**What do you like best about BlueSnap?**

The best part for me is how easily it handles international sales. Instead of me building a complex system for every country, Blusnap does the heavy lifting. It automatically picks the best bank to process a payment so it doesn’t get declined for no reason.

**What do you dislike about BlueSnap?**

The documentation can be a real headache sometimes. It’s often messy or outdated, so you end up doing a lot of trial and error just to get a basic API call working. It’s frustrating when you expect a quick integration but spend hours hunting for the right info.

**What problems is BlueSnap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me , the biggest benefit is the time I save. Because they have “all in one “ features, I don’t have to glue together five different tools to handle fraud, subscription and reporting.

BlueSnap does not yet use 3DS 2.2, which we require for our UK and EU markets and websites
BlueSnap is not a Merchant of Record, so we are unable to use them to expand into the Latin American Markets (e.g., Argentina)

**What problems is BlueSnap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BlueSnap has actually found that we were using the AccountUpdater to the fullest extent, and were losing potential customers and revenue.  This was a HUGE discovery.  It also made us realize how much time and support BlueSnap gives us as clients and merchants, which is invaluable.
Our Account Manager is amazing.  They have answered so many questions, to help us improve our processes.  They are currently trying to help up expand into the LatAm marketplace.

It supports over 100 currencies, 29 languages, and numerous payment methods (credit cards, digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay, and local payments like iDEAL and SEPA).
It offers an advanced API that's easy to integrate with websites, as well as plugins.

Technical support is sometimes slow.
The interface isn't easy for beginners.
The control panel can be somewhat complex for those without technical expertise or a background in e-commerce.

- BlueSnap can accomodate needs across a multi-national company which allows the company to offer standartized approach accross the business.
- The technical support to merchants is fast and of good quality, the team actually digs into one´s issue instead of giving a standart answer.
- The offer of supported payment methods is quite vast.
- Their merchant console is user-friendly and one can extract a variety of reports which is quite useful.

**What do you dislike about BlueSnap?**

- The are restrictions on payouts made in various currencies for the same entity, based on transaction volume. It would be helpful to receive payouts in the same currency as the payment was made, without any limitations on the transaction volume.

**What problems is BlueSnap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With BlueSnap solutions our company has reduced the time spent on processing the payments. Now a big part of the payments received daily are directed to one place - BlueSnap meaning that reconciling payments has become much faster and easier. Besides that, 2/3 of these payments have a receipt issued automatically which turns the process even more efortless.

**What do you like best about BlueSnap?**

BlueSnap just works. The cost is basically just the transaction fees as well, which makes BlueSnap very competitive compared to competitors that charge additional fees, monthly costs, etc. Pair BlueSnap with an inexpensive partner solution for the frontend such as Jotform and you have a very lean, easy to setup, cheap to maintain payment system that gets you into the world of online payments quickly and securely. Customer support chat makes it easy to get questions answered. We have many payment forms and use BlueSnap extensively.

**What do you dislike about BlueSnap?**

BlueSnap is a payment processor. It's not a complete all-in-one solution. This is ok though! That's why you look to see who their partners are and integrate Bluesnap into a partner frontend. My one slight gripe would be that because we work with a partner, we don't have complete API control and that's where some of the more advanced and useful functions we are looking for are. Also, subscriptions can have some interesting behavior such as not being able to change details once the second to last payment takes place. Again, small gripes. Very solid overall.

An inexpensive and easy payment gateway that we can integrate with Jotform to take online payments for a wide variety of things in district.

First of all, the onboarding, ease of implementation, and support are first-class. The product (Armatic) is better than advertised. In today's technology economy, the paradigm is that the software never lives up to the hype. I would say that BlueSnap/Armatic over-delivered in its features, capabilities, and intuitiveness. A refreshing experience.

There isn't anything that BlueSnap doesn't do that we need it to. Of course, we look forward to product development, new features, additional automation, etc. We're confident that the BlueSnap/Armatic team has a robust roadmap for updated functionality and features.

**What problems is BlueSnap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BlueSnap provided additional features that our previous solution did not. All while providing additional features and capabilities that we have found to improve our previous invoicing and collection processes. Armatic reporting was also an improvement from the previous platform's.

Payment button on invoices makes it super easy for clients that prefer e-checks or credit cards.

Initial set up was a bit sticky due to partial foreign ownership of our company.

We don't take credit cards often and used PayPal in the past.  It was really rinky dink.  Payments arrive quickly and the presentation is much more professional.

David, our primary account contact, has been a great & trustworthy colleague during this time - always engaged and responsive at all times. We have also found the support team in Israel to be highly competent and enabling.
Look forward to extending the fruitful partnership with Bluesnap.
We have been a long-time customer of Bluesnap and recently decided to move from a reseller partnership to a PayFac model.

Integration with Chargify/ Maxio for payment methods and for bank authorisation errors
Reporting on non-processing fees is difficult to obtain
Chargebacks process clarity & information after submission
Processing fees for USD transactions as a result of the US cards (resulting in fees being in line with non-USD fees which have an FX fee included)

**What problems is BlueSnap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reducing fees and enabling automatic collections via our subscription & billing management platform. Improving integration with Maxio and Chargify so that we can facilitate ApplePay, GooglePay and other payment methods.

Our working relationship with BlueSnap has been a productive and positive one. Key elements as far as differentiation goes are the level of communication we receive. This includes prompt access to account managers and reviews. The amount of dialogue with the development team, when necessary, as updates or changes to payment integration are concerned is appreciated as well.

Overall, BlueSnap is a professional and competent payment partner.

None so far and we can see ourselves working with BlueSnap for a long time to come, and I don't anticipate there will be any substantial points of friction going forward.

**What problems is BlueSnap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BlueSnap solves a few problems for us. Notably, there is very little downtime - providing a stable payment gateway. Needless to say, that is a critical function of a reliable payment partner. BlueSnap also provides competitive costs and monthly reports that make optimization far easier.

They work with you to make sure you get the most out of their service, they actually have a dialog with you and they make sure you understand what is going on and why, even showing you why and how and it makes a big difference from previous vendors who were so automated i think i only spoke to one of their techs the entire time we were a customer, and that was only during setup.

**What do you dislike about BlueSnap?**

They keep you on your toes about security.  They make sure you are doing what you need to do and keep you updated when they update their requirements, or should I say when the Industry updates it's expectations of vendors.

**What problems is BlueSnap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They process our credit card payments.  It is benefiting us by being cheaper than the previous system while having fewer outages than the previous system by far.  I should go back to the other question and replace the best part of blue snap with how stable they have been compared to their predecessors.

We benefit from the fact that 

Contributions, both single and recurring, can be processed from donors all over the world with a high conversion rate.

Contributions  can be received in a variety of different currencies and most can be settled directly into a number of corresponding bank accounts.

The reports provided allow for substantial data analysis.
 
The data can be easily reconciled to the bank and with our own donor management system

**What do you like best about BlueSnap?**

That you are able to deposit funds into 2 accounts and it directly syncs with Quickbooks. Quickbooks desktop is not ideal to use with it because it syncs through a forced web connector but it still does the job. Quickbooks online is said to work way better. We plan to switchover to QB online but it is not an easy process.

**What do you dislike about BlueSnap?**

It takes over a week to see if someone made a payment and if you have technical questions, it takes quite a while to even receive a response, and often times you have to send a follow-up email because there is no reply. You are also only allotted about 15-30 minutes at a time which is quite rushed. Also, the payment portal invitation does not always send and people have issues receiving it and logging in.

We utilize Bluesnap to allow our unit owners to make payments online instead of sending a check every month.

Everything was ok until 3 weeks ok; since then, there has been complete lack of competence.

They did not send our payouts. Hundreds of thousands for 3 weeks now. They said they did, but when asked for wire confirmation, they could not provide and admited they never tried. Stay away!

Administration of users is simple and streamlined which keeps your team on track, and it has a highly stable track record, only going down once in a few years and by the time we realized that there were issues on Blue Snap's side their IT Dept already had a ticket open

**What do you dislike about BlueSnap?**

This may be something that we did to ourselves but with the way we configured it the system does send many emails alerting all of our administrators every time a password is changed but this is a security feature in my opinion as oppose to a real issue as it lets us double check when we see the alerts.

Blue Snap provides credit card processing through hosted payment fields, which limits our PCI Compliance requirements while delivering the functionality we need.

We are charging accuratly our clients- It is easy to pull reports- Dashboard is friendly.

Chargeback dispute dashboard could be improved.

We integrated few years ago Bluesnap to our Subscription system (ChikPea)-This was challenging but as of today the integration works and we can charge our clients on a timely manner and accurately.

I have no complaints to this point.  The test of a working relationship is the level of support beyond the "honeymoon" phase.  Based on the level of support we are receiving now, optimism is high.

Nothing. Was an awful experience amd would recommend JudoPay who care about their potential clients.

Customer Service, Rude emails, no professional response, can't support or explain to the client. No contact. Had to chase all the time. Last email i got was to suggest i check with my IT team why I hadn't received any responses. Made me feel like they suggested i was lying. Waste of time. I also run a customer service team in a large cooperation which would have benefited from this software so also lost a lead there.

Don't waste your time! Go to judopay of Stripe!

BlueSnap has been pretty good for a payment processor.

We did have an issue with a returned check fee, but we are working it out. It does take time to process checks, but I am imagining most companies do as well. Overall, we are pretty happy.

2. The success rate is high

Our account manager, Dror, is devoted and has been liaising with us for many years now.

**What do you dislike about BlueSnap?**

Initial technical customer support depends on the specific person you get to pick your email. Some are great, but with others, when you see the person name who replied, you can tell that your request would only be handled if you speak with that person over the phone or get to another person.

**What problems is BlueSnap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BlueSnap is our gateway service, enabling us to charge our clients using Credit Cards, PayPal and bank wires. It also handles the monthly recurring payments as well as our affiliate plan.

1. Lack of good technical *developer* guidance, assistance. Good reference docs, but no helpful implementation guides, recommendations for choice among the various technical solutions, etc.
2. Technical support can be great, but if I reach a *certain* support person, I know I will get a very lackluster level support and a miserable experience. It's a bit of a gamble. Also, they all of a sudden stopped supporting through email, and moved to a web system - without letting anyone know, no notifications, and we basically got no responses for 2 weeks until we figured it out.
3. Sandbox doesn't support some basic use cases, like simulating failures adding a credit card, or simulating failures in payments, payment in certain amounts, etc. Information like tests credit card numbers for checking various specific cases (like 3DSecure failures) are not in a central location, but in a different location (for example) from the test credit card numbers uses to simulate invalid credit cards.
4. Extremely annoying MFA implementation, with "secret code emails" being actually sent minutes after attempting to log-in, thus causing a lot of frustration and lack of ability to use the system.
5. Patchwork system, a bit - the anti-fraud system, 3DSecure support, chargeback management - are all through external vendors and their tools are not integrated properly into the Control Panel, not users system etc.
6. Payment errors are not standard, can receive lots of various inputs (because of their many sub-partners). Hard to show anything meaningful to our customers, explaining what to do.
7. Bug where Customer Info cannot be changed after first payment was done via credit, unless a manual support request is made to BlueSnap
8. Problematic invoice generation in its IPN based integration with GreenInvoice

**Recommendations to others considering BlueSnap:**

BlueSnap are a pretty good choice, if you are looking for an economic, flexible and stable solution.

Support for credit card payments, "referential transaction" / merchant-initiated payments based on metered/tiered models. Deep integration into our marketplace.

**What do you like best about BlueSnap?**

The flexibility is the best feature of BlueSnap.  You can have a completely hosted service or simply use them as a gateway and anything in between.  Bluesnap is very accommodating for unique needs and worked with us to change the typical workflow to fit the business requirements.  We leveraged them as a simply gateway.

The reporting could be a little more robust.  We live and die by data so getting timely access to deep data is something we wanted more of.

Understand your specific requirements so you know what features you can leverage from Bluesnap.

We wanted to move away from our existing gateway provider to allow more flexibility on recurring billing and initial transactions.  The biggest benefit was the increase in authorization rates by 20%.

**What do you like best about BlueSnap?**

The solution is working solidly without issues, integration (hosted fields) was fairly simple.
Using the hosted fields solution, you can easily modify the look and feel of your payment form, it is very customizable.
They have a very easy way to test stuff in their staging environment, using test card numbers.
Their subscription service works flawlessly, and recurring payments seem to work just as you would expect.
Their IPN solution is very reliable and the webhook we have on our system is always called.
The money you earn is always transferred on time.
Customer support is responsive and helpful. Their documentation is pretty much very extensive and you should find everything you need to know there pretty easily.

**What do you dislike about BlueSnap?**

Obsolete user interface in their dashboard, very mediocre reports.
It feels like the user interface is stuck in the 2000s, could really improve by much.
Their graphs are almost unusable, and the UX feels really old.
I wish there would be more examples of how to customize the payment form.
There is no way to see data about subscriptions from within their dashboard - in order to see and modify subscriptions, you have to make an API call, unfortunately.

It's not Stripe, but works well enough if Stripe isn't an option in your area

Very few payment solutions work properly in Israel, turned to Bluesnap as one of the only alternatives.

I don't have to worry about billing, sales tax, or PCI compliance. The BlueSnap hosted checkout page takes care of everything for me.

Initially I would have liked the payments to go into my PayPal account, but I came to like the Payoneer account that was the imposed solution.

**Recommendations to others considering BlueSnap:**

If you want a hands-off payment solution, this is a very good option.
There is also an API for tighter integration, but I have no experience with that.

I switched to BlueSnap because they handle all sales tax issues for me, including the complex European VAT requirements. And above all, my customers now have the choice of a wide variety of payment methods, including credit cards, PayPal and Google Pay.

If you are looking for a payment processing company and you will need a lot of support, ensure that you can work within their limited business hours if you are located in the United States.

Our previous provider abruptly stopped processing MasterCard payments. We are now up and running very quickly.

It has integrations with other similar online payment applications, which allows me to keep the general balance of my other accounts through a single application, without having to use each of them separately, its interface is quite easy to use and adapt to it, in a matter of a few minutes I could easily learn to use this tool and take advantage of all its functionalities, the initial configurations are quite simple and easy to carry out compared to other similar applications that require compliance quite complex processes to be able to use the application

**What do you dislike about BlueSnap?**

There are some settings that cannot be made from the customer account, so I had to contact customer service on more than one occasion to help me with this, something a bit absurd in my opinion, since at the end of the account it is still your personal information as a user.

It has been very useful for me to process payments to other businesses or receive payments from my clients through this application, not to mention the fact that it has many other functions that have been useful to me at some point, such as its Control of accounts receivable is very useful to maintain an adequate order on the company's balances.

Bluesnap has very robust reporting that we haven't found with other payment processors. Good reporting is crucial to helping a company understand what's going on. We also are happy with the support that Bluesnap has provided, whether in implementation or online chat support it has been easy and quick to reach someone for help.

No major issues come to mind. We have been very happy with the partnership.

With Bluesnap we are able to provide our customers the ability to make payments by ACH/Electronic check and obviously the more ways to pay means more money that we can collect without having to reach out to the customers. Bluesnap has integrated seamlessly with Zuora which we use for billing. Having a great integration means that processes are automated and this saves us time. Bluesnap really cares about their relationships with their customers and we've found that we've built a solid foundation that can really contribute to the additional work that we may due with Bluesnap in the future.

During our time with BlueSnap, they have provided great service. Responsive, accessible, and proactive are all words I would use to describe BlueSnap. They have gone above and beyond in every interaction we have had with them. We particularly like their proactive mind set in alerting us to industry trends. We want a merchant service who is on top of--as you all know--the ever-changing processing industry and BlueSnap does this well. Oh, and not to mention their impressive lineup of products from account updater for subscription services to developer tools that give you access to APIs. It is rare that a merchant provider reflects what they most want to achieve--excellence to their merchants. 

**What do you dislike about BlueSnap?**

The things we dislike about BlueSnap stem from their recent chargeback management partnership with Chargebacks911. The integration from using BlueSnap's reporting to Chargebacks911's is not as seamless as we would have hoped. We occasionally get errors stating that Chargebacks911 cannot be loaded at this time and to try again later. And although this error is rare, it still has occurred enough to make an impact on us.

We are solving all the standard merchant issues with BlueSnap. Great fraud prevention and a straight-forward reporting system are both benefits to us.

Bluesnap had a fairly easy underwriting process and quickly approved me for processing. They have great customer service as well. Integrations were very easy for our developers to get us setup within our CRM and other tools.

Their Paypal integration did not seem to have much documentation. Transaction reporting is a little bit difficult to figure out initially.

I recommend others to compare BlueSnap to competitors and consider BlueSnap as a great option when it comes to e-commerce. They are also great for international payments,

We had a lot of issues and disliked Stripe. BlueSnap was fantastic for us and fit our exact needs. We wanted a true merchant account and BlueSnap got it for us. No reserve and fees were much better than stripe.

Higher-ish fees, and a required minimum balance (thought it is for refunds). Sometimes the CC statements do not show our business name until the transaction is processed.

Having clients all over the world creates a demand to accept payments from multiple currencies and BlueSnap delivers. Bluesnap has been very responsible and we get to talk to them directly; that means a lot. Also, it's a robust platform with a lot of services it can offer.

Technologically there are just lots of bugs, and feels immature/incomplete. If Stripe is a Tesla, BlueSnap is a Nissan Leaf.

Consider Stripe for payment processing in general; if you need global payouts WorldPay is a good alternative too.

Being able to do international remittances. Globally BlueSnap is one of the best overall platforms.

Bluesnap's team response time, quality of service, as well as the efforts made by their team in order to help are great and professional. 

**What do you dislike about BlueSnap?**

1. Setting up took long time, then even after starting, it took a couple of weeks for BlueSnap to trust us as a merchant.  Till then things were a bit complicated. 
2. Dashboards / reports are non intuitive and need improvement.  Even the simple question of "what would be my next payout amount and in what date will I receive it?"  is not clear at all from the admin panel, and I had to ask customer support to get a clear answer. 

**What problems is BlueSnap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using BlueSnap to help customers from certain countries that we serve.

Onboarding BlueSnap was quick and painless. Customer support is always available with a timely response and goes above-and-beyond to answer any questions. Simplicity is beautiful, and BlueSnap does this well in all aspects of business with them.

**What do you dislike about BlueSnap?**

Funding should be faster. They are delayed 3 hours from all other payment processors we work with. Also, the reporting could be more a little more robust. Specifically we are seeing discrepancies between them and their new partner Chargebacks911. This is confusing could be tidied up on their end.

Our high-volume, low-value subscription business has seen better conversion rates with BlueSnap. Their setup is well packaged and makes navigating this verticle seamless.

Communication! They are always super helpful. So many processors never contact you when an issue occurs with your processing account. Many of them take days to reply and when they do, their answers are vague and leave things unresolved. Bluesnap is true partner who knows that their success is directly tied to yours. 

Their payout schedule is also very good. Obviously, our company needs cash to operate and their payout schedule ensures steady, uninterrupted cash flow.

We been a Bluesnap customer for 9 years and will remain one. 

**What do you dislike about BlueSnap?**

Honestly. Nothing. They have added additional acquiring banks which has greatly improved our conversion rates. Bluesnap is excellent with identifying areas of need for their customers and fulfilling those needs. They have their "finger on the pulse of their business" and it shows!

BlueSnap's boasts a large range of helpful tools for subscription based merchants. Account updater and an easily digestible API are two of our absolute favorite things about them. Customer service is top-notch as well.

The $2 ACH transfer fee is a bit high compared to other processors that we use. We also have errors with reporting occasionally--which seemingly, have increased with their new integration with Chargebacks911--that need to be addressed before we can give BlueSnap a 10/10.

Funding could be faster.  Quite a bit of working capital is absorbed with funding holds

**What problems is BlueSnap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluesnap has offered seamless processing. We've had no downtime whatsoever
