What do you like best about 3Play Media?

The transcription accuracy is near perfect, and the audio descriptions with their player is unmatched. When our group tried out other services and finally found 3Play, it was a no-brainer. What do you dislike about 3Play Media?

It is difficult to think of something we dislike about 3Play. If there is one thing I would like to see, it would be more features when it comes to the layout and design of their player. Functionally, it works great. However, since it is embedded using an iframe, it can be a little tricky to keep it mobile-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is 3Play Media solving and how is that benefiting you?

Transcripts, Captioning, and Audio Descriptions for accessible videos. We hold online workshops and record most of them. As a State/County organization, our materials need to be accessible for those with impairments. Before 3Play we weren't able to post many of our video resources. We had to rely on other means to come up with the captioning, which wasn't very accurate and took a lot of extra work and manpower to make corrections and finalize. "Many services in one place"

What do you like best about 3Play Media?

As a non profit, our budgets are small and we need things quickly. 3Play is affordable and can provide transcriptions quickly. I also like that after an event that 3Play has captioned, you can ask them to make the captions 100% accurate for a very small fee. It saves my staff time and is done quickly. What do you dislike about 3Play Media?

While 3Play works directly with Zoom for webinars, if you do not use the email 3Play sends to start captioning, it can be a little tricky. It is still possible but takes a few more steps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering 3Play Media:

While the live captioning costs a bit more than the regular captioning, the higher accuracy (especially if you put common words in first) is well worth it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is 3Play Media solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our biggest need is captioning and transcription. 3Play offers live captioning for our live web meetings which offers a higher accuracy rate and the cost is affordable. We also use 3Play to caption and transcribe other videos we use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about 3Play Media?

I love the speed at which my caption requests are fulfilled. I can always count on 3Play Media for prompt responses to my needs. What do you dislike about 3Play Media?

Sometimes transcripts could be more accurately done. 3Play Media tends to do well with sources that are clear, but struggles to keep up with common vernacular like "ums" and "uhs." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you're in a pinch, go for it. 3Play offers the fastest turnaround time I have seen for captioning service (yes, even for long-form media), and makes it easy to correct any mistakes! I have not been disappointed by using this service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quality Consistent Subtitles & Translations"

What do you like best about 3Play Media?

Love the options to choose different turnaround times for subtitles based on my needs, and all the helpful translation options. But the ability to simply click a button to postback to YouTube makes my life much easier! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about 3Play Media?

I like that 3PlayMedia's platform for ordering captions is easy to use and customer service is quick and responsive. Because it is so easy to use, one does not need much training to get started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 3Play Media?

Sometimes, it takes a while to upload a video to 3PlayMedia, but that is only if the video is very large. There is a GB limit on the video that you can upload, so one would just need to be aware of that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
