I use 1Password for password management at my job, mainly to share and use passwords securely across the company. I appreciate the ability to share password security using a link, which eliminates the need to share passwords through insecure mediums like chat. The feature of having multiple different team folders or workspaces is useful for organizing passwords across different teams. Team folders are especially helpful because people across different time zones know exactly where passwords would be without needing to ask. The initial setup of 1Password is simple enough for users, making onboarding straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about 1Password? It's very flaky, it asks to save password on websites even when there is a password saved and all we're trying to do is just login. Also, the authenticator is not easy to use - sometimes it doesn't even detect the QR code on the screen to setup authenticator. I like that 1Password works across multiple platforms and has an autofill feature. The autofill is quick - a real time saver - and works pretty well on both Windows and iOS. The 1Password app is really user friendly and out employees like it. It's easy to onboard new users due to the SCIM sync. Their online documentation is good for users. After we signed the contract we had 3-4 different "account managers", with no handover in between changes. Also we've never been notified of these changes so it's just our mail being forwarded to new people and explaining ourselves again. We track the IT passwords for our customers. This has solved the problem of tracking and if someone changes the password, we all have immediate access to the password.
