The tool does not write reports; it evaluates them against a fixed, weighted D1–D8 scheme. Two use cases, equally supported: Suppliers check their own 8D report before sending it to the customer and catch gaps that would lead to rejection. Customers evaluate their suppliers' 8D reports consistently and comparably, instead of judging each report by a different standard. Root cause analysis (D4) is reviewed with particular rigor: the tool distinguishes whether a cause has been reproduced, is supported by data, or is merely asserted, and it checks the occurrence cause and the non-detection cause separately. The result is an overall score, a score per discipline, specific findings and an action plan – also available as a PDF to file and share. Uploaded reports are not used to train AI models. An optional human second opinion is available from an experienced IATF auditor and certified VDA 6.3 auditor with long-standing experience in Supplier Quality Management.
