love being able to receive money from abroad with Ontop. I also know that it allows companies to hire people abroad through Ontop, which is great. I like that it offers various benefits for workers, such as cashback and promotions. The card and the app are easy to use, which makes things much easier, and I always receive payments on time. The initial setup was very easy and I would definitely recommend it to a friend or colleague, I give it a 10.

Well, it still doesn't work for Apple Wallet and there's no way to schedule transfers.

I can receive payments from abroad, use a card for my funds and payments. Ontop makes it easy to hire staff abroad and offers benefits like cashback, discounts among others. The card and the app are easy and reliable for timely payments.

I use Ontop to receive monthly payments from my company in the United States, and I also make use of the card they offer. I value the ease that Ontop provides for managing my work compensation, along with the possibility of obtaining cashback benefits from transactions. I love how modern and the new ideas that Ontop introduces; these features reinforce my interest in the service. Additionally, the processing of transfers is exceptionally fast, usually arriving one or two days earlier than promised, which regularly exceeds my expectations. Also, the initial setup was very simple for me as a worker: I just had to identify myself, provide my information and some documents, which made the process quite efficient.

The card could have more benefits. Additionally, the cashback process does not satisfy me, as it usually has to be claimed, which makes me waste time.

I also feel that the conditions of the plan are not clear, and the advantages I previously had have diminished. Transfers and card payments are limited for some merchants. Additionally, cashback is only available for certain apps or merchants, which is limiting. I would like the cards to be able to link with Apple Pay, and for savings with returns to be allowed. Currently, some merchants present errors when trying to make payments.

Receiving the card took too long. And when I did, I tried to pay with it but I had a lot of issues. For example, I paid something using the fisical card, the payment didn´t go through (the place where I was paying showed me the machine) but the money was discounted from my account. Many things don't work or they are missing basic features. It's a startup so maybe the priorities and resources are scarce.
There were bugs with the token that persisted many months. I can't use the digital card for Netflix and raised the ticket 2 years now, and during a vacations I couldn't buy in Amazon. 
In general the service is barely usable, but not reliable, something that you would want for an app managing your money.

**What do you like best about Ontop?**

It's a reliable product for remote workers to receive their payments and withdraw it for any account you want. Keep your USD safe or use it with your Ontop Card if you want, it offers you a really smooth experience overall

**What do you dislike about Ontop?**

I miss Apple Pay! When Ontop adds support for Apple Pay, I would starting using the card more.

Receiving payments from a job elsewhere in the World really helps me.

- Platform is easy to use , you can set up a payment method and transfer it in couple of minutes!
- Crypto transactions are the best!

**What do you dislike about Ontop?**

Not my case, but ive herad sometimes downtime using the card, so for my use i only withdraw all my money to my account via crypto

**What problems is Ontop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crypto transactions has low fees, are almost intantly i can received my money in 15 minutes from Ontop -> My bank account via a third party crypto platform
