What do you like best about 360Suite?

360 Suite helps me manage BObj in more ways than the built-in management console allows. The bulk management of users and reports saves a significant amount of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 360Suite?

The setup becomes more complicated if you want to split apart the various pieces (i.e. tomcat on one server, application on a different server, etc). It can be done and their support team is extremely willing to help you through it, but it does become more complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering 360Suite:

If you are using SAP Business Objects, you owe it to yourself to try this out. I wouldn't want to operate a BObj environment without it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is 360Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?

Once huge problem it solved was moving everything to a new server. We were building a new BObj environment and heavily modifying connections as we went along. 360 Suite made it extremely easy to bulk change the connections, usernames, passwords, etc for reports. We were able to easily manage security and several other tasks that would have taken much longer if we had to do it all within the BObj management console alone. What do you like best about 360Suite?

This review is not an endorsement from the organization, but my personal opinion based on my experience with 360Suite. The ability to schedule data extraction for snapshots after peak hours of operation is beneficial and conveinent. What do you dislike about 360Suite?

360Suite is an outstanding product that is full of features and capabilities. We have realized a significant reduction of time and resources in performing essential reporting and administrative tasks. We can provide more detailed reports required for Impact Analysis, Document Usage, and evidence for Audit requirements.

What problems is 360Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?

Impact Analysis had been a significant problem that 360Suite resolved within the first few days of installation. Mapping Universe objects used to require a lot of time and multiple people, but with 360Suite, we accomplished the same task in 1/10th of the time with 75% fewer resources. "360Vers and 360Eyes"

What do you like best about 360Suite?

360Eyes is great for the reporting team and their impact analysis work. It allows them to do things which would take ages otherwise.

360Vers is great for version control of content and it allows you to visually compare different versions of a document.

What do you dislike about 360Suite?

Security Management :

With 360Suite we are able to manage all our CMS Content : Users, Documents, Universes, Connections, Applications, Access rights and much more...

The Cross Table concept to manage the Security is simply amazing ! You can quickly have a full view of your security and manage it by a simple click.

Promotion (or synchronisation) to multiple CMS is extremely simplified.

You can schedule your promotion, and only what has been changed since the last synchronization. You can do this for the Documents, universes, users and much more.

Scheduling : 360Cast

360Cast help us, and in a simply way, to Schedule and publish our reports in many way :

- By email as attachment and in any format : PDF, XLS, CSV

- On a File server and/or Sharepoint

- The distribution list management is really simple (In App, from DB, from external file etc...)

Impact Analysis : 360Eyes

Who was never been asked to find if a DB field is used in a Report, or which documents is used and by which users ?By using 360Eyes, we are able to quickly answered to all these questions and much more.

You need to migrate to a new SAP BI Version ? in this case I highly recommend to use 360Eyes ! It will help you to make a real cleaning and you will be able to find quickly :

- Which users need to be migrated (Saving license cost)

- Which reports need to be migrated (will help you to estimate and save the required time & budget)

- And much more...(universes and Objects usage, Active session, Action on documents (Refresh, edit, save...))

None Regression Tool : 360Bind ! A must

After a big universe change, or a migration, or any change on your Database system, who can guarantee that nothing has been impacted, and that the reports content is still the same ? 360Bind can do it for you.

Using this tool (part of the 360Suite), you will be able to compare your reports extremely quickly. As example, we were able to compare and highlight differences of around 1'600 reports within only 4 days (And all reports were refreshed). And of course, all the processes which have been created for the migration can be re-used for any changes in your environment (DB Upgrade, ServicePack or FixPack Deployment, universes upgrade, etc...) What do you like best about 360Suite?

With over 20 years of BOBJ experience I do remember days trying to manage the environment solely with what BOBJ provided. It was a pain. Time consuming and not very effective.

This tool has opened so many doors for us and made migration to 4.2 so much easier with very limited consulting assistance.

Vast capabilities and ease of use. Excellent intelligent clean up features, documentation options (excel/CSV), automation (scheduled jobs) and most of all backup capabilities (recycle bin). No, it is much better than BOBJ recently added recycle bin feature (you can back up EVERYTHING). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 360Suite?

New release. I find it a bit fragmented and not as logical as the previous one (which we still occasionally use - especially "Audit" tab). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Take advantage of the trial run. Test all that you need and contact customer support (very responsive) if necessary. If you need to know what is in your environment and how it is being used - this is a must have tool for any BOBJ admin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Automated clean up (max number of inbox documents, disable inactive ID's based on various parameters, security access issues). Handy for backups, recovery, bulk updates of schedules owners , bulk addition of users to groups etc.

As I said earlier , 360 suite is handy for admins.

If users delete any reports , we can recover the reports with one click instantaneously .

If any user leaves the company , the uses has any schedules , we can assign the reports to new owner with one click . Does not

What do you like best about 360Suite?

I've started 360 Plus mainly for administration tasks; setting up folder structure, group management and documenting security, managing Custom Access Levels. Promotion of Folders, CALs between CMS environments is much more user-friendly in 360 than in CMC.

Then We also used 360 to backup CMS content and easily restore items deleted by mistake by users.

Finally we have used 360Bind during our BI 4.2 migration project in 2019 which reduced duration of the (non regression) testing phase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 360Suite?

We are using 360 legacy and of course user interface is sometime old-fashioned which is totally understandable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Once we could restore in 5 min a universe in production which had been deleted by mistake. As we do not use 360 for promotion, we had to use 360 which keeps same CUID after restore. That was amazing ! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A superb administration and migration assistance tool for BO"

What do you like best about 360Suite?

360Suite is a comprehensive suite that saves time in the daily administration of one's BO environment. User and rights management is simplified. I discovered 360Suite in 2013 during a BO migration project from version XI 3.1 to 4. I immediately liked the tool because it allowed us to clean up unused users and queries. In my new entity, as soon as I arrived in 2016, I insisted on purchasing 360Suite to make our lives easier. The new features developed since 2013 have greatly helped us during the migration to audit, clean, and migrate more securely. Besides that, the Support service and the relationship with the sales team are of very good quality. They are responsive like few companies, attentive to our problems and our desires for improvement. What do you dislike about 360Suite?

I tried hard to find something on the "dislike" side of this product, but I found nothing. The different versions I have used have always been ergonomic and have always improved with each upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The daily administration of BO is greatly simplified with the ability to perform bulk updates from an Excel file. The Bind tool is very valuable for migration, as it allows for quick comparison of queries and identification of the source of issues and differences observed during migration. What do you like best about 360Suite?

It makes your life so easy to audit the Business Objects.

It comes with pre-set reports which is very useful to make a decision in your BI ecosystem. it also provides universe which helps you to build adhoc report as per your requirement. it is very simple and easy.

It become very simple to administrate or maintain the platform with 360 eyes and it gives you the opportunity to analyse cms contents, universes or documents usability rate so much you can play around and see what you can think of in terms of Auditing.

What do you dislike about 360Suite?

There is not much to dislike just wanted to have more use case in Promotion management field. Current if you would like to build any report on Promotion management we do not have much option available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
