**What do you like best about 401GO?**

I use 401GO to manage the 401(k) retirement plan for my small business, and it helps me offer a retirement plan for our employees at a pretty low cost. I liked the seamless transition between my payroll company and 401GO, making it easy for me, and our employees who find it very user-friendly. As a small business owner with limited free time, having 401GO set it up for me and talk me through it was very helpful. The initial setup was very easy, I'd say nine out of 10.

**What do you dislike about 401GO?**

Sometimes it's a little bit hard to get a hold of my representative, but mostly they are good overall.

**What problems is 401GO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

401GO helps me manage a 401(k) retirement plan for my small business at a low cost. It's user-friendly and seamlessly integrates with my payroll, saving me time. Setting it up was easy, and the transition was smooth for my employees.

Their customer service when transferring retirement accounts from an external company to their 401k plan and transferring out when I switched jobs was extremely helpful and made the process smooth and easy for me.

**What do you dislike about 401GO?**

Their online investment platform felt basic and I don't remember it having a ton of resources available for modes of investment of my retirement account.

**What problems is 401GO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The retirement accounts that my company previously were hosted through closed due to a removal of their plans for employees associated with a small business and 401GO was able to help us all transfer our retirement accounts over easily and with minimal issues.

As an employer, I ran into a few hiccups getting everything set up, which was to be expected. As an employee enrolled in the 401k, though, I have nothing to dislike.

Its uncommon for nursing homes in our area to offer a 401k for the employees. 401GO is helping us save for our future.

We've been working with 401go for 3 years now and have placed our own 401k as well as several client plans on their platform.  Easy to use.  Great customer support.  And the implementation and conversion process is about as simple as I've ever worked with.  
Great service guys!  Keep improving.

We have a negotiated rate for our per person fees and it's always tricky trying to rememeber to reach out to them to make sure we ask them to extend it manually to each new client we onboard.  It would be nice to have the option to simply have that be a standard pricing for our tenant.

They are our administrator for our 401k plans - makes our life easy for the most part working with them for the retirement plan business we have.  Their payroll integrations make things super simple for us as well.

- Great line-up of high quality, low cost funds
- Tool to recommend a portfolio to participants
- Understandable dashboard website for both participants and admin
- Year end recon process was very straightforward
- Dedicated account manager is the single point of contact -- excellent customer service.   Really happy with the support and resolution of any issue very quickly.
- We have 360 integration with our payroll provider, Paycom.   This is working really well.   Employees make changes on the 401Go site, and the updates happen in payroll quickly.

**What do you dislike about 401GO?**

No complaints about 401Go.   Employees really happy with it, and it's easy to administer.

We had an expensive 401k with poor investment choices.  Administration of the 401K is so easy now.

Working with the staff at 401Go was awesome and easy. As an advisor and client, Dustin and team will walk you through every step in the process. They will not leave you to figure it out on your own. The ease of the platform and the support of the 401Go team is perfect.

i haven't found anything yet that i am not happy with.

I hated using other vendors that say they will be with you every step of the way and then they leave you to figure thier platform out on my own. Not with 401Go. they will walk you through the whole process until every step is completed.

**What do you like best about 401GO?**

401GO is a super convenient and simple way to manage employee's 401K services.  This takes out all the guess work and the interface on the software is superbly designed.  
Also - there is always a human on the other side available to help.  Our 401GO Rep was very hands on in getting us all set up correctly.  We're a small company so I wear many hats, I absolutely love services like this that make it easier to understand and provide benefits to our employees -- and 401GO rates at the top of my list for services.

**What do you dislike about 401GO?**

Honestly, nothing that I dislike about using this service!  I guess one thing would be that it doesn't integrate directly with Square payroll but it's still very, very simple to use and report.

We are a small company and I wear many hats.  i need services like this to make compliance and employee benefits easy to manage as we don't have one HR person dedicated to only this.  401GO has made my life so much easier!

Outstanding Experience with Exceptional Communication! Starting a new 401k program for our employees felt overwhelming at first, but working with Katie B. has made the process seamless. Katie is incredibly responsive, answering all my questions and emails with impressive speed. She’s also readily available for Google Meets, which adds a personal touch. The best part has truly been the clear and efficient communication—it’s reassuring to know I can always reach out with questions and receive thoughtful, prompt responses. For any business owner just starting out, this level of support is invaluable!

**What do you dislike about 401GO?**

Good Service, But Room for Improvement on Recurring Features. Overall, the system works well, but one technical issue has been a bit inconvenient. One of my employees is on a weekly pay schedule, and there’s no option for a recurring setup. It’s a hassle to manually process it every week. I’m confident this will be addressed in future updates.

The customer support and the customization options during setup were beyond my expectations. One of the Co-Founders spent an hour on a call answering my many questions which was greatly appreciated!

**What do you dislike about 401GO?**

I'm not a big fan of the extra fee to have investments self managed by my financial advisor. Also, the fees for the defined benefit plan were a little higher than expected. I also think 401GO investment performance reporting is just average. I wish there was more custom reporting options to pull performance reporting by different cuts.

Providing an easy to administer 401k + company match + profit share program for myself and my 3 employees.

It was easy to set up, it is easy to maintain, and it has been easy to get questions answered from a real person when needed.

**What do you dislike about 401GO?**

We have a bit of complexity with regards to a part-time employee who got enrolled by default even though they don't qualify - getting that fixed in between 401GO and our HRIS platform (through which we do payroll and use 401GO) has not been straightforward. But over-riding the error each pay period as instructed by 401GO, until we have the time to figure it out for real, has been easy enough, although not ideal.

We want to put hands on our 401(k) plan as little as possible, and get support for administrators and users without extra delays or hoops to jump through. That has been the case so far.

**What do you like best about 401GO?**

A big upside to the 401GO platform is its digital nature. Being able to do everything from the data gathering, initial meetings, to general administration online is ideal in todays landscape. The support staff is responsive and friendly, willing to guide you and the clients through each step. The automation available on the backend makes management very easy if you have multiple plans. The integration into payroll is also well done.

**What do you dislike about 401GO?**

It may not be for every client or older folks who enjoy physical paper and relationships. I have not ran into this being an issue, but I know it could be and that is okay.

**What problems is 401GO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps solve the issue of complication in selling and setting up a 401(k) for any business owner. It makes it easily available to very small companies and larger employers. That makes it a benefit add to our services.

I like that 401GO handles the ERISA bond, the discrimination testing, and the 5500 filing. Everything goes through 401GO and we don't have to ask clients to use a different 3rd party benefit administrator.

There are emails generated indicating a difference in retirement calculations from what 401GO calculated and what the payroll program calculated. Sometimes these emails are incorrect - there is no discrepancy.

401GO solves the problem of using a staff member to administer a company's 401 plan and instead places the burden on the participants.

Flexibility, reasonable fees, and services provided.
The website is fairly intuitive, so is a bit more user friendly than other platforms.

**What do you dislike about 401GO?**

The fact that there is no way to override the email verification process with a client's written request.  There are still a lot of people out there who do not use email.

So far as I can tell, there is no way to go from servicing an employee's account to another without logging out and logging back in.  If there isn't a way to do this, there should be.

**What problems is 401GO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While 401Go offers a very robust portfolio, the platform also allows one to offer customized portfolios.
Another well appreciated fact is that 401Go is VERY transparent on fees, and they work hard to keep these fees reasonable.
401Go also allows me, as the broker, to create more reasonable fee structures for my clients which enables me to stay competitive.
The online portal is also fairly user friendly, which is rarely the case with so many platforms.

My two favorite things about 401GO are their customer service and the programs connectivity with other programs.  They are extremely responsive and helpful if any issues ever come up or questions I have about changing my plans, etc.  It was very easy to setup with a call or two and then it has worked without issue ever since.  When some things came along that I was unfamiliar with a quick phone call to customer service and someone walked me through all my questions.  I have been very pleased with the choice to go with 401GO and thrilled I took the chance on them as our low cost provider with all the functionality of the other ones.

**What do you dislike about 401GO?**

I actually really love 401GO and don't have anything really negative to say.  We haven't had any problems so far and have been using the service for about 3 years now.

This is a low cost 401k provider that syncs with our ADP Run software for payroll.  They administer our program and make sure we are compliant with filings and documentation.

There are no downsides thus far.  They have answered all of my questions and concerns and walked me through anything that wasn't understood.

My experience with 401GO has been extremely positive to this point. It was easy to set up with all the support provided. After the first time, it only takes me a couple of minutes each pay period to process payroll for myself and my employees. Pricing is the best in the industry, and the website is very easy to navigate. The 401GO team has been fantastic to work with every step of the way!

**What do you dislike about 401GO?**

The only downsides are that for my business, which uses Sure payroll, there is not full integration so some manual data entry is required. This takes me about 3 minutes for 6 employees. Also, occasionally the company match is off by $0.01 from what my payroll company calculates, but again this can be remedied by cross referencing.

**Recommendations to others considering 401GO:**

Definitely check them out. You won't be disappointed. Glad I found such a great partner for my small business.

With 401GO,it was very affordable and quick to get up and running, with minimal paperwork. I have worked for large corporations before which offered 401k plans, and this one is actually much easier and better in every way. Great tool to attract and retain employees in a small business environment.

Incredibly fast, simple 401k plan establishment - like in 15 minutes. Ultra-low fees. Easy safe-harbor plan setup, with system helping you decide which of the 4 safe-harbor matching methods to choose. You don't need to be an expert with 401k plan design to implement a plan in literally minutes. Importantly, they offer a great selection of low-fee index mutual funds from multiple families including Vanguard, as well as Target Date funds.

**What do you dislike about 401GO?**

NO downsides to 401go - really!! If I had to suggest something, I'd say a couple more choices in very short and intermediate duration bond index funds would be nice, but what they do have is sufficient - no complaints!

Offering a low-cost safe-harbor 401k fund to employees of a small business. 401go makes this affordable for us, as well as being very easy to set up and maintain. There is virtually no effort!

The interface is very user-friendly, both for the administrator and the participant. The setup process was easy, and someone was readily available if I had any questions. They have an excellent onboarding process that makes it so seamless.  I can rest easy knowing 401go has everything handled for our 401ks.

It is not currently integrated with my payroll, but they have made the manual entry super simple, so it's not that big of a deal.
