## 1Password Reviews
 ### 1. Secure integration and easy management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tobias S. | Sr. BI Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I think it's great how simple 1Password is designed. The app helps me a lot in easily and clearly identifying reused passwords, which is a great support. The Tower provides me with a good overview of which of my credentials are really secure. I also greatly appreciate the easy integration of 1Password into our ETL processes and the secure storage of my professional passwords. I find it positive that the setup of 1Password is easy.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

In some applications, I have more than one account. Sometimes I am asked if I want to overwrite passwords or save them separately. The button for overwriting is designed in such a way that you sometimes accidentally press it. Even with more than one login level in an application, 1Password always asks if you want to overwrite credentials.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I securely store all professional passwords in 1Password, manage API secrets, and share them securely with colleagues. It is simply structured and provides an overview of passwords that are used multiple times.

 ### 2. Effortless Security and Convenience Across All Devices

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shake M. | Senior system administrator manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

One thing I really like about 1Password is how easy it makes managing passwords without feeling complicated. Features like autofill and the built-in password generator save a lot of time in everyday use. I also appreciate how smoothly it works across devices, so I can securely access what I need whether I’m on my computer or phone. Overall, it makes staying secure much more convenient.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

It can feel a bit overwhelming at first because there are many features to learn. Also, the subscription price may feel a little high for individual users compared to some alternatives.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password addresses the challenge of managing and securing numerous passwords for various accounts and devices. By generating and storing strong, unique passwords, it helps minimize the risk associated with weak or reused credentials. For me, this not only enhances my overall security but also saves time and alleviates the stress of having to remember or reset passwords.

 ### 3. Secure and Simple Password Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie G. | Lead Client Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I really like that 1Password has personal vaults and shared vaults, making organization a breeze. It's easy to find and search passwords with its clean setup. I appreciate that it stores all my passwords and sensitive client details securely in one place. The system feels secure, which is reassuring for both personal and client information storage. Setting up my account and vaults was really easy, and using 1Password across multiple devices makes accessing information straightforward. I would definitely give it a 10 out of 10 for its effectiveness in saving sensitive information.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Sometimes with 1Password, it won't save the username even though I've already put in a username, like the email address or something. It will just save the password, and so then I have to go back in and enter the username. This happens sometimes and can just make it a little bit messy when I'm trying to retrieve a login. It's easy to fix it. When it does happen, it's just kind of frustrating because then I have to track down what the correct username is.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password securely stores all my passwords and client information in one place, preventing concerns about data leakage. It offers personal and shared vaults, keeping everything organized and easy to access, which makes managing sensitive information convenient.

 ### 4. Time-Saving Password Manager with 2FA Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Piyush R. | Software Development Engineer-1, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I like how 1Password helps me organize all my passwords in one place, which reduces the tension of remembering and keeping notes of all the passwords. I appreciate the hassle-free, time-saving, single-click login feature. I also find managing passwords much easier since I don't have to maintain them manually for all the websites I access as 1Password does that for me. The initial setup was pretty simple and was completed in a couple of steps with help from my admin.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Though it saves a lot of time, the forget password path in 1Password itself does take significant times. I would request the team to work on more ways to allow users to choose between a strategy to reset the password.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password organizes all my passwords in one place, providing a single login point for websites which reduces the stress of remembering passwords. It manages password management, enables single-click logins, and integrates 2FA, saving time and promoting hassle-free access.

 ### 5. Super Easy to Use, Powerful Vault Management for Secure Everyday Access

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karla A. | Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

Super easy to use and to mess around with; besides that, you can add so many things, not just logins but also credit card information, secure notes, documents, bank accounts, databases, etc., all safe and sound for quick access. I use it every day, multiple times, and it gets easier every time. Managing the vaults is also easy to handle, and while it takes a while to get used to the whole setup, once you do, you can be sure you will be doing things swiftly and safely. I've worked with my team in implementing and integrating it, and the processess have gone smoothly.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

While saving new logins, it can be a bit confusing to know what to add in each text field, and it ends up looking, while functional, not the best. I haven't been in touch with their customer support directly because we've barely had issues that required getting in touch with them besides them doing some changes and helping us with the transition.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping me to safeguard my logins while having them on hand and managing the access of my team to our apps.

 ### 6. Effortless Password Management with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sunil B. | Senior Software Test Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2020

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I use 1Password for security and password management. It helps us generate and securely save passwords, which are difficult to hack, and allows us to share them with reliable people. I find it integrates easily with single sign-on, which benefits most of our employees. The initial setup was quite easy, and overall, it's a very friendly and easy tool to use.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

During my long period with using 1Password . I never came across a great difficulty which can be shared .

**Recommendations to others considering 1Password:**

- 1Password at work place will save lot of time because we deal with many things and remembering every credential or storing them at different place is not advisable.
- Just use it and it will save lot of time . Moreover its secured

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 1Password for password management and security. It helps us generate strong passwords, securely save and share them. Integrating with single sign-on is easy, benefiting most employees.

 ### 7. Trustworthy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johannes N. | Customer Experience Associate, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

One thing that i liked about using 1password is how you can easily access all your passwords at the same place and also how they suggest stronger, unpredictable passwords to help keep your account strong, and the process of integrating it into your other accounts is something commendable

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

SInce i've started using it , i honestly haven't had any. bad experience with it, i'd say as of now there's none that i dislike about it. Maybe as i keep exploring i'll uncover new things

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was introduced to 1password by the company that i work for, and i would say that what of the most issue it is solving is "Security and Privacy" before it used to be almost easy to guess someone's password and even be able to access their accounts , but 1password made sure that you are the only one who have access to your account's password.

**Official Response from Timothy Watkins:**

> Hi Johannes! Thanks for sharing your review. It's great to hear how 1Password has helped increase security and privacy for you and your organization. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our team, or join us on https://www.1password.community/. Thanks again!

 ### 8. Effortless Password Management, but a Bit Pricey

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ganesh G. | Senior Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I use 1Password to restore passwords for both internal and external websites in our organization. It's great because I don't have to remember all the complex passwords anymore, which really smooths the login flow. The 1Password extension integrates easily into the web browser and logs me in within a second without having to type my username and password over and over again. The way it stores passwords and usernames safely in their vault and automatically fills in credentials is incredibly time-saving and prevents repeated log outs. Also, setting up 1Password was smooth, importing passwords was easy, and the purchase flow was nice, making it overall a good experience.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Their pricing structure is a little bit pricey for single users.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 1Password to manage complex and unique passwords, ensuring I never have to recall them for our organization's tools. The browser extension simplifies logging into various applications, saving time and avoiding repeated logouts. It enhances workflow by securely sharing access without exposing credentials.

**Official Response from Timothy Watkins:**

> Hi Ganesh! Thanks for your review. It's great to hear how helpful 1Password has been for you in your software development position. If we can offer any assistance with the extension, feel free to contact our team, or join us on https://www.1password.community/. Thanks again!

 ### 9. One tool for password manager, access management and 2FA

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriele V. | Marketplaces Implementation Lead | e-commerce API Integration | Custom Tools Design & Automation, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

You can set up 2FA authentication directly in 1Password, just follow the instructions involving the 3rd party authantication app that would normally provide the 2FA code, once set 1Password would submit creds and 2FA code automatically, hence log in is smooth but still safe.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

In general I like the app, one thing I would improve is that when you are logged in and filling out any webform, 1Password would present a pop up to either suggest log in creds or to save a set of new creds, but that sometimes can get in the way of what you are writing.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have hundreds of log in creds per person due to all the tools and sales channel we use, sometimes the set of creds can be shared, in which case it ca be done easily, sometimes it can hence it acts as pure password manager.

 ### 10. Effortless Security with 1Password

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pradeep S. | Sr Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I like that 1Password integrates with my browser, allowing me to directly access my passwords when visiting websites. I appreciate the CLI feature, which lets me use passwords in my applications without exposing them. I also enjoy the secure password-sharing feature, including the option for one-time sharing. The initial setup was extremely simple thanks to the web and app-based interface. Overall, 1Password is very secure, and I haven't been aware of any security breaches.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

There are a few features that feel too costly and, in my opinion, should be included in the free version so more people can use the app without running into paywalls.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password lets me securely manage my work-related and personal credentials. It integrates with the browser for easy access, offers CLI for secure app usage, and allows secure password sharing, including one-time sharing.

**Official Response from Timothy Watkins:**

> Hi Pradeep! Thanks for your review. It's great to hear how you're utilizing our CLI features in your day-to-day work. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our team, or join us on https://www.1password.community/. Thanks again!

 ### 11. Easy, Secure Password Management with Reliable Autofill Across Browsers and Apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miles H. | Solution Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

1Password makes it easy to create, store, and use strong, unique passwords without slowing down my workflow. The autofill works reliably across browsers and apps, sharing credentials securely with teams is straightforward, and the overall security model gives confidence that sensitive information is well protected.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

At times the autofill can be inconsistent, especially on less common websites or internal tools, which requires manual copying. The interface can feel slightly heavy for quick actions, and occasional prompts or unlock requirements can interrupt the flow when switching frequently between apps.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password solves the problem of managing many credentials securely across tools, browsers, and devices. It reduces the risk of weak or reused passwords, simplifies secure access for daily work, and eliminates time wasted resetting or searching for credentials. This improves security while keeping workflows fast and consistent, especially when working across multiple apps and shared systems.

 ### 12. Advanced Security and Seamless Integration with 1Password

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David T. | AVP, OPERATIONS , Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 25, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

The best thing which i like about 1Password is its advanced secured capabilities as well as trusted server where we can trust on as the passwords are something very critical and can be fatal if leaked. hence it is very important to make sure the information is not shared with anyone outside the authorization, they also helped us for SSO features which helped to save at least 25-40 % saving on time . Also we have used the MFA and dark web monitoring features to save our organization from any unauthorized accesses. They have made sure to make it easy to use and implement within our organization premises which is a good thing .

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

I feel they are headed in the right direction and there's customer support team is very well and prompt to action whenever it is needed hence no issues in that too.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool has enabled us to save both time and resources, while also ensuring that our information is securely stored internally. By preventing data leakage and security breaches, we have managed to significantly reduce our expenditure of time, money, and resources.

**Official Response from Timothy Watkins:**

> Hi David! Thanks for your review. It's great to hear how 1Password has helped with time savings at your organization through SSO and other features. If you have any questions, or if there's anything we can help with, you can get in touch with our team at https://www.1password.community/. Thanks again!

 ### 13. Essential for Secure, Seamless Credential Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shruti S. | Software Tester, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I use 1Password every day to securely store and manage work credentials, including application logins, internal tools, shared team accounts, and sensitive notes. It’s part of my daily routine I unlock it first thing in the morning and rely on it throughout the day when accessing different systems.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

There isn’t much I dislike, but the initial setup took a little time to understand, especially around organizing vaults properly.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What I like most about 1Password is how effortlessly it fits into my workflow. The browser extension works reliably, so logging into tools is fast without needing to remember or reset passwords. I also appreciate how easy it is to generate strong passwords automatically, I no longer reuse passwords or store them insecurely.
The vault-sharing feature has been especially useful. Instead of sending credentials over chat or email, I can securely share access with teammates and revoke it when needed. This alone has significantly improved how we handle security as a team.

 ### 14. Secure password storage and seamless team sharing with 1Password

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelo A. | Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

Being able to store passwords securely, share credentials with team members in a secure manner as well as having to remember only a single password for all credentials that I need to remember.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

1Password could easily become quite annoying as it tries to fill in all input fields even though some of them are for application inputs only.

Also, I encountered some issues before where updating the desktop application threw me into an endless error loop where the only recourse was to remove 1Password completely and re-install with the latest package.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Autofilling password forms in different applications we use is quite very handy. It saves a lot of time trying to locate the credentials from some secrets / password manager, copy/pasting it and all unsecured mechanisms that happens in between.

 ### 15. Secure Password Sharing with Slight UX Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor Z. | COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I like using 1Password for storing and sharing passwords. The password-sharing feature is especially useful for sharing passwords within our team, as I can use folders to share different passwords with different parts of the team. The safe storing of sensitive data gives me confidence in its security. I appreciate the sharing options and the lack of problems with data leaks, which were among the main reasons we switched from LastPass to 1Password.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

I don't like that it has overly short sessions, after which you have to login again. The Desktop client (Mac) could have more light UX.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 1Password for storing and sharing passwords safely, providing secure storage for sensitive data. It helps share different passwords within the team using folders, enhancing data management.

**Official Response from Timothy Watkins:**

> Hi Victor! Thanks for your review, and for your feedback on the user experience. It's great to hear how helpful our secure sharing features have been for you and your team. If you have any questions or further feedback regarding short sessions, feel free to contact our team, or join us on https://www.1password.community/. Thanks again!

 ### 17. Secure Team Collaboration with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhishek S. | Senior Product Manager, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I use 1Password for password management at my job, mainly to share and use passwords securely across the company. I appreciate the ability to share password security using a link, which eliminates the need to share passwords through insecure mediums like chat. The feature of having multiple different team folders or workspaces is useful for organizing passwords across different teams. Team folders are especially helpful because people across different time zones know exactly where passwords would be without needing to ask. The initial setup of 1Password is simple enough for users, making onboarding straightforward.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

It's very flaky, it asks to save password on websites even when there is a password saved and all we're trying to do is just login. Also, the authenticator is not easy to use - sometimes it doesn't even detect the QR code on the screen to setup authenticator. They can improve the site and login vs signup detection to make sure it doesn't ask to save password again.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password helps share and use passwords across the company, especially for demo accounts. It allows secure password sharing, avoiding insecure mediums, and team folders help access passwords across time zones without asking.

**Official Response from Timothy Watkins:**

> Hi Abhishek, thanks for sharing your review. It's great to hear how helpful 1Password has been to securely share demo credentials and other details across your organization. That said, I'm sorry there have been some issues with QR detection and saving prompts for you. If there's anything we can help with, or if you'd like to share any other feedback our support team would be happy to help. You can get in touch by sending an email to support@1password.com. Thanks again!

 ### 21. Effortless Password Management with Minor iOS Glitches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Art B. | Conversion Rata Optimisation Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I like using 1Password to store both my personal and business passwords. It helps me with remembering passwords across different devices and browsers and sharing them securely with team members and externals. I really like the UI and the integrations. The features like password categorization, tagging, and storing personal documents and IDs are very valuable to me. When I start a new project, I can assign it its own set of passwords, and when the project is done, I can move the whole category to archive, which helps me keep my stuff clean. The initial setup was very easy, and all my devices and browsers are connected to 1Password, making everything synchronized and efficient.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Sometimes when you have too many passwords related to the same page, like logins for Gmail or O365 accounts, 1Password doesn't know which one to suggest. I have a feeling that sometimes it's suggesting a combo of a wrong login and wrong password, like the login came from account X while the password is from account Y. ### 22. Peace of Mind and Effortless Password Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad N. | Master Thesis Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I love how 1Password organizes everything in one secure location. The interface is clean, autofill is seamless across devices, and I no longer have to remember dozens of passwords. It gives a true feeling of peace of mind to know that all my logins, cards, and notes are protected but still easily accessible whenever I need them.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

One thing I really don't like with 1Password is that it does seem a little complicated to new users until they get used to the setup, particularly when creating shared vaults and syncing across devices. Sometimes the browser extension doesn’t recognize login fields out of the box, and that may be a little frustrating.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password resolves the problem of keeping in memory and managing dozens of complex passwords for different accounts. There was no more need to reuse weak passwords or store them insecurely; each of these ways reduced the risk of hacks or data breaches. It saves lots of time when it automatically fills in login details and securely stores sensitive information like credit cards and personal notes. To me, it brings peace of mind and makes online life much easier; I am able to focus on my work without compromising on security.

 ### 23. Secure, Centralized Password Management That Just Works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

It keeps all of my passwords safe in one place and helps me manage and store complex passwords that I wouldn’t be able to remember on my own. When I first started, it already had a bunch of passwords saved to my account, so I could jump right in without having to ask around, “What’s the password for this?”

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

I’ve often run into issues where I get locked out and then have to go through IT to get my access reset. It doesn’t seem like this is unique to me, either, since our IT Slack channel is frequently filled with similar reset requests.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’ll admit that without a password manager, I’m the type to reuse the same fairly simple password for everything. This tool helps me create effective, unique passwords for all the different tools I use—secure ones that I don’t have to remember. The password-sharing feature is also really useful, since it lets our team share passwords easily, especially for tools where we all use a single shared account.

The initial setup was quite easy for both me and my team, including creating accounts, installing the apps, browser extension, and importing existing passwords.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Overall my experience has been very positive, but there are few small areas that could be improved. Occasionally, the autofill doesn't trigger correctly on certain websites. **What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Reviewed by:** Kunal W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

I like 1Password because, first of all, it keeps all my passwords in one place and saves time. It is easy to use, works seamlessly on different devices, and helps avoid forgetting passwords or using weak passwords again.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The only thing I dislike is account recovery. If you forget the Secret Key and password, it is very hard to get access again. This is confusing for new users, and there really should be clearer instructions on how this works.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password helps me manage many passwords without writing down or reusing the same password everywhere. This helps improve my security, saves time when logging in, and reduces stress over forgetting key account credentials.

I appreciate the integration with iOS, making it efficient to use on my iPhone. It also has extensions for all browsers, which makes filling in login credentials really easy. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

I think that all is good with 1Password. They could work on integration with macOS natively. macOS has autofill & passwords feature, but there is no way to select 1Password as a source.

 ### 32. Simple, Secure, and Efficient Password Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie L.

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

1Password keeps all of my passwords for work and personal use safe, and it also auto-generates secure passwords for new websites and new logins. I like that it's easy to navigate and very simple to use. The UI is clean and unobtrusive, which saves me time when I have to create new accounts for work. I trust that the password generated is secure. It overall streamlines my workflow because I don't have to worry about where my passwords are saved or how I log in (SSO, via Google, email, etc.), because it remembers that info too. I appreciate that the setup was very easy since it was already installed on my computer by IT. I would rate it a 10 out of 10, and I would use it on my other personal devices as well.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Sometimes it doesn't save the correct URL so I have to go into the app and make sure that the login URL is correct, especially on sites where we have a specific company branded login URL. Maybe it could be more clear which URL it is saving when you agree to have it save your password, and perhaps you could have an option to update that yourself. Maybe this feature exists already and I just missed it.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 1Password to keep all my work and personal passwords safe and generate secure passwords. It saves me time by streamlining new account setups and remembering login info, enhancing my workflow.

**Official Response from Timothy Watkins:**

> Hi Katie! Thanks for your review. It's great to hear how helpful 1Password has been to securely streamline workflows for you and your organization. ### 33. Effortless Password Management but Needs Multi-Step Login Tweaks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adil V. | Shopify Design Agency, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I use 1Password for creating, managing, and sharing passwords with my family. I like that I don't need to worry about creating and remembering strong passwords because all my passwords are stored securely in encrypted vaults. I also really appreciate the password autofilling using passkeys and two-factor authentication, which means I don't have to use multiple apps to log in. Most websites and apps just autofill and log in effortlessly. The initial setup was smooth, and I've been using 1Password for more than 10 years, even before it became a subscription or cloud product.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Some websites have multi-step logins where the username or password fields are not filled as a result. It would be great if 1Password could improve on identifying fields that are for username/password and other field data like name, address (including dropdown state/country), and phone number. Especially where state or country is a dropdown field, these don't always get prefilled by 1Password.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't need to worry about creating or remembering passwords, they're stored securely in encrypted vaults. Password autofilling and two-factor authentication mean I don't use multiple apps to log in, most websites/apps just auto-fill and log in.

 ### 34. Effortless Security with 1Password

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John R. | Customer Success Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I really like how effortless 1Password is to use. It helps me stay secure without slowing me down, and the autofill feature is super smooth. The password generator is great for creating strong, unique passwords in a second, which removes the temptation to reuse the same password everywhere. I love having everything organized in one vault, making it so much easier to manage. It also works across devices, so I'm never stuck trying to log in when I'm away from my laptop or phone. The initial setup was pretty easy and seamless too.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Sometimes Autofill gets a little confused when a site has multiple login fields or a weird sign-in flow, requiring manual selection of the right saved item. Search and organization are good, but once your vault grows, it might take a second to find the exact entry if everything isn't consistent. Nothing major, just a small friction.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 1Password as a personal vault, storing logins, generating strong passwords, and autofilling across sites to solve too many passwords issues. It keeps my info secure and organized, while quick autofill makes logging in easy and saves me from resets and lockouts.

 ### 35. A Must- Have for Everyday Security

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Syed M. | Information Technology Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

The best thing about 1Password is how simple and stress free it makes password management. Instead of remembering dozens of complex passwords or writing them somewhere unsafe, I just remember one master password and everything else is securely stored.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

1Password is very secure, but that also makes it a bit strict. If you forget the master password, recovery is difficult. The pricing is also slightly high compared to other password managers. Sometimes the browser auto fill doesn't detect a few websites, so you have to manually copy and paste the password.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password solves the problem of remembering multiple passwords and using weak or repeated passwords. It securely stores all my logins in one place and generates strong passwords automatically. I don't have to reset passwords frequently, which saves a lot of time.

 ### 36. Effortless Password Management with Seamless 2FA

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayank K. | Founder / Head of Strategy and Technology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I use 1Password for managing my passwords and as a 2FA application. It helps me seamlessly access all my passwords and effortlessly generate complex passwords for websites. I love the seamless 2FA it offers, as I can just click the 1Password icon, and it automatically updates the OTP/2FA Code. The password sharing via link option is another feature I love, especially because it's really helpful when friends or family need access to certain applications—I can simply generate a link to the password for a week. I also appreciate the 2FA modules and how passwords are grouped for various individuals, which is really helpful within our organization. The password generator is fantastic because it helps prevent me from reusing passwords for all my accounts, leaving me feeling secure about my logins. The initial setup was extremely simple, as everything was organized within the organization account, and people just needed to log in using their email credentials.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Nothing to dislike really..

 ### 37. Simplifies Password Management, A Few Pitfalls

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jess W. | Project Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I like that I can use 1Password on my phone and also use the desktop version on my Mac. I also like that each individual team member has a different login, which allows us to have private passwords. I find it convenient to use it for both my work and personal passwords because I've got two types of security, one at work and one personally. The initial setup for 1Password was really easy, and I could teach my fellow team members how to use it. I haven't heard any complaints. The ease of use and cost are definitely incentives for recommending it to friends or colleagues.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The one annoying thing I find with 1Password is there's a few different account types like 1password.com, 1password.eu, and I believe 1password.ca. And for whatever reason, I somehow signed up the business account with 1password.eu. Not being in the EU, it's not intuitive to me to log in to 1password.eu, and so that could be improved.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password stops me from writing passwords in a notebook, updates across the team, fills information automatically for convenience, and reduces typing errors.

I didn't even need to read a manual or look at any YouTube videos to get started, which was nice and friendly. In terms of simplicity, it's just not complicated, so anyone can get the hang of it relatively easily.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The only thing I would say is having to log in to it. And then reload all of my tabs can be a bit annoying.

Secrets still require manual rotation by teams, which creates ongoing overhead. We’re also dealing with the added burden of access governance. Overall, it’s not ideal for automation.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to address the problem of scattered passwords and insecure sharing, which has now been eliminated. It centralizes organization-wide onboarding and access management, and it provides Entra ID SSO integration for stronger identity governance.

 ### 45. 1Password makes you focus on what matters

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fernando M. | Senior Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I really the Vaults feature. I can separate different work tools credentials into dedicated vaults and share them only with the team members who need access. I also like the Biometric authentication in the app, my finger gives access to everything and is simple to use.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Sometimes the software tries to save "one-time passcodes" that I don’t actually need to store, which requires a bit of manual cleanup. But other than that it's great.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves remembering so many different passwords and makes it easy to store them in Vaults for different purposes

 ### 46. Clean, Intuitive Password Manager with Seamless Sync, Autofill, and Fast Search

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Individual & Family Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

Very easy to use with a clean, intuitive interface

Stores everything, passwords, secure notes, cards, documents, and more

Autofills logins and forms smoothly across apps and browsers

Great search makes finding items fast

Works seamlessly across devices and keeps data synced securely

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Wish list: can’t preview saved PDFs/docs in a quick view or new tab, you have to download them first to open

A bit of setup time up front to import and organize data

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the mess of people storing passwords and sensitive info in random places. With 1Password, you just use one app and everything else is safely stored there - logins, notes, documents, whatever you need. The team can access what they’re supposed to, without sharing passwords over Slack or email, and it just works in the background without much effort.

 ### 47. Effortless Credential Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya S. | Growth Manager - Outbounds, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I like 1Password for its ease of integration on login pages, which makes it really convenient. Since I use multiple tools and can't remember all the login credentials, 1Password fills in the credentials as soon as I'm on the login pages, making it easy for me to log in. The initial setup was easy, and that was a plus too.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

I face issues sometimes if I change the password, it doesn't get updated automatically. If there is a password change, the tool should update the new password automatically without me having to do it manually.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 1Password for storing credentials and sharing them with team members. It solves the problem of forgetting passwords and fills in credentials on login pages, making it easy for me to log into multiple tools.

 ### 48. Effortless Password Management, Highly Recommended

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark F. | Research Program Senior Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I use 1Password for saving passwords securely to use company-sponsored software. I like how it helps me keep different secure passwords without having to remember them all. The ease of use is impressive; it works for anything on the web, which was helpful in my old workplace that used a lot of logins, websites, and apps. 1Password helps me stay organized when working across websites and products. The initial setup was easy, and I'm very likely to recommend it, giving it a 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

It doesn't really do too much outside of passwords.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 1Password for saving passwords securely and keeping different secure passwords without having to remember them all. It helps me stay organized when working across websites and products, and I find it easy to use for anything on the web.

 ### 49. Strong Security Without Sacrificing Usability

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I appreciate how 1Password combines strong security with ease of use. I’m not great at remembering passwords, so having a secure, centralized place to store and manage them is incredibly helpful. At the same time, it gives me confidence knowing that sensitive information, including customer credentials, is protected by robust security standards. It simplifies my day to day workflow while maintaining a high level of trust and protection

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

At times, the autofill feature doesn’t activate automatically, which requires me to manually select the correct password or sign in again. This can slow things down slightly, especially when moving quickly between tools or accounts. That said, it’s a relatively minor issue, and overall the experience is still very positive. The browser application in particular is easy to use, intuitive, and makes managing passwords much more efficient day to day.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, 1Password solves the challenge of securely managing sensitive logins, especially customer credentials tied to our platform. Knowing that customer logins are stored and shared in a secure way gives me real peace of mind and allows me to do my job confidently without worrying about security risks. It also saves time and reduces friction in my day to day work, since I don’t have to remember or manually manage passwords while still following strong security best practices.

 ### 50. Easy Password Sharing, Tags, and User-Friendly 2FA

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fanni K. | Senior CRM Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

Being able to share passwords with colleagues easily and use also shared passwords. I like that you can add tags to passwords and also the one time password function for 2FA is really user-firendly.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

I think the overview part is not very nicely organized, it would be great to have a bit better UI, e.g. password not organized by "date added" rather than type of tool by default.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easily storing and managing password with colleagues and also being able to have very strong passwords for tools without having to remember them and can store them safely.

**Official Response from Timothy Watkins:**

> Hi Fanni! Thanks for your review. It's great to hear how how helpful 1Password's 2FA and sharing features have been for you and your organization.
