What do you like best about 3ds Max Design?

I like the ease of use that comes from using Autodesk's 3ds Max programs. They are by far my favorite line of model editing and creation programs because of this ease of use, intuitive layout, and the wide array of features available. I have always loved this product line because I can quickly learn to do new things every time I use the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 3ds Max Design?

The 3ds Max line of programs are often prone to crashes. While this isn't an everyday issue, it is common enough to warrant complaints. I also might experience bugs here and there that can only be resolved by installing product updates and service packs manually, which can be a headache to have to interrupt work to do. 3ds Max improves my workflow in 3d development, rigging, animating, and other applications tremendously. That would be the biggest benefit aside from ease of use. What do you like best about 3ds Max Design?

This software is incredibly cool. It is quite daunting at first but jump into some tutorials on youtube or elsewhere and all that stress and anxiety goes away. The amount of things you can do with this software is practically endless and is pretty intuitive once you get into it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 3ds Max Design?

I dislike the ability to quickly snap and grab like you can in autocad. I know it's a completely different software and it's function is different, but it doesn't seem as easy to copy and manipulate similar objects like you can in autocad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you're nervous about the daunting interface, jump in and do some tutorials. It seems very difficult at first, but it's relatively simple to use once you get used to how the mouse works, and the various tools you need to navigate the space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
