The biggest benefit is that all search accounts can be put into one UI. As a larger advertiser we have multiple accounts and sites with each engine and it's not always an easy task to create bigger scale optimizations if there is no tool like 7search in place. Unfortunately, our company does not use 7search anymore. It was just easier to manage with 7 search. I am able to handle several small accounts at once maximizing my time.
What do you dislike?
It was super hard to use at first. Huge beginning learning curve. The online tutorials and initial start up weren't as helpful. A little more direct help would make the learning easier. The display reporting can be improved.Sometimes we weren't sure if it was actually working and getting our ads out there. Sometimes it was a bit slower working too. You definitely need a lot of training to utilize this IT system to its fullest advantage. I'd also like to see a more aggressive pricing structure to lower the fees.
Recommendations to others considering the product
I do not think they are accepting anymore customers as of now, so it may not be a good thing to consider as a future customer.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I work in small advertising start up and can use 7 search to help smaller accounts achieve results. Then once we have set-up the accounts the reporting is alright. We are also utilizing their builder to totally manage tracking for our company's internal analytics systems. We were looking for an agency that could efficiently launch, manage and grow our brand. Unfortunately, we are not using 7 search anymore because they stopped accepting customers. But it was very convenient when we did use it! If it ever comes back, it would be great if my suggestions were implemented. It needs a lot of work, otherwise it has great potential for a start-up company.
