"Simple, Secure, and Scalable Cloud Storage Solution"
What do you like best about Google Cloud Storage?

I like Google Cloud Storage because it provides a reliable, scalable, and cost-effective way to store large volumes of data without managing physical infrastructure. In my professional work, I used it to store application files, CSV and JSON data exports, logs, and intermediate processing files for analytics and automation workflows.

I regularly accessed data using the GCP Console, gsutil commands, and service account–based API access. Integration with services like BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Dataflow made it easy to move and process data across pipelines. Features such as lifecycle rules, versioning, and IAM-based access control helped manage storage efficiently and securely. The durability and availability of GCS gave confidence when handling business-critical datasets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Cloud Storage?

While Google Cloud Storage is powerful, managing IAM roles and permissions can be confusing for new users, and small misconfigurations can cause access issues. Cost optimization also requires careful monitoring when working with large datasets. Debugging access or permission errors can be difficult because log messages are not always very clear or user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Client Photo Sharing Across Preferences"
What do you like best about Google Cloud Storage?

I can store photos for my clients and share them whenever they request. Some clients prefer sharing through Google, while others have different preferences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Cloud Storage?

The limited storage space and the fees are frustrating. I often have to delete older photos and documents just to make room for new ones when I need to add more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Scalable, and Easy-to-Use Cloud Storage"
What do you like best about Google Cloud Storage?

Google Cloud Storage offers excellent reliability, fast performance, and simple integration with other Google Cloud services. I appreciate the flexible storage classes that let me optimize costs, the clear and intuitive console, and the strong security features like IAM roles and encryption by default. It scales effortlessly, whether I’m storing a few files or managing terabytes of data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Cloud Storage?

The pricing model can be a bit complex at first, especially when calculating egress and retrieval costs. Documentation is thorough but sometimes scattered, which can make finding specific configuration details time-consuming. A more streamlined cost-estimation tool and clearer step-by-step guides would make the experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable object storage"
What do you like best about Google Cloud Storage?

✅ Storage classes and lifecycle policies

The tiering model is pragmatic and maps cleanly to access patterns: Standard for hot paths, Nearline for monthly access, Coldline for annual or less frequent access, and Archive for long‑term retention, with lifecycle rules to automate transitions and expiration by object age or version state.

✅Predictable, transparent pricing pages

The public pricing documentation is clear, consistently updated, and granular by region, storage class, operations, and egress, which simplifies forecasting and chargeback conversations compared with opaque request‑based models elsewhere.

✅ Security by default at the storage layer

Server‑side encryption for all objects before write, with per‑chunk DEKs (typically AES‑256) and key rotation on updates, reduces blast radius and aligns with common compliance expectations; integration with Cloud KMS covers CMEK and per‑bucket or per‑object key strategies.

✅ IAM and policy control surface

Fine‑grained IAM roles on buckets and objects, organization policies, and auditability via Cloud Audit Logs make access reviews and least privilege enforcement practical; the model is mature and well documented across Google Cloud’s security corpus.

✅ Ecosystem integrations

Seamless use with services like BigQuery external tables, Dataflow, Vertex AI, Cloud Functions, and load‑balanced static sites simplifies pipelines without extra glue layers; Google Workspace tooling often reduces friction for operational teams.

✅ Free program and on‑ramp

The Free Tier and trial program provide a low‑risk path to prototype storage patterns and validate lifecycle rules before committing larger footprints, which helps control surprises in early stages.

✅ Documentation quality

The official docs for pricing, encryption options, and operational characteristics are thorough and consistent, which speeds troubleshooting and design reviews in multi‑team environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Cloud Storage?

Regional pricing variance adds another layer of diligence. The same design in different regions can produce noticeably different monthly totals, and class‑specific retrieval and minimum storage duration fees change the economics once data shifts from hot to cold. "Free Online Storage"
What do you like best about Google Cloud Storage?

Google Cloud Storage has helped me backup my data on the google cloud though the drive. In my device it supports uploading my data as backup to the Google Cloud Storage through Google Photos and Google Drive as a medium which is helpful in case of data loss. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Cloud Storage?

Well, it is quite helpful but a dislike is just that its pricing is somewhat high for normal customers to use but good for industry specific level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Google Cloud is a game changer for BigData and ML"
What do you like best about Google Cloud Storage?

Google Cloud is notably useful due to its scalability and powerful infrastructure, making it suitable for enterprises of all sizes. One of the most significant advantages is its superior data analytics and machine learning capabilities, like as BigQuery and Vertex AI, which assist enterprises in gaining insights and developing intelligent applications. It integrates seamlessly with other Google services, increasing efficiency and collaboration—particularly with technologies such as Google Workspace. Google Cloud also prioritizes security, including built-in capabilities such as identity management and data encryption. Its worldwide network offers consistent high performance and reliability across areas. Furthermore, various pricing structures and a pay-as-you-go mechanism make it affordable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Cloud Storage?

One disadvantage of Google Cloud is its steep learning curve, particularly for people new to cloud services. Some users find the interface and documentation to be more difficult than competitors. Pricing can sometimes be perplexing, and unexpected charges may occur if expenses are not closely monitored. Compared to AWS and Azure, Google Cloud features fewer third-party connectors and a smaller ecosystem. Certain services or support options may not be available in all regions. Furthermore, while Google Cloud is dependable, some consumers believe that customer service responsiveness may be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid Cloud Platform"
What do you like best about Google Cloud Storage?

What i really like about google cloud is how well it integrates with other google services, If you're already in google ecosystem for example using gmail, google workspace or bigquery. I used google cloud services daily and everything feels just seamless. The UI is clean and i expecially enjoy the speed and reliability of services like compute engine and cloud storage. Pricing is also very competetive. Even non technical person can use most of the services by google cloud, and for developer its very easy to integrate with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Cloud Storage?

So the only thing i dislike about google cloud is its invoicing and the billing dashboard its very overwhelming. There are times when i could not identify the charges as the services for being i am charged is not clearly mentioned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
