24-7 Press Release Newswire stopped providing the free press release option in 2018 due to rising costs involved with the press release distribution model, including editorial staff and no conversions to paid clients.

Because of the costs involved, press release distribution at the no-cost level was extremely limited. the purpose was more for people to see what the process was like, including how easy the interface is to use.

24-7 Newswire is a great way to send out a press release without committing to the costly invoices that larger distributors such as BusinessWire issue. These are best for clients who are looking to build up SEO and link-building. They also have decent reporting, which is uncommon for a free/cheap service like 24-7.
