"Notion’s Flexible All-in-One Hub That Streamlines Work and Personal Productivity"
What do you like best about Notion?

What I like best about Notion is how flexible and all-in-one it is. I use it daily for both work and personal productivity, and it has completely replaced multiple tools I used before (notes apps, task managers, docs, and even simple databases).

The drag-and-drop interface is incredibly intuitive, which makes organizing information fast and actually enjoyable. I can quickly build pages, dashboards, and workflows without needing any technical skills. For work, I use it to manage projects, track tasks, and collaborate with others in a clean, structured way. For personal use, I rely on it for journaling, habit tracking, and organizing ideas.

One of the most helpful features is the database system—it allows me to create custom views (tables, boards, calendars) that adapt perfectly to what I need. This has significantly improved my workflow because everything is centralized and easy to access, saving me hours every week.

An unexpected benefit is how customizable and aesthetic it can be. Designing pages that are both functional and visually pleasing actually motivates me to stay consistent and organized.

Overall, Notion makes it easy to stay on top of everything in one place, and I would 10/10 recommend it to anyone looking to streamline both their work and personal life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

While I’ve had a very positive experience overall, there are a few downsides to Notion. The biggest one is performance—when pages get very large or database-heavy, things can slow down a bit, especially on mobile. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can interrupt the otherwise smooth experience.

Another limitation is that the offline functionality is still not ideal. Since Notion relies heavily on being online, it can be frustrating when you need access to your content without a stable internet connection.

There’s also a bit of a learning curve at the beginning. Because it’s so flexible, it can feel overwhelming to set up your system the “right” way, especially if you’re new. However, once you get past that initial phase, it becomes much easier and more intuitive.

That said, these are relatively minor compared to the overall value Notion provides, and they haven’t stopped me from using it every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Notion’s Flexible, All-in-One Workspace That Saves Time"
What do you like best about Notion?

What I think I will like most about Notion is its flexibility. It can be used for note-taking, task management, database creation, and even project management all in one place, which will save me a lot of time jumping between applications. The block-based structure allows for great customization of pages to exactly how you want them, and the templates are great for getting started with something right away. I think I will also like the AI tools, as they will assist with summarizing notes, writing content, and more. Easy to integrate with google and implement many features and I use 24/7. What do you dislike about Notion?

Performance can sometimes be slow with large pages or databases, and some advanced features (like AI or team collaboration tools) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Notion as a Powerful “Second Brain” for Databases, Projects, and Notes"
What do you like best about Notion?

What I like best about Notion is how it combines powerful databases, note-taking, and project management into one fully customizable system. I regularly use relational databases to connect tasks, content pipelines, and long-term goals, which gives me both a high-level overview and detailed control without needing multiple apps. This alone has streamlined my workflow more than any other tool I’ve used.

The performance has been reliable, even as my workspace has grown more complex with multiple dashboards, linked databases, and embedded content. I can manage large amounts of information without noticeable slowdowns, and everything stays organized and accessible when I need it. The drag-and-drop functionality and quick editing tools also make it easy to adjust systems on the fly, saving me hours each week.

From a value standpoint, Notion delivers a strong return on investment. Instead of paying for separate tools for notes, task management, and knowledge organization, I can do everything in one platform. The time saved from having a centralized system and reusable templates directly translates into increased productivity and better execution across my projects.

Getting started with Notion was smoother than expected. The templates, tutorials, and community resources made onboarding easy, and I was able to build out functional systems quickly. As I’ve grown more advanced, I’ve appreciated how scalable the platform is—it works just as well for simple notes as it does for complex workflows.

The AI features have also added real value. I use them to help draft content, summarize notes, and organize ideas faster, which reduces mental load and speeds up my creative process. It feels like having an assistant built directly into my workspace.

Another standout aspect is integration. I frequently use Notion alongside tools like Google Drive, embedding documents directly into my pages so everything stays centralized. This reduces context-switching and keeps my workflow efficient.

Overall, Notion has become more than just a productivity tool—it functions as a true “second brain” that supports both my creative and operational work at scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

What I dislike about Notion is that while it’s incredibly powerful, there’s definitely a learning curve when building more advanced systems. Setting up relational databases, automations, and structured workflows can take time to fully understand, especially for new users.

Performance can also slow down slightly when working with very large databases or heavily loaded pages with multiple embeds and linked views. While it’s not a dealbreaker, it’s something I’ve noticed as my workspace has grown more complex.

Another limitation is offline functionality. Notion works best when connected, and the offline experience isn’t as reliable as I’d like, which can be inconvenient if I need to access or update information without internet access.

I also wish integrations were a bit deeper and more seamless across all tools. While embedding works well, more advanced native integrations or automations would make workflows even more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visually Appealing, Flexible, and Great for Team Documentation"
What do you like best about Notion?

Notion is very visually appealing and easy to use, which makes it great for organizing information in a clear and structured way. It’s especially helpful for creating one-pagers, documentation, and internal resources that are both functional and easy to navigate. The flexibility to customize pages, embed different types of content, and collaborate with team members in real time makes it a very versatile tool for both individual and team workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

Some features require a level of technical understanding that isn’t very intuitive, especially when it comes to more advanced setups or customizations. It can feel a bit like coding at times, which makes it less accessible for users who are looking for simpler, more straightforward solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Customizable Powerhouse with a Learning Curve"
What do you like best about Notion?

I use Notion for general knowledge storage and searching, meeting notes, and task management. It makes referencing meeting notes easier and serves as a searchable memory bank, which is way better than flipping through pages. I really like that it's very customizable and that the latest LLMs are included. I don’t have to have subscriptions to half a dozen LLMs because with just one Notion subscription, I’m all set. Although some features are missing, as I'm not a programmer, I don't need the coding stuff anyway. I used to rely on a paper tablet for notes, but now I use Notion and AI meetings instead. Even though there's a learning curve because of how customizable it is, I still feel it's great. I've even recommended it to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

It seems very complicated. It's hard to know exactly what Notion can do. I would like also the ability to edit Excel files with Notion using the LLMs. The file formats are limited to really only PDF. The all meetings page seems to not let you reference it. It's hard to ask general questions and have multiple pages referenced. I'd like to be able to reference my whole space, not just specific pages. If you ask generally without specific references, then you get off answers. I connected it to Slack but only using public channels, not the entire history of all conversations, which is very limiting. There was a pretty steep learning curve due to how customizable it is. I still feel like I am just scratching the surface a month in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Notion’s Flexibility and Customization Keep Everything Organized in One Place"
What do you like best about Notion?

What I like best about Notion is its flexibility and customization. It allows me to organise notes, tasks, projects, and documents all in one place, and I can design the workspace exactly how I want using pages, databases, and templates. This makes it easy to keep everything organised and adapt it to my personal workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

One thing I dislike about Notion is that it can feel a bit slow at times, especially when loading large pages or databases. It can also take some time to learn because there are so many customization options, which might feel overwhelming for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Powerful Knowledge Management and Organization Tool"
What do you like best about Notion?

Notion is an extremely flexible tool for organizing information, documentation, and collaboration in one place. The block based structure makes it easy to create pages that combine text, databases, checklists, tables, and embedded content. This flexibility allows teams to build custom workflows for documentation, project management, or knowledge sharing.

I also appreciate how easy it is to organize content with nested pages and linked databases. Collaboration features work smoothly, allowing multiple people to edit and comment in real time. Overall, it provides a very clean and intuitive interface that makes managing internal documentation and knowledge bases much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

While Notion is very flexible, that flexibility can sometimes lead to inconsistent structures if teams don’t define clear organization standards. As workspaces grow, navigating large amounts of content can become more difficult. Performance can also slow down slightly when pages contain very large databases or heavy embedded content. "The ultimate internal knowledge base and operations hub"
What do you like best about Notion?

As an Operations Manager, Notion's flexibility is unmatched. We use it to build our entire internal company knowledge base, employee onboarding wikis, and departmental SOPs. The ability to link databases, embed files, and create a beautiful, centralized hub for cross-functional teams makes keeping the whole company aligned incredibly easy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

When your workspace grows massively, managing permissions across different teams and nested pages can become a huge administrative headache. Also, the global search function sometimes struggles to surface the exact document you need if the workspace isn't strictly organized with tags, and the offline mode is still surprisingly unreliable for a modern app Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Notion Feels Like an Operating System for Life and Work"
What do you like best about Notion?

Notion is a genuine operating system for your life and work. To be fair, it isn't perfect. The learning curve can be steep, and while the new Offline Mode has finally arrived, it’s still in its early "polishing" phase compared to local-first apps like Obsidian. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

Well, because you can build anything, it’s easy to spend hours designing a "perfect" productivity dashboard instead of actually doing the work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Visibility & Smarter Workflow Management"
What do you like best about Notion?

I like that it's flexible and everything lives in one place, so you’re not constantly bouncing between tools. It gives you great visibility, where you can build something that works for you and still roll it up into a team view without duplicating work. It makes collaboration feel much more organized and intentional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notion?

Things can get messy fast without structured page links and connections. There’s definitely some manual upkeep as well to maintain a database up to date. We also already rely on other tools like Slack and our calendars, so some of Notion’s features (like reminders or comments) don’t get used consistently. It can feel duplicative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
