Customer support is also quite reactive. We only had to contact them once but was very efficient. I also like automatic typo highlight. Our team uses API so non-technical people can simply make changes by themselves. I had never used a localisation tool before and had no problems with it. The integrations with Gitlab and Figma are very helpful. **What do you dislike about Lokalise?** Sometimes the Figma plugin doesn't respond very well. It can be very laggy and crash several times. **What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a product, and its interface copy/text needs to be in several languages. The integration with Figma and Gitlab gives me, as a UX Writer, more freedom to write and see how to copy looks in the interface. Other than that, when inviting people to translate for you, they made it very easy for the translators. **What do you dislike about Lokalise?** The SDK uses Realm unfortunately, so we had to implement the SQLite version to at least reduce the binary size for our android application. **What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Lokalise solves having to manage your translations manually. Nonetheless, you can progressively uncover more & more additional features such as tags, glossaries and integrations that would take your translation effort to the next level. My experience with the customer support was also very positive until now. We are using Lokalise now for 3 months and are very happy with it. Our consultants can now manage the translations by their selfs and invite translators to validate the AI translations. **What do you dislike about Lokalise?** That we have to pay extra for 2 factor authentication. Apart from this, I also think the suggestion of numerous automatic translation services usually helps me. **What do you dislike about Lokalise?** The AI translation can definitely be improved. Besides, even though the TM is good and it points the percentage of similarities between different strings, I feel like an automatized suggestion is within reach and it's not implemented yet. **What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's helping me getting my work done faster which is great because I can focus on other stuff and be more productive, generally speaking. There we can check other translations, other translation options, very complete. People tend to be intimidated by lokalize because the front page looks very overwhelming when you log in, but once they get the hang of it there is no issue. Bulk actions are fantastic and save a lot of time. I like the fact that multiple users can be logged in and they don't affect each other's views. In general, ordering translations is easy and turnaround quite rapid which is practical. **What do you dislike about Lokalise?** It is quite challenging when I need to manage large amounts of keys. Sometimes things happen mysteriously and I don't understand why (keys getting archived, etc). Restoring from screenshot is not at all simple. My biggest problem with lokalise is without a doubt the key referencing system. It is way too confusing and error prone. When reviewers go in they often override the linked keys, resulting in keys that are half linked half not linked. Also, I don't know how this happened but I now have keys that display "empty" because the reference key points to another reference key.... and i have to go in and change them manually which is VERY time confusing on a project with 5000+ keys!! Last of all, I tried to bulk link duplicate keys and I didn't realise this but you need to do it language by language instead of by the source language only (what i expected was that any key with the same source language AND same translations would become automatically linked). The problem is, if I need to do it language by language it doesn't work as there are some languages where a word is the same in the source text but different in a target language (for example, the word "language" in english is "langue" in french, so when I duplicated linked the key in french it ended up linking with another key where the source language was "tongue"...) **What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?** It gives us a process to manage the translation of new keys and correcting existing translations in our product ### 23. Some anglicisms should be pointed out, while others do not reflect the reality of how we speak French. The icons and search functions allow you to work on the translation as best you are used to and effectively. There is a great help to translators with the proposals of some well-known translation engines, a high added value because it allows you to be accurate and precise in the decisions to be taken during translations for the choice of the most appropriate words without being trivial or repetitive. **What do you dislike about Lokalise?** The thing I like least about Lokalize is that there is no possibility to create macro functions that automate some repetitive tasks. For example, there might be a function that translates an original word repeated twenty times in one go at once. Or the possibility of understanding the context of the original word to be translated, perhaps with descriptions by the author (for example "on a button", "on the menu") **What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?** The translation into the native language of propositions and texts present in highly useful software allows the diffusion of the use of the software itself towards a much wider audience which does not necessarily have to know the language of the author of the software in question. This is the main business benefit of using translation systems like Lokalize. The benefit of using it lies in the extreme ease of use and in the suggestions of the automatic translations. ### 50.
