Creating interesting courses with interactive elements such as videos, sounds, graphics, animated GIFs and even quizzes is extremely fast and easy to learn. Also the fact that you can create an unlimited amount of courses for one constant fee is really interesting. **What do you dislike about 7taps Microlearning?** To be totally honest - there's not much to dislike with 7taps for me personally. It would be great to be able to save the created courses locally as a file on your computer for backup reasons. Also the price gap between the Pro end the Enterprise plan seems to be a little big, maybe a fourth plan in between would be a nice addition to the service. **What problems is 7taps Microlearning solving and how is that benefiting you?** With 7taps, we're able to create dedicated product trainings that are fun, easy to use and don't take too much time. This way we're able to reach a whole bunch of people in different countries at the same time, without the need of an actual presenter travelling there. This way, we can afford creating more product trainings even for smaller products, and all it takes is a few hours' work. For me, the idea of micro learning implies that you're trying to get people to take training they might not be willing to take, or at least not super excited about. If they were, they probably wouldn't be requiring a micro learning platform. A course can be created in a matter of minutes! I also love that the course can be shared via email, text, QR code, embedded as an iframe, or even exported for use within xAPI integration. I also love that the 7Taps team is continuously evolving based on feedback that they intentionally seek out from the user community. Improvements have and continue to be made because of the feedback and I truly appreciate this. **What do you dislike about 7taps Microlearning?** I really appreciate how the app offers the capability for gifs to be added to courses. These make courses relatable and fun! Sometimes when I search for a gif, I receive a few inappropriate results/imagery that I could never apply to professional courses. It would be nice if there was a way to provide an option to filter results to ensure what is provided. Another recommendation would be the closed captioning, I applaud the 7Taps team for making accessibility a priority. I notice that when an apply pauses, all of the characters are included in the CC which can be distracting. I wish there was a way to apply CC without the symbols for pauses, so the reader can read the captions without the extra characters. **Recommendations to others considering 7taps Microlearning:** 7Taps is a great tool to use in the right context. Like any tool, proper analysis must be done to ensure the tool is the right vehicle in pursuit of a desired outcome, but where appropriate this tool is amazing! It is easy to use, fun to create/personalize, and easy to share! **What problems is 7taps Microlearning solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am using 7Taps for course prototypes, and I am also finding use to create refresher courses for internal training topics. I have leveraged the tool as a reflective recap for courses I have taken as well. I look forward to using the learning path option, although I do wish as a Pro user that I would not be limited to just 1 learning path. Perhaps in the future the 7taps team could consider expanding the number of pathways to a few more? ### 49. This makes it simple to create quality microlearning that matches my organizations brand and voice standards. Users have shared that they love the flow and design, and that completing the learning is simple on their mobile device. **What do you dislike about 7taps Microlearning?** Even with my own logo, theme, and graphics, the final product is a bit bland. The introduction card is a solid color with a logo and text. The introduction card for sub-chapters are a solid color with text (no logo). It'd be nice to use a graphic as a background, but in no way does this diminish the ease of use for learners. **What problems is 7taps Microlearning solving and how is that benefiting you?** This solution is great for reviewing information that has already been learned and for covering topics that don't require facilitation or a full eLearning course. It's also super useful for covering multistep tasks that aren't completed super frequently, to walk a user through each step one card at a time. ### 50. It's a super straightforward system and the results are nice, even at the free account level. I like the way the courses look upon completion and our staff seem to appreciate the microlearning concept. **What do you dislike about 7taps Microlearning?** Anyone would love more features at the free account level, of course. Even being able to share more than one course at a time. I'm using the program as part of a pitch for an Instructional Design role and it would be nice to be able to have at least one other course available to share with the decision makers. But it's easy enough to toggle which course is active as a work around. **Recommendations to others considering 7taps Microlearning:** It seems like an ideal solution for companies with staff who are on the go and maybe not tied to a desk/computer. **What problems is 7taps Microlearning solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sometimes we just need a quick lesson to go out to our staff, and 7taps takes care of that nicely.
