## 15Five Reviews
  ### 1. Love the team implementation!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2021

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I love how you can give High Fives and encourage staff members that you may not be able talk to in person.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I really love everything about the program and so far have no complaints

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me stay on task and work better to train.

  ### 2. Recognising amazing work across the company is easy during lockdown with 15Five and drives morale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ellie T. | Enterprise Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

My absolute favourite aspect of the platform is the High5 section. We love this and use this to drive recognition and during lockdown this really helps with team morale. It’s difficult to know what everyone is doing during this period so it’s amazing to have a platform where we can recognise our colleagues publicly.

The other part of the platform I love is using 15Five to set my priorities for the week. Not only is this great for keeping focussed, it’s also great to look back on this data for MBRs and promotion meetings. I use 15Five to reflect on what I have achieved over a period of time - this means I write as much as possible around what I’m doing each week so I can reflect in the future.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

The one thing I would change is on the 1:1 meeting section, it would be great if this page could be worked on collaboratively. For example, if me and my manager had this page open during our monthly meeting and were setting targets, it would be great if I could see the changes they were making on their side real time instead of after the meeting had ended. This is more important now that we are working from home than previously but would have been useful before also

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m definitely more focussed on monthly and weekly goals. I’m also able to see where perhaps I’m not meeting targets, what are the reasons behind this. And using this to increase productivity the next month.

  ### 3. Good tool for performance management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

It gives you an opportunity and another channel of communication with your manager. It also allows you to track performance of certain goals and most importantly recognize and give appreciation to your colleagues.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

The goal setting is not always intuitive and the reminders could get a bit daunting.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

It’s a great tool to keep your team engaged and motivated.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication with a manger and peer-to-peer recognition.

  ### 4. Employee Engagement Done Right

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer L. | Customer Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

As an employee who's manager sets them a 15Five review every week, it's great to take a moment to reflect on the week. Love being able to promote internal wins as well through high fives.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

The reviews are a little stagnant. Would be great if once a month the layout was different or spiced up somehow otherwise you start to glaze over it/novelty wears off.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a fast-growing start-up, we want lines of communication to founders and CEOs to stay open and effective. 15Five lets us be heard.

  ### 5. Very useful and easy to use tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandros K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

That you can record not only your tasks but how you feel and also your goals.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Nothing! You can either add a lot or some basic things. You can adjust it to your needs.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A track of our progress, potential problems and how do we feel

  ### 6. Very much easy to use and track people , work . Creates great environment in building relation .

  ### 7. 15Five has helped our remote team stay connected and provide feedback from afar

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

The ability to "high-five" a teammate. As a remote team, it's easy to be thankful for what a teammate has done for you, but it's not like in an office where you can walk by their office and give them praise or a thumbs-up. 15Five gives you the ability to make sure people's work doesn't go unnoticed.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Would like more categories of "high fives". Sometimes I'm giving feedback on work-related things, sometimes I'm just thankful for a teammate who has provided emotional support or inspiration. I wish there was a way to specify the time of reaction, kind of like Facebook opening up more options to the "like" feature.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Do you have problems with employees having consistent access to feedback? This might be a product that helps solve that.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Like I said before, with a remote team, you have to think outside the box of normal office workflow and recognition systems. The end result of this is employees' happiness and feelings of being valued as a contributor. The problem could come if you don't have a system like 15Five in place to make sure this gets communicated to people you aren't physically sitting next to or seeing in the break room.

  ### 8. Easy and Open Communication Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach N. | Marketing Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

The ability to, on a bi-weekly basis, share the ups and downs of what I'm currently working on with my boss and other managers. This allows for calendar/workload management and an easy way to solve minor problems or bottlenecks within a project quickly and efficiently.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Normally I would say the frequency in which we fill them out is annoying, but it always turns out to be very beneficial.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

This is a great tool for employees to get involved with because it allows them and their boss to have an open and transparent conversation about their ongoing projects.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to bring up the fact that I'm swamped in my work, or that I need help sourcing material is awesome. I also realized that it's a great motivator when you can receive high fives from your peers. It drives me to work harder in order to receive more of them.

**Official Response from Mike Siemasz:**

> Hey Zach,

Thanks for sharing these thoughts on 15Five! It sounds like you're deriving a lot of value from the product to help with time and project management as well as communication and recognition--all awesome benefits! Notably, I love that you're finding the frequency of check-ins to be beneficial in the end.

Best,
Mike Siemasz

No outlook integration and automatic scheduling of regular meeting

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Test it for a period of 3 months - give a good instruction to the staff manager

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Do better staff management, bind the people to the company and bring the churn rate down. The benefits are not totally visible, because we are using the system since 6 months - due to corona with a special situation. But we are sure it will be visible after 12 months

  ### 16. Wonderful, organized, platform!

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I like how you can just list all your tasks, which help with organization and also let your boss know what you are working on.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Maybe adding a high to low priority option for the tasks, to be able to manage time a little better.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

The high five feature! It is such a great way to let my team members know that I appreciate them.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

The objective feature can be a little confusing sometimes. Sometimes I think I have created my own objective, but when I map it to a parent, it becomes difficult to obtain later down the road.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

KPI tracking has been a growing part of our company. This puts the tracking of KPIs back in my own hands, helping me have ownership.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2020

I think the question sets across the product are great - they constantly challenge me to think about my performance, support I need and how to improve. I really love the peer review functionality.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I dislike the new navigation. Why is there a 'features' section? This feels like internal speak and isn't friendly for the user.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I really like how 15Five allows for our internal reviews and weekly check-ins to be available digitally, in a much better way than the 'end-of-the-week review meetings' we used to have. Using a tool like 15Five allows me to have a clear report to share with my team and receive direct feedback from my manager

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Some of the features aren't always all clear (like High Fives), and the Slack integration could be improved...

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HR-topics
Performance Reviews
Weekly reports
Internal feedback/praise (employee engagement

  ### 22. Good intention, but eventually became formality in my company

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

The best part I think 15five has is that it gives us a way to express our feeling and make comments about a certain range of things.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

There are 2 things that I don't like about 15five.

1. The reviewers are your supervisor and his boss and the boss of his boss...etc. You know they gave you salary and in reality it is not possible that you agree with them for everything. As a result, a lot of people started writing meaningless comments like 'fine, good, okay' and even '.......' for an answer. I means when you are not okay with the way how business should run or how your boss treats you, talking to a 3rd party who would tend to this issue later may help, talking to your boss about it, that just get your fired or demoted. Some ass-kissers began his way of ass-kissing on 15five. What's the point then?

2. It is about the questions that our admin set up. Question like 'How many times you had lunch or enjoyed coffee with your teammates?". Management likes to see big number, then everyone starts putting 10, 20, 30...and the ones who works really well with all teammates may say 'huh.. 3?" I mean does the answer matter?

Question like "Did you feel like you had a productive week? What would you do to make next week more productive?" There is a logic trap in this. If you admit there is something that you could do next week to make it more productive, then how come you didn't apply that methodology this week? Are you trying to be lazy? If you say "I am fine this week, very productive, I couldn't think of a way to become more productive", your supervisor would just reply "You are not perfect, there is always room to be better." Life is just so hard...

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

It would be better to train the admin on what questions to ask. Take this question for example, "How do you feel about your supervisor?" Every time we see this, I bet everyone just put "good/very good" as an answer. Remember to reviewer is your supervisor.

Also, it makes more sense that a third party collects the answers, analyze them and work with the management. Not every time it is the employee's fault. Management is human too.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it doesn't solve problem... it is more like a homework you will have to finish every week just to get your KPI (Yes, my company put competing 15five a KPI). If I need to solve any problems, I would have done it fast and nicely face to face already.

**Official Response from Mike Siemasz:**

> Hi there,

Thanks so much for taking the time to share this important feedback with us. I completely understand your frustrations. Please know that we've designed our platform to help employees be their best-selves in and out of work, not make things harder. In fact, 15Five is a great platform in which to share this feedback with your manager in a kind but also honest and transparent way. Please let me know if you'd like to discuss this further with me or someone else on our team. I'm happy to help in any way I can.

Best,
Mike Siemasz

  ### 23. Extremely helpful software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel G. | Education and Community Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

My favorite thing about 15Five is the simple question it asks in your weekly reflection: "How did you feel this week?" You give yourself a score from 1 to 5. I have found this to be so much more powerful than my manager asking me how I'm feeling. The number makes it more objective and putting it in writing is less nerve-racking than saying it out loud.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

The Priorities section is a little annoying because I already track tasks elsewhere. I don't need to list priorities on 15Five, but they are a required field for my company.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

If you don't currently have any performance management software, I highly recommend using 15Five.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm voicing more feedback and seeing faster improvements to my role and even our organization. My one-on-ones with my manager are more productive. I've spent the past six months saying the same things over and over again, but writing them down has given them so much more weight and I feel I've been able to affect real change with the help of this tool.

**Official Response from Mike Siemasz:**

> Hi, Rachel,

Thanks for sharing your favorite thing about 15Five! Those are great points on why Pulse scores are so effective. And it's amazing to hear how impactful the software has been for you in terms of helping you have more of a voice.

I appreciate your feedback on Priorities and understand where you're coming from. The nice thing about Priorities is they create transparency. You may also be able to get more value out of this feature by linking Priorities to your Objectives, if your organization is using Objectives.

Let me know if you'd like to discuss this further to ensure you're getting the most out of 15Five.

Best,
Mike Siemasz

the fact that you do not have to spend an eternity on the performance reviews and that it becomes a continuous tool.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Quick and easy to use. Versatile.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Priorities, efficient 1-2-1 catchups

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

The site is laid out greatly and encourages engagement in all aspects of the job.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

15Fives are done on a biweekly basis which I feel is a bit too often. Once a month would suffice.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There aren't necessarily any problems that it's solving but it sure does help keep goals and suggestions about the position organized and easy to follow.

  ### 29. Huge morale booster

I love that this is a simple way to organize goals for my week. Also love being able to recognize team members' efforts with high 5's.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

There's nothing I particularly dislike. It's very simple to use.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

This is a great way to check in with team members weekly.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel connected to teammates when a lot of us are remote, and it makes me more mindful of accomplishments throughout my week.

  ### 30. 15Five Performance Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Belinda B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

What I find helpful is being able to focus on myself, my team and the company through 15Five. I can stay on target in a fast paced work environment and still hit goals. Communication is very easy to review from my manager and others.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

At this time, I don't see anything that I dislike. All of the features are available to be be customized to my preferences.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Provide a link to any user to view or read would be helpful.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The percentage to meeting your goals within a timeline is great! There are questions that I have for my manager that he responds to quickly and talking points that may only be for one week and it is handled online.

  ### 31. 15Five gets a HighFive!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I like that 15Five allows me to track my own progress. I can reflect on what I worked on that week and specify any challenges or wins I had. Listing my wins - it's a great thing to know the little things that can make your week positive. It also gives me an opportunity to uplift my coworkers.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I don't like my score when I don't fill it out on time! Otherwise I think it's a fairly simple form to fill out and not too draining.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

For this question: "Do you or your company/organization implement, resell, or consult on behalf of 15Five Continuous Performance Management or the company that makes it?" I answered "NO" but actually I am not sure but I think I had to answer something. Otherwise continue what you are doing!

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No real problems honestly. I like that I can recap what I worked on that week, what challenges I faced, and allows me to really think how I am being productive at work. It gives me an opportunity to give feedback to my director as well.

  ### 32. Great for communicating with my superiors!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabrielle S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

The fact that I can submit a question or a talking point for a 1 on 1 and nobody can see it except my reviewers.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

It can be redundant. I answer the same questions every week.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication on high priority problems is simpler.

  ### 33. continuous record of periodical progress

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kritik B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

record of what was done and supplementary questions for completeness

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

nothing as of now and looking forward to none

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

tracking and acknowledging the progress

  ### 34. While office gossips are to earshots, professional tête-à-tête is the long and the short!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aparajit K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

The best part is that it bridges the hierarchical drift, something quite common in the corporate world. Even if you hold an inferior position, you don't feel left out or undermined to share your thoughts; and rest assured that it is vented fittingly!

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

The frequency of questions being repeated is higher when this tool is used on a regular weekly basis. Maybe we can devise questions that are not just centered around professional life but span the overall life of an employee, thus providing insight into the employee's expectations and understanding more about the work-life balance.
While the reviews are helpful, it does not promote the use of it on a regular basis. Maybe rewards and recognitions might provoke the employees to be regular as well as bestow a sense of healthy competition between peers.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

It is a great tool to turn resources into assets by merely empowering the freedom of expression, asking the right questions and catering to legitimate demands!

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

First and foremost, this has acted as a great feedback platform for me - someone who holds a humble rank, yet never feels left out to analyze my efforts based on the feedback.
Secondly, the above holds good vice versa too - if I am bothered by a certain action of the organization, I can reverberate my thoughts without being vexatious of it turning into an unwanted office gossip!
It helps align our professional priorities on a weekly basis.
Imparts the sense of being cared for when asked about the feeling that lasted through the week.
Improves conscientiousness.

**Official Response from Mike Siemasz:**

> Hi, Aparajit,

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a very thorough review of 15Five. It's great to hear you feel empowered at your organization, regardless of rank, with the help of our product. I also appreciate your feedback regarding questions and how we might promote more engagement with reviews.

Thanks again!

Best,
Mike Siemasz

  ### 35. Great Accountability!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corrine H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

The accountability that the platform provides to myself and my team.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

That I have to manually adjust the percentages on my goals/ OKRs

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Use it consistently! The more consistent you are, the better your results are to track! I notice that when I use it every week, my score also increases! It's super motivational!

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me keep on track and not forget my goals. It helps break large tasks into smaller steps.
I am able to add in daily and weekly tasks so that I don't forget any work that I need to do that week. I'm also able to let others know how their accomplishments helped me or made the team better by giving them "high-fives". It's such a confidence booster! It's also really great to receive one from someone else, and know that you helped make their job, or their day just a little better! It really promotes team work!

  ### 36. Great approach to management; Solid tool; Easy to adopt.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

15five has a definitive focus on helping employees and managers do what they do at the top of their game. The approach is multi-faceted, having tools for managing OKRs, 1:1, 15fives (manager-employee check-ins) and performance reviews. It enables constant and productive communication and leads to accurate and easy performance management as the cycle surfaces.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Nothing of note. The system is robust. UX has been improved. Navigation is good but continues to get better.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping managers engage in setting ORK's and managing to "SMART" goals throughout the year and increasing the engagement and documenting goals and outcomes. Managers (and humans more generally) want others to succeed but are reluctant to set specific goals. 15five empowers managers and their reports alike to drive and meet specific measurable goals.

  ### 37. 15Five enables communication and collaboration as well as visibility throughout the team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

My favorite part of the 15Five is the "1:1 Talking Points". Being a 'list maker', this REALLY helps me be able to jot down a 'talking point' when it comes to my head and to continue to build on that list up until my scheduled 1:1. I also like that I'm notified (and my Manager is notified) when edits are made so we don't 'duplicate' talking points (which has the potential to happen a LOT!). One of the really cool aspects of the "1:1 Talking Points" is that it has an area for notes, to recap the 1:1 and a section for 'action items'. During the 1:1, the talking points that have been covered and the action items that have been completed can be 'checked' off the list. Anything that ISN'T checked carries forward to the next 1:1.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I'm not a whiz (yet) at sorting, adding, updating info using the "Objectives" tab. I'm getting there but it's still a work in progress and, at times, can be really confusing.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

I think it is awesome that the reviews are done on a QUARTERLY basis vs ANNUALLY. This helps to recalibrate goals each quarter based on the business initiatives vs setting goals for an entire year ahead without knowing how the business need, direction, etc. might change during that time.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Again, I think the "1:1 Talking Points" is a GREAT way to identify issues, discuss the issue, assign action items regarding the issue and then recapping the issue upon resolution.

  ### 38. Have implement 3 times and the results are AMAZING

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

The ability to create questions and tailor to specific needs is very easy.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I don't like that to get SSO I have to jump to a much more expensive plan.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to manage a remote team in India from the US and stay connected.

  ### 39. I am able to bring the objectives for the next fiscal quarter in a well organised list.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dionysios D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

The 1-1 meetings and reviews can be customised to the needs of an organisation or individual.
Specific objectives can be shared to the team or the organisation or specific individuals, which has the effect to show your work to the people needed.
People tend to lose focus and require to go back to re-align to their objectives. 15 five is a great platform and tool to go back to the objectives and have another look, which essentially gives you the opportunity to save time and focus to get better results.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

It requires some time to adjust and learn the new features, but once getting used to it, it becomes your best friend.
Give a 15-five feature is great, provides morale to the team members, but I think there should be more ways of hiding the amount of 15-fives collected by individual. The figures can lead to comparison between team members and some that are not as popular might lose morale. In my opinion, this needs to be customised per team and been left to the manager discretion.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Great tool for objective management in circles, which provides insights to management and HR team.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to boost my performance as sometimes we all lose focus and require to go back to re-align to our objectives.
The results are discussed with managers, so it is the tool to go, when something needs to be discussed around a project quickly and efficiently. This ends up improving the communication between individual and management.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

self-assessment and to understand my capabilities

  ### 41. 15five allows me to track my growth in my work while sending my supervisors a detailed report.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

I like how I get a reminder through email to fill out my 15five and that all of my reports are kept in one place.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I don’t know if any downsides to using 15 five

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Use it!

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our supervisors are using 15five to stay aware of how we are doing spiritually and emotionally in order to improve staff care.

  ### 42. Great tool to highlight main insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edgar M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

It has a good structure, letting you interact with each member of your team, specially in a vertical way with you manager or other superior.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

that it has to be mandatory weekly in my company.

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

None by now

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

better communication

  ### 43. Weekly Thought Tracker

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

Simple format, ease of use, making it a great tool to keep all in the loop.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Sometimes forcing challenges to be completed even when you are doing alright.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps me in a routine and allows my thoughts to easily translate to paper.

  ### 44. Excellent business tool for real time and ongoing performance management and enhancement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** jeff m. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

Excellent tool that works, is insightful and continuous, makes you think, you get instant feedback from your manager and it accumulates over time

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

some of the coaching/guiding questions are a bit pedantic, you should be able to pull down questions on a personal basis that you want to answer, rather than some of the enforced questions.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ongoing understanding and checkins, continuous communication between employee-manager, along with accumulated information/story for reviews

  ### 45. Excellent tool for employee engagement and coaching

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michele R. | Director of Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2019

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

As a manager, I love this tool for keeping track of meeting notes, goals and objectives, action items, 1:1 agendas, priorities and keeping a pulse on the overall performance and employee satisfaction of my team. The best part is the transparency and open lines of communication that 15Five enables. Before 15Five, I kept notes in Google docs or in OneNote - nothing was well organized and sharing was inconsistent. 15Five provides a platform of accountability for managers and individual contributors in a consistent approach throughout the entire company.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Toggling back and forth between the 15Five pages and 1:1 pages is a little clunky. I wish everything was in 1 place for each employee.

In the 15Fives Priority List, I wish the priority would carry over to the next week if it's not checked off as complete. (Just like Talking Points and Action Items carry over in the 1:1 s.)

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Great tool for monitoring employee performance and satisfaction, and enabling transparency, open communication and accountability.

You can implement one feature at a time - start with the 15Fives, then implement 1:1s

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accountability - no excuses for "not knowing" if it's documented
Time management - prioritizing projects on a weekly basis
Transparency - open communication and shared notes

**Official Response from Mike Siemasz:**

> Hi, Michele.

Thank you for sharing your experience as a manager before and after using 15Five, as well as what we can do to improve the product for customers like you. This is all great feedback!

Thank you for being a customer and taking time out of your day to leave a review.

  ### 46. 15five review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

It's very clear full of features always have webinars, user friendly

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Nothing to mention for now. its really helpful

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. I keep connected with all employees
2. Employee engagement all the time
3. OKRs feature make all employees aligned with the company

  ### 47. I personally love the tool to keep myself organized and also have that trace-ability to my Manager

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priyanka S. | Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

The way I can set my priority, and all the fields included in my 15Five makes a lot sense

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

1. Should have different templates available
2. Able to create our own space to add more details to my work for my own use and not letting my Manager about it
3. Ability to move the priority up and down to have it in a sequence

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Best tool to use for larger team

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Organizing my work for the coming week
2. Giving that trace-ability to my Manager on what I'm working
3. Being able to address any concerns I or my manager may have

  ### 48. 15Five Facilitates Real-Time Communication (and Changes)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark R. | Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

Simple interface facilitates real-time communications with my reports, allowing small issues to be addressed before the grow larger.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Sometimes the questions asked can get repetitive and/or are not directly applicable to our work. However, this can be addressed by setting up specific questions for your organization.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Real-time feedback allows me to work with my reports on small "tweaks" that they (or the firm) need to do to continue growing in a positive direction. Previously, we would have infrequent conversations, which allowed things to get lost in the shuffle.

  ### 49. Helpful if using the objectives module

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

15Five is useful in terms of adding structure to a regular 1:1 employee review, but the objectives module - that enables you to create objectives and metrics-based KPIs AND align them with full-company objectives - makes it more useful than other products.

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

Initially, the objectives module wasn't enabled for our org, and we were left wondering how 15Five added value over Google Docs. That should be enabled every time.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having employees add their own objectives and KPIs and report on progress over the course of a quarter or a year is very useful, as it helps them take a level of accountability and formally track it in a shared tool.

  ### 50. A performance management tool that has everything you need

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikolaos C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2020

**What do you like best about 15Five?**

Direct Kudos (HighFives) for employees that do something good.
Review of next week (15Fives).
I also like that all people are using it in a regular basis
It is not a tool based on an end year assessment but it provides a continuous feedback and communication.
it introduces the OKR methodology and it is very trendy

**What do you dislike about 15Five?**

I do not have anything I dislike. It is easy to use and very helpful

**Recommendations to others considering 15Five:**

Easy to use. Very effective giving feedback and stay aligned with company and departmental objectives. keeps the people engaged and making the people recognize the exceptional performance.

**What problems is 15Five solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Continuous employee feedback that it was lost due to day to day tasks. Now we set-up 1-1s on a regular basis (twice a month)
Everyone stays aligned with the departmental and company targets through set-up of OKRs and also personal targets
Monitor OKRs on a regular basis, see in which we need to pay more attention (actually we review them twice a month)
Re-establish employee recognition and also enable employees to recognize exceptional performance to each other. This is a very trendy part of the tool which is widely used by all of my colleagues
Self assessments and and end year reviews are now being done in a proper way

**Official Response from Mike Siemasz:**

> Hi Nikolaos,

Thanks for your review of 15Five. It sounds like the product has really helped your organization align better on objectives and improve communication!

Best,
Mike Siemasz
