## Zoho People Reviews
 ### 1. Zoho People Streamlined Our HR with an Intuitive, User-Friendly Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Divyansh S. | CFO, CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

I’ve been using Zoho People for our team, and it has genuinely streamlined our HR processes.

One of the biggest advantages is how simple and intuitive the check-in and check-out system is—our employees were able to adapt to it almost instantly without any training. The user interface is clean, well-structured, and very easy to understand, which makes day-to-day usage smooth for everyone.

Beyond attendance, it offers a well-rounded set of features for leave management, employee records, and performance tracking. The automation options help reduce manual work, and everything is organized in one place, which saves a lot of time.

Overall, Zoho People is a reliable and efficient solution for managing workforce operations, especially for teams looking for a user-friendly and hassle-free HR platform.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

That said, the admin side of the platform can feel a bit tricky at times. While the employee interface is very intuitive, navigating the admin dashboard and configuring certain settings may require a learning curve initially. Some features aren’t as straightforward as expected, especially when setting up policies or customizing workflows. However, once you get familiar with the system, it becomes more manageable.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoho People solves the problem of scattered and manual HR processes by bringing everything into one centralized platform.

Earlier, managing attendance, leaves, and employee records required multiple tools or manual tracking, which increased the chances of errors and consumed a lot of time. With Zoho People, attendance tracking through an easy check-in/check-out system has become seamless, and leave management is now structured and transparent for both employees and admins.

For me, the biggest benefit has been improved efficiency and clarity. It reduces administrative workload, minimizes manual errors, and ensures that all employee-related data is organized and easily accessible. This allows more focus on core operations rather than routine HR tasks, ultimately improving overall productivity.

 ### 2. Feature-Rich and Customizable, but Permissions Setup Takes Time to Master

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Selva K. | Head Of Digital Marketing Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

Zoho People integrates seamlessly with other Zoho applications, which makes it easier to keep HR processes connected. It’s also cost-effective for small and growing organizations, with minimal upfront commitment. On the security side, it offers strong protections such as role-based access controls and multi-factor authentication. The plans are flexible as well, so organizations can scale as their needs evolve. I also like that it supports comprehensive employee lifecycle management, including onboarding, attendance, leave, files, and HR workflows. Finally, the platform is highly customizable, with forms, workflows, and approval processes that can be tailored to fit different requirements.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

User permissions, roles, and form-level access controls can be difficult to understand during the initial setup. Some administration screens, especially Access Control and Permissions, aren’t as intuitive or user-friendly as they could be. Customer support response times could also be faster, particularly for implementation-related questions. If you’re implementing the system yourself, be prepared for a significant time investment—especially if your organization is setting up complex workflows and policies for the first time. Finally, certain advanced configurations come with a steep learning curve and would benefit from clearer documentation and more guided setup wizards.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We dont have a dedicated HR and this helps us do workforce management easier.

 ### 3. Simplifies Clinic Coordination, HR Tasks, and Time Tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishan S. | Manager and Dietician at Chaitanya Homoeo Clinic, Medical Store Owner, Content Creator, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

it helps me manage clinic work, staff coordination, and health education related activities from one place in a simple way. i work as a Dietician nd Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health awareness content for social media, so handling daily work properly is important for me. i regularly use features like attendance tracking, leave management, employee records and time tracker during day to day work. The time tracking feature is specially useful while managing patient consultation timings, wellness webinar preparation, follow-up work and content planning activities. It helps keep work more clear and properly managed during busy schedules. Employee information, approvals and documents also stay easy to access whenever needed.

the platform feels simple to use and implementation was not difficult for me even without much technical knowledge. Performance has been smooth in regular use and the system works well while handling different activities together. i also like that many HR related tasks can be managed from one platform instead of using multiple tools separately. I use it quite frequently for staff handling, internal coordination and planning wellness related activities. Overall, Zoho People feels practical and genuinely useful for keeping healthcare and content related work more organized and easier to manage.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

most features are easy to understand, some settings related to workflows and permissions can feel little confusing in the beginning until everything is properly set according to daily work needs. sometimes while checking attendance logs, time entries and approvals together, I need to open multiple sections before finding the exact update I am looking for. During busy clinic work I prefer some information to be visible little more directly from the dashboard itself.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping solve the problem of managing staff related work and daily clinic coordination in a more organized way. i regularly handle patient consultation activities, health awareness content work and internal clinic operations, so keeping attendance, work timing, leave records and employee information properly managed is important during daily work. it helps manage attendance tracking, time logs, employee records, approvals and basic HR activities from one place instead of handling everything manually. It becomes easier to keep track of daily activities, staff coordination and consultation related schedules without confusion.

The time tracker is also useful while managing wellness webinar preparation, patient follow-up activities and health education content planning because work updates and timings stay more properly organized. Employee documents and work related information also remain easy to access whenever needed. Another benefit is that it reduces manual coordination work during busy schedules. Instead of maintaining separate records and updates in different places, many tasks can be handled from one platform itself. Overall, Zoho People helps make clinic operations, staff handling and healthcare related workflow more smooth, organized and easier to manage during regular work.

 ### 4. Smooth, User-Friendly HR Management with Great Automation and Zoho Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ajeet S. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

Zoho People offers a smooth and user-friendly HR management experience, especially for small to mid-sized teams. The interface is intuitive, making it easy to manage employee records, attendance, and leave tracking without much training. I particularly like the customization options and automation features, which help streamline HR processes and reduce manual work.

The integration with other Zoho apps is a big advantage, creating a unified ecosystem for business operations. However, some advanced features can feel slightly complex at first, and mobile app performance could be improved.

Overall, it’s a reliable and cost-effective HR solution that brings good value for growing organizations.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

Some advanced features are complex and take time to learn
Mobile app performance can be slow or less responsive at times
Limited flexibility in certain reports and customization options
Customer support response time could be improved

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

•	Easy-to-use interface that makes managing attendance, leave, and employee data simple
	•	Strong customization and automation features that reduce manual HR work
	•	Seamless integration with other Zoho apps, creating a unified workflow
	•	Reliable performance and good value for money for small to mid-sized teams

 ### 5. Streamlines HR Tasks, Needs Enhanced L&D Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** FLOYD L. | Senior Learning & Development (L&D) & HR Operations Specialist, Human Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

As an L&D and HR Operations specialist, I value its unified ecosystem most. It consolidates core HR admin, employee self-service and basic learning tools in one place, perfectly matching our mid-sized team’s daily needs. The self-service portal truly lightens our workload; team members can submit leave requests, adjust personal details and check work records on their own, greatly reducing repetitive HR inquiries. Automated approval chains move requests to respective managers instantly, keeping all workflows efficient and visible. We heavily use its customizable onboarding templates and bulk training assignment tools to standardize new hire processes and track course completion in real time. The clean, intuitive interface means employees and supervisors adapt quickly with no extensive training. What’s more, it connects seamlessly with other Zoho apps we use, building a connected workflow and avoiding disjointed data across platforms.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

Its L&D features fall short when compared to professional learning management systems. It cannot support sophisticated course classification, structured learning paths or in-depth skill gap assessments, and its training-related reports only offer surface-level data. The custom reporting function also has obvious constraints. There are fixed caps on columns, grouping rules and aggregate fields, so we cannot pull combined reports covering training, attendance and performance data together. The filter settings are too simple to create nested conditions, and several custom fields we built for internal use cannot be added to reports. It lacks practical tools like pivot tables and conditional formatting. When duplicating existing reports, layouts do not carry over, forcing us to rebuild from scratch repeatedly. Complex reports also display incorrectly on mobile devices, affecting on-the-go checks.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Zoho People, our employee data was scattered across various spreadsheets and separate tools, leading to frequent data inconsistencies and extra sorting work. This platform brings all personnel information into a single secure repository and eliminates data silos entirely. It automates most manual admin work across onboarding, compliance training and daily HR procedures, saving our team plenty of working hours. The self-service function and automated approvals cut down routine clerical work, letting our HR team shift focus to talent development and other strategic tasks instead of repetitive paperwork.

 ### 6. Simple, easy and best platform for checking the leave dates and available leaves and job profile.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhupendra M. | Software Engineer , Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

I like it because it’s very easy to use and has a simple, clean UI. Any user who comes to the Zoho People platform won’t feel confused or overwhelmed, so overall I’m happy with it.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

I’ve been using the Zoho People platform for the last 8-9 months, and honestly, I haven’t found anything negative about it so far.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoho People basically solves the problem of managing human resources. In my organization, as a user of Zoho People, I can check all my details, such as my location, department, time zone, seating location, and contact information. I can also view the profiles and contact details of all employees in my organization. Overall, I think Zoho People is moving in the right direction.

 ### 7. Relieves Admin Bottlenecks, but Integration and UI Could Be Simpler

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kunal K. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

This platform solves a few bottlenecks for my company. My administration team felt real relief after getting onboarded. The user experience is straightforward and not overly complicated, and the overall integration process wasn’t a pain. That said, it could have been even easier, especially compared to some industry leaders. Pricing is a strong point for this platform and fits our needs well.

Performance-wise, we haven’t had any complaints so far. However, we haven’t really benefited much from the AI offered by this product.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

Integration is slightly complicated. The UI feels too much sometimes. Can be more minimalistic, clear.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The basics of organisational handling are what it's solving for us to a greater extent. Managing even a small team is easier. I am sure that for big teams, they will add more value.

 ### 8. Flexible Custom Forms, but Version 5 Update Disrupted Employee Data

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oleksandr G. | CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

What I like best is the flexibility in managing employee data and processes in one place. The ability to create custom forms makes it easy to adapt workflows to our specific operational needs. It provides a practical balance between structure and customization, which works well for an outsourcing environment.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

One drawback of Zoho People is the update to version 5, which disrupted previously attached employee data. Some information was relocated in ways that feel counterintuitive, making it harder to find and manage. This change negatively impacted usability and required additional time to adjust workflows.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoho People helps centralize employee data, HR processes, and internal workflows in a single system. This reduces manual effort and improves consistency in managing people across projects and teams. As a result, it supports more structured operations and better visibility for decision-making.

 ### 9. Streamlined, All-in-One HR Platform That Saves Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenneth V. | Travel and Lifestyle, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

What I like most about Zoho People is that it brings all HR processes together in one easy-to-use platform. Everything from attendance tracking and leave management to employee records is well organized and available in real time, so it’s simple to find what you need when you need it. The interface is clean and fairly user-friendly, which makes navigation straightforward for both HR teams and employees. I also value the automation features—such as approval workflows and notifications—because they cut down on manual work and help improve efficiency. Overall, Zoho People makes day-to-day HR management more streamlined and less time-consuming.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

One of the main downsides of Zoho People is that some features can feel a bit limited, or they require additional configuration to fully meet specific business needs. The interface is generally clean, but it can sometimes be confusing when you’re trying to navigate more advanced settings or run reports. I’ve also noticed occasional delays or glitches, especially when loading data or syncing information. In addition, the customization options for certain modules could be more flexible, and integrations with other tools may take extra setup to get working smoothly.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoho People helps address the challenge of managing HR processes manually by bringing everything into one centralized platform. It removes the need to rely on spreadsheets and scattered records by offering a single system for attendance, leave tracking, and employee information. As a result, it reduces errors, improves accuracy, and makes it easier to find and access data when it’s needed.

For me, it cuts down the time spent on routine administrative work, speeds up approvals with automated workflows, and improves overall efficiency. It also provides clearer visibility into employee data, which helps me make more informed decisions.

 ### 10. Highly Customizable HR Automation with Seamless Zoho Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Divya S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

Zoho People’s biggest strength is its customization. It lets you tailor workflows, approval hierarchies, leave policies, and performance cycles to match your organization’s structure. The automation features also save a lot of time, particularly for attendance tracking and leave approvals. Integration with other Zoho apps is another major advantage, especially if you’re already in the Zoho ecosystem. On top of that, the reporting dashboard provides useful insights without requiring advanced technical skills.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

The user interface is functional, but it isn’t always intuitive. Some settings are buried under multiple layers of menus, and the initial setup can feel overwhelming if you don’t have clear guidance. The mobile experience could also be smoother in certain areas. On top of that, some advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which can drive up costs as your team grows. Customer support is generally decent, but it can be slower than expected when you’re dealing with more complex issues.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My overall experience with Zoho People has been mostly positive. It’s a solid HR management system that brings attendance, leave tracking, performance management, onboarding, and employee records together in one centralized platform. For small to mid-sized businesses, it can significantly reduce manual HR work and make processes more transparent. That said, it does take time to configure properly and to really understand how everything fits together. If you’re expecting plug-and-play simplicity from day one, you may end up disappointed. Once it’s set up well, though, it becomes a dependable backbone for day-to-day HR operations.

 ### 11. Useful and effective HR tool, but can be improved in usability

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

I like the integration of Zoho People with the rest of the products in the Zoho suite. I think it's the main advantage: Zoho has the sales team's CRM, the project management tool (Projects), software development (Sprints), accounting (Books), and HR (People). Everything communicates with each other, which as a company avoids one of the main problems, which is interconnecting data between different providers.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

Usability is not always simple, some processes are a bit tedious and it's hard to find how they are done. Finding the things you have pending to validate on desktop is not very intuitive. In the administrators, configuring some things (fields, dependencies, it's also a bit difficult to find them). As in the case of Sprints, it doesn't fully share Zoho's "philosophy" in some cases. The initial setup of Zoho People was difficult.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoho People simplifies the management of absences and vacations. The integration with other Zoho apps avoids data interconnection issues between different providers.

 ### 12. Easy-to-Use One-Stop Platform for HR Tracking, LMS, and Payslips

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niraj K. | QA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

1) Easy to use.
2) One-stop platform for facilities like attendance tracker, performance tracker, setting KRI/KPI, LMS platform, accessing payslips, etc.
3) Can be accessed via mobile app also

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

As the platform provides many facilities, it can sometimes be challenging to identify which sub-category falls under a specific category. For example, location payslips could be unclear because it is not obvious which category it belongs to

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) makes attendance and leave tracking really easy. I dont have to deal with messy spreadsheets anymore.
2) Keeps all employee information in one place.
3) Employees can apply for leave or check their records on their own, which reduces back and forth communication, and makes things smoother

 ### 13. Comprehensive HR Management with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr. Mohit S. | Associate Director HR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

I find the interface of Zoho People quite detailed from an HR perspective, which provides a lot of options to navigate functionalities, such as setting up Team calls. It also offers flexibility in scheduling multiple evaluation rounds for different roles, which I think is very helpful from an organizational perspective. Additionally, the setup process is quite seamless, like a plug-and-play system, and it's easy to integrate with our email system, making OTP generation and link sharing very smooth.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

What can be improved is the accessibility of the interface. Sometimes it's challenging because you may have to navigate on multiple options to reach an accurate option. Though it's a single sign on, but you still need to know the module well to be able to navigate. At the same time, from an administrative perspective, the accessibility is not very conducive because you will have to re-evaluate and always refresh yourself on what all has changed in the module. They also need to improve on the changes continuously happening on the interface. It should be proactively shared with the end users so they remain on top of how the functionality works.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Zoho People for detailed records and to track candidate progress. It eliminates duplication and manual work, engages employees effectively, and allows referral submissions and status tracking, making the process smooth. It is also seamlessly identifying duplicate records to avoid ambiguity in terms of talent acquisition.

 ### 14. Zoho People: Straightforward & Efficient HR Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony C. | Entrepreneur, Entertainment, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

I find Zoho People very convenient because it's like carrying a whole HR department on my laptop in the cloud. It simplifies the usual HR paperwork and files, which would require a physical location otherwise. I also really appreciate its features for people logging in and out, as well as the reminders for important events like birthdays and work anniversaries. The initial setup was straightforward and very easy, which I would rate a 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

I think what needs to be improved on Zoho People would be the payroll systems. I would want to see more payroll integration.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Zoho People for managing employees, time tracking, and viewing task lists. It helps with time logging when employees start and finish work. I also find the reminders for birthdays and anniversaries very useful.

 ### 15. Efficient HR Management with Some Integration Challenges

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akhil P. | SAP Talent Acquisition, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

I use Zoho People for its Applicant Tracking System which efficiently manages activities related to hiring like applicant details, interview schedule, job details, and submissions. I like how it very efficiently handles day-to-day employee management. The Performance Management tools, including goal setting (Key Performance Indicators), performance reviews and appraisals, feedback, and ratings, are really helpful. The initial setup was seamless because the Zoho People support team was very cooperative during the switch. Overall, I'm liking the product and would rate it 9 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

One thing I definitely would like to improve in Zoho People is the integration with Naukri. Currently, it requires an API Key from Naukri, which Naukri doesn't want to give. So if Zoho can work out this integration without needing Naukri's API key, it would be a great help.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Zoho People for the Applicant Tracking System, managing hiring details, interviews, and job information. It efficiently handles day-to-day employee management. I also appreciate the Performance Management tools like goal setting and appraisals.

 ### 16. Clean, User-Friendly HR Tool with Smooth Zoho Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ajay S. | Senior System Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

Zoho people is easy for both administrators and employees to navigate, which makes everyday tasks like attendance, leave requests and timesheet submissions very straightforward.
This interface is clean and user friendly. So new users can adapt quickly without extensive training.
Setup and configuration were relatively simple with minimal disruption.
Integration with other zoho products and external systems has generally been smooth, allowing us to connect HR data with payroll, collaboration and other business tools.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

While basic customization is good, certain areas such as form rules, automation logic and reporting lack the flexibility that more mature HRIS tools offer. This means we sometimes need workarounds to achieve the desired outcomes.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Routine HR tasks that previously required manual effort are automated or streamlined, freeing up time for HR and team leads to focus on higher-value work.
With standardized workflows for leave approvals, shift scheduling, attendance logs, errors are reduced and policy adherence is improved.
Managers gain real-time insights into team availability, absentee trends, and timesheet compliance enabling more informed scheduling and project planning.

 ### 17. Reliable and User-Friendly HR Tool for Everyday Needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Uday G. | Founder, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

What I liked best about Zoho People was how simple and organised it seemed. The interface is clean, it's simple to track attendance and leave, and most tasks can be completed with minimal training. It also works seamlessly with other Zoho tools, saving time and consolidating everything in one place. Overall, it seems practical and dependable for day-to-day HR tasks.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

What I didn't like about Zoho People was that some of the features felt limited unless you were on a higher plan. Customisation can be confusing at times, and some settings are not very intuitive. The mobile app works, but it isn't as smooth or powerful as the desktop counterpart.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoho People addresses the fundamental challenges of managing HR tasks in one place, such as tracking attendance, processing leave requests, maintaining employee records, and automating routine HR workflows. This helps me save time, reduce manual errors, and keep things organised. Instead of juggling spreadsheets and emails, I can quickly see what I need, approve requests faster, and concentrate on more important HR tasks.

 ### 18. Effortless Workforce Management with Zoho People

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Astha S. | Content Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

I use Zoho People for my daily work life management. I find it really easy to navigate on the website and the app, and it is very user-friendly. I like its UI and the good colors. It's great for applying for leaves and tracking how many I have left. It also helps me track holidays and receive proper notifications both on the app, website, and email whenever HR posts or announces anything. I frequently use LeapTracker and the files section a lot, and it's amazing how I get notifications as soon as a document is shared. The initial setup was good for me, and the tool itself is easy and very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

 ### 19. Zoho People Streamlines HR, Attendance, and Leave Approvals

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

I liked the approval system, which is especially useful for handling leave requests and attendance regularizations in an organized and streamlined manner.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

When accessing the Leave Tracker through the Operations module, the system is not displaying a selectable list of employee names. Instead, it requires manual entry. It should display the full list to select the employee.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have integrated attendance with a biometric device, allowing us to track office check-ins and check-outs accurately. And it allows for creating an on-duty request to the site-based employees.

 ### 20. Highly Customizable, Yet Exceptional Value

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Geoff F. | Business Accounting and Tax Solutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

I appreciate Zoho People's highly customizable features. It lets us build custom forms and modify workflows, and even use their unique scripting language to enhance our experience. The onboarding process is incredibly easy and convenient, providing ample checklists to ensure everything is set up correctly from the start. I also like the seamless integration with other Zoho products and its robust mobile app. This app is excellent for teams to clock in and out using geofencing. Additionally, uploading and signing documents with eSignatures is easy, and setting up company handbooks that can be accessed before employees join is a big help.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

I think configuring complex leave policies can always be tricky. Users have found it quite difficult to set up the initial bid, and it can be overly complex because it requires a fair amount of setup first.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Zoho People for human resources management, facilitating leave and performance management. It integrates seamlessly with Zoho products and offers flexibility and customization from hire to retire. However, it has a steep learning curve and setting up complex leave policies can be tricky.

 ### 21. Effortless HR Management with Great Value for Growing Teams

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

Zoho People can feel clunky in places, with some users finding parts of the interface unintuitive or overwhelming, especially during initial setup and configuration. Support responsiveness and the mobile app experience are also common pain points, with reports of slow, unhelpful support and a laggy, less-polished mobile app compared to the web version.

**What problems is Zoho People solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoho People replaces manual HR spreadsheets, emails, and paperwork with one system for attendance, leave, and employee data, which cuts errors and saves a lot of admin time. Automated workflows for approvals, onboarding, and performance reviews keep processes consistent and transparent, so HR and managers can focus more on strategic work instead of repetitive tasks.

**Reviewed by:** Dhana C. | Senior Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Zoho People?**

As an HR professional, what I appreciate most about Zoho People is its onboarding process. Previously, we had to collect data from candidates ourselves, but with Zoho People, candidates can enter their own information, making the onboarding process smooth and allowing it to be completed within a day. I also like that I can access all the data and organize it according to my different business units. Another valuable feature is attendance approval, which managers can handle directly. This has made my job easier, as I no longer need to coordinate with managers, effectively eliminating communication gaps. Using Zoho People daily has truly simplified my work. The most important feature for me is its integration with other Zoho apps, such as Zoho Recruit and Zoho Payroll, which streamlines both the recruitment and monthly payroll processes.

**What do you dislike about Zoho People?**

The biggest drawback for me has been the lack of customer support. Whenever I try to reach out, it often takes a long time to get a response. There were days when I was stuck with errors and couldn't find a solution, which led to a particularly frustrating experience with Zoho People. This is my main dislike. Additionally, the mobile application is quite limited—I can't access most features on it, which is disappointing. When our firm was considering Zoho People, we started with the trial pack, but when we were ready to purchase, we found the pricing confusing and struggled to find the right fit for our business size. I hope this has improved now.

This tool has made handling leave requests from employees much easier, as well as tracking attendance, which is especially helpful during payroll processing.
