### 8. Secure, User-Friendly, But Tight Reauthentication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh D. | Director of IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I really like the administrative side of 1Password; it's great and very organized. What I like most about it is how secure it is with its master password, its ability to sign in using single sign-on, and its overall security reputation. It was very easy to set up within our organization, and we liked that we could give different permissions to different users within different groups.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The duration in which it requires reauthentication seems a bit short, and we've gotten some complaints from users that they have to reauthenticate too frequently. That would be nice to be able to control separately. Otherwise, not much.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password secures offboarding by preventing users from taking passwords, keeps departmental passwords organized, and facilitates quick password management access during onboarding.

I use 1Password for all my passwords, and it's used in my organization for password management across teams. I like the Chrome extension because it makes 1Password easily accessible. When trying to log in to an account that's shared across the team, I can just get in and get the password.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The Chrome extension pops up even when not needed. When trying to fill a field that doesn't require a password, it still shows up. It would be nice if it could be smart enough to recognize fields that aren't related to passwords.

I use 1Password for password management, solving the problem of remembering various passwords across platforms. The Chrome extension makes it easily accessible, allowing me to log into shared accounts effortlessly.

 ### 11. 1Password Is Essential for Our Work Password Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

We use 1Password as our main tool for all work related password management and credentials. Without 1password I would not be able to login anywhere.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

User invitation flow could be better and the management of credentials between the vaults. Sometimes the between the vaults navigation is too complex and it's not easy to find what I need.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 12. Facilitate Security without Complications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco P. | Senior Software Developer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I really appreciate the ease of being secure without needing to memorize thousands of passwords, thanks to 1Password. It allows me to store passwords securely for all my applications, making it so I only need to remember a single master password. I also love that it offers two-factor authentication, further increasing security. The auto-fill feature is something I value greatly, as it makes using passwords on different platforms practical and quick. The initial setup of 1Password was simple and problem-free, which made its adoption easy from the start.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The standard is for passwords to be saved by the domain, and it does not consider subdomains, which sometimes causes passwords from different systems to be saved in the same place (but this can be resolved by checking "save only for this specific domain", however, this is an extra step that could be standard.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 1Password to store secure and unique passwords, ensuring security across all applications, while I only need to remember one master password.

 ### 13. Cross-Platform Efficiency, But Lacks Enterprise Value

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garreth N C. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I like that 1Password works across multiple platforms and has an autofill feature. The autofill is quick - a real time saver - and works pretty well on both Windows and iOS. Some other providers are slow to autofill or don't recognise password fields (I'm looking at you Nordpass!)

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

I found that price-wise, 1Password didn't compete well at an enterprise level when we wanted multiple users and a really good management, admin console. 1Password was not a good fit for that IMHO

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password generates complex passwords and remembers them, so I only have to remember the master password. It saves me time.

**Official Response from Timothy Watkins:**

> Hi Gareth! Thanks for your review. It's great to hear how helpful autofill and our cross-platform support is for you and your team. **What do you like best about 1Password?**

Very good user interface; ease of sharing passwords; well thought out features around user management, groups, delegation. Follows best practice security procedures.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

App is sometimes slow and unresponsive, has bugs where the browser plugin loses connection to the main app. In. general because it's an electrion app it feels heavy and slow

Keeping track of an enormous number of passwords. Safely sharing access to accounts for services that don't provide indiviual logins. Managing shared logins for accounts with two-factor auth or passkeys. Keeping accounts secure and preserving access when employees/members leave the org.

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I like that 1Password acts like a hub for my passwords, keeping them secured. The random user generator is really neat, and it helps me feel that my data is protected, especially in today's age of hacking and data leaks. The initial setup was very easy, probably about an 8 out of 10.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David W. | Head of IT Department, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I have been using 1Password privately for several years and moved my company to 1Password last year, no regrets.

Excellent service, excellent support and very friendly and helpful.

The product is easy to use and manage and, as far as my research shows, secure.

We have set up multiple teams, each with their own safes and all users found it easy to use and made a lot of their processes easier and more secure.

With integration in all web browsers and availability for all platforms, managing passwords is a doddle.

There podcast, Random but Memorable, is only bi-weekly!

With ever more internet services and on-premises systems requiring passwords, a password safe is a must. 1Password goes beyond, with recommended passwords and warnings about compromised accounts
Additionally, we have many "departmental" accounts with suppliers where multiple people need access to certain password, 1Password makes this easy.

**Official Response from Timothy Watkins:**

 ### 27. The best App you will ever download!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David B. | Co-Founder & CEO, Management Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2018

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

Where do I begin... Personally, this is the best App I own and use on a daily basis! It saves me time, money and allows me to keep control of all my top secret passwords and data. I have been using OnePassword for over 5 years, and I would never change (at least I don't think I would) to an alternative.

The fact is the App is simple to use, secure and provides complete control over my password management, the days of notebooks or even protected spreadsheets are long gone. I have recommended OnePassword thousands of times to others.

- The software is simple to use
- Very cost effective Vs other similar Apps
- Robust - Never had an issue or outage
- Innovation - OnePassword are always looking at new tools or making existing processes better
- Integration - Integrates well with other 3rd parties software such as Apples iOS
- Great mobile App for access on the move, simple to access when you need a password or pin number
- Cloud-based so syncs across all my devices.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Well... this is a tricky question to answer, as there isn't anything I can think of! Maybe the ability to unlock your vault on your laptop using your mobile device, thus saving your fingers entering your master password. So much easier on a device with fingerprint or facial recognition.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeps all my password protected, secured and under one master key. Allows me to share and control group passwords or important information with others in my team. And finally, ever password is different, less risk of data hacking or loss.

 ### 28. Outstanding Security and Support with User-Friendly Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Parth M. | Search Engine Optimization Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

Excellent security, top-notch customer support, and an easy-to-use feature for daily needs.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The main drawback of 1Password is that admin controls and user management can be cumbersome when scaling across large teams. Assigning roles, adjusting access rights, or managing vault organization requires extra steps that could be simplified. Some integrations with third-party tools also need more flexibility or easier setup options.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password solves the challenge of securely managing and sharing passwords across devices and team members. It centralizes all credentials, payment details, and sensitive data in one encrypted vault, making access both safe and convenient. This has significantly reduced password fatigue, improved overall security, and saved time when logging into multiple tools or platforms.

 ### 29. Essential Tool for Secure and Effortless Credential Sharing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Svetlin I. | Collaboration Tooling Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

1password makes it easy to share credentials like passwords, usernames, Personally Identifiable Information and overall anything that comprises a secret asset for your company, enterprise or organization. It is one of the major collaboration tools that my organization employs and I'd say one of the major ones, if not the single most important one, since it holds all the keys to our digital kingdom and enables us to hand them over carefully and without risk to the one who is going to need them. It allows for great control over how you share that critical pieces of information an with whom.

You can sort your critical data by using labels, categories and vaults. Vaults are similar to what are called workspaces in other collaboration tools and allow for granular access, you can have company-level one or personal one for example.

The other two, categories and labels are I think self-explanatory. It does all of the above at a fair, non-overburdening cost and offers great quality and security for the price you or your org pays.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Maybe it will be great if there are more seamless integrations with other software.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of scattered information by providing a single hub for your secrets.

**Official Response from Timothy Watkins:**

 ### 30. Seamless SSO Sign-In and Easy Vault Organization with 1Password

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

The best part of using 1Password is being able to sign in seamlessly with SSO. I also like that I can create separate vaults for personal and corporate login information, which makes it easier to keep everything organized.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

It does work well with Chrome and Android devices, however it doesn't work well with other browsers.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do not need to remember my passwords anymore.

 ### 31. Makes My Job Easier Every Day

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

Makes my job easier, I am able to save my passwords in a much organize way

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Something takes a lot of loading and verification

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes I am not on top of my passwords but now I am able to save my passwords in a much organize way

 ### 32. Help us feel safe with my passwords and online payments

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan M. | Sales Associate, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

What surprised me the most was how quickly I adapted. I remember that the first time I installed it I was afraid it would be another of those apps that make me waste time, but no: in less than 10 minutes I had already saved my most important passwords. It felt so natural that, when I entered my mail and it self-completed itself, I laughed to think of the years I had lost copying and pasting keys from a note hidden in the phone. As for security, it gave me real peace of mind. The first time Watchtower warned me that a password I was using was compromised, I felt like I had a personal guard watching my back. And the "Travel Mode" gave me a brutal calm when I traveled: before going through migration I erased my sensitive data and then, with one click, I recovered them upon arriving at the hotel. Value for money, although I had to think before paying, convinced me in the first week. With all that it saved me in stress and time, the price stopped looking expensive.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

On a couple of occasions, I failed to sync a new device and had to set it up again. The team support was keeping an eye on everything.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our company the difference was even clearer. Before, when someone needed a tool key, we had to track down old emails or ask three different people on the team until we found it. It was chaos and, even worse, a risk. With 1Password we set up a shared vault, and there we have everything, and there is no risk of disclosing data. I remember one Friday, in full urgency with a client, that we needed the corporate card to pay for a license. Instead of wasting time searching for it, it was already saved in 1Password, and we used it with secure autocomplete in seconds. That day we finished on time thanks to that, and I thought, "It’s over; this app has earned its place here"

**Official Response from Timothy Watkins:**

> Hi Jordan! Thanks for your review. It's great to hear how quickly and easily 1Password has become an essential tool for you and your organization. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our team, or join us on https://www.1password.community/. Thanks again!

It’s significantly improved our security posture, reduced IT bottlenecks, and saved time across the board. It also helps us meet compliance requirements more easily by centralizing credential access and providing detailed audit trails.

Certain advanced features of 1Password, such as vault sharing and security reports, may take some time for new users to fully comprehend. Also, I felt the pricing to be a little excessive when compared to other options.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rolando L. | Semi Senior Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I use 1Password for holding passwords in my workspace, and it solves the problem of needing to remember all passwords and 2FA codes. Autocompletion is sick and very useful, especially in cases of 2FA. The initial setup was very easy, not a big deal. I think it is the best password manager out there, and I would rate it 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Autofill sometimes is kind of aggressive, I have had issues disabling autofill in websites where I am not interested.

1Password solves the problem of needing to remember all passwords and 2FA codes, making my life easier.

 ### 49. Flexible Integration and Secure Dashboard Across Devices

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shraddha T. | Team Lead , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

It offers flexibility as it could be integrated with browsers and Apss on both IOS and Android, making my digital document secure and easily accessible. Also, offering a perfect dashboard with breach alerts to view it all at one place.

It's interface is user friendly. Content available in brand's website also helps in solving queries and that helps in preventing raising tickets for frequent customer support.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Although, this is one of the best password and digital documents manager, the subscription plans offered may be quite expensive as compared to others available in the market and it has few limitations in it's free trial version as one cannot get exposure to it's complete offerings.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me in accessing my digital documents and password in any browser. Also, the extension makes my life easy as the details required are just one click away. It is quite beneficial as it helps in keeping my important documents readily available at any point, whenever I need them.

 ### 50. 1Password review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiwari S. | Systems Integration Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

What I appreciate most about 1Password is how it effortlessly combines strong security with user-friendly design. The platform uses end-to-end encryption, so all your stored credentials stay completely private—even the company cannot access them. I find the Watchtower feature particularly helpful, as it notifies users about weak, reused, or compromised passwords, making it easier to maintain good security practices. Its cross-platform synchronization is another highlight, allowing me to access my passwords from any device with ease. The browser extensions and autofill features work smoothly, saving time while keeping everything secure. In summary, 1Password strikes an excellent balance between robust protection and a seamless, intuitive experience.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

One aspect I find less appealing about 1Password is its pricing, which tends to be somewhat higher than that of some competitors, particularly for individuals who only need basic password management. The process of setting up the app and migrating data from other password managers can also be a bit complicated for users who aren't very tech-savvy. Furthermore, certain advanced features—such as family sharing or business policy controls—are only available with higher-tier plans, which may not fit everyone’s budget. I’ve also noticed that the web interface can be less intuitive compared to the desktop or mobile applications. In summary, while 1Password excels in terms of functionality and security, it would benefit from being more affordable and user-friendly for casual users.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password addresses the challenge of managing and securing numerous passwords across various platforms and accounts. With the sheer number of logins required for banking, work, and personal apps, it’s nearly impossible to remember strong, unique passwords for each one, and writing them down isn’t safe.

By keeping all my credentials in an encrypted digital vault, 1Password removes the hassle of memorizing or reusing passwords. Its autofill and password generator features make logging in faster and ensure that every account is protected by a strong, unique password. The Watchtower feature notifies me of potential security issues, such as data breaches or weak passwords, so I can take action to protect my accounts.

Overall, I feel reassured knowing that all my sensitive information—passwords, payment details, and documents—are securely stored and accessible only to me.
