7 Layer performs monthly vulnerability scanning services for us, keeping us in the loop of any potential cyber threats. This is helpful in being proactive about stopping attacks before they happen so we can have piece of mind that our data is secure. 7 Layer also always provides very proffesional deiverables. We began our time with 7 Layer during a big IT transition for the firm. We were migrating away from a Virtual Desktop cloud provider and needed help finding solutions to allow our users to work efficiently and securely in a remote environment. Our team at 7 Layer had a good solution for every "to do" item we had. Some items they managed for us included but were not limited to: Firewall configuration and management, WAP config and management, cloud document management, network printing/scanning solutions, device/hardware support, application support. 7 Layer has been my go to managed services firm for 10 years. I have use them to replace poor performing incombent firms and most recently to stand up a new private equity firm. 7 Layer is responsive and ready to tackle any type of management service issue. Resources could come in and hit the ground running with many tasks thrown at them, this made reaching project timelines much easier from a management point of view, as there was little delay in getting the resources up to speed. I have been in IT for over 25 years and have managed global technical teams. I have managed desktops, server infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, and development teams. I don't know if I can express how much I trust 7-Layer, how they constantly go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service, and how reliable they are. What do you like best about 7 Layer Solutions?

Their availability and "bend over backward" approach. We were using them for staff augmentation of infrastructure services and one of the techs was struggling with an Exchange issue. 7 Layer brought in an Exchange expert level tech to assist their infrastructure person through the issue. What do you dislike about 7 Layer Solutions?

They don't provide all areas of need that I have for technical resources. I am responsible for Service desk and application support. Which are lower level resources. 7 Layer focuses on the technical needs that are high level (and higher cost) than PC support or Application support. If you are a small business and just want someone to take the technical services off your hands or if you are an enterprise that needs staff augmentation or somewhere in the middle, 7 Layer's market approach has something to fit your need. They specialize in CyberSecurity and infrastructure services. If I have a need related to Microsoft Cloud, such as Azure or O365, they are my goto vendor for assistance.
