What do you like best about 3ds Max Design?

As a Unity developer, i have to create many models in my game so 3ds Max helps me to design my models, the best part of it produces a good render image of model . with a very high resolution and good pixels models, the animation provides by the software are greater, the softness the curves of the model is same as real world Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 3ds Max Design?

What do you like best about 3ds Max Design?

It can do a lot of modelling tasks quickly and easily. Especially using boolean functions to cut/add objects. Modelling complex NURBS surfaces is very easy in 3DS Max. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about 3ds Max Design?

Great viewport for modeling, a lot of visual effects are available to enhance details. Stability is a good point, I never had big troubles using this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 3ds Max Design?

Not the best software for animation, dummies instead of joints is a useless peculiarity that limits compatibility and introduces potential problems. Max script is not so bad, but the documentation about it is very poor. The deformers system is very slow and frustrating to use, I still can't believe that I have to create a deformer just to view the model UVs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about 3ds Max Design?

The user interface is very easy to use and not too overwhelming. The modifiers are easy to operate and are very effective. Max with Vray plugin does some really good renders, very realistic and great for Architectural projects or interior design or game development. The particle system comes in handy if doing water or wind effect. Great software for hard surface modelling. The texturing tool is easy to use for both Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 3ds Max Design?

It's paid software and a very hefty amount, while there is equally good software available for free. The updates over the years have not been matched with the evolution of competitive software. Not a great software for animation-heavy projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Am 3d artist who uses multiple software , for Archviz i always use 3d smax to create clean topology and to setup a clean building or interior polygon objects, the modifiers are really one of the best part of 3ds Max as they help a lot especially to reduce the number of polygons efficiently. What do you like best about 3ds Max Design?

3ds max is very easy and flexible to use for designing and rendering.

It has a user friendly interface.

It has ports in it which allow you to view all views front top side and 3d at single time.

It has inbuild 3d real world objects like doors windows trees which is easy to make.

The edit poly feature gives the precision and accuracy to your models.

It has inbuild materials of vast variety which is very helpful in rendering like architecture rubber glass silicon etc.

The uv mapping also works very precisely and gives real world look.

I need not to change the formats of the designs as it has every format available i can open solidworks model or assembly also in it.

I have made a floor plan project through it and the inbuild doors and windows helped me alot.
