**What do you like best about Zoho Assist?**

Step by step instructions provided for the customer end module software. Convenient for customer to understand the instructions and clear display to customer about who is trying to access the device with company name and person name. Builds trust for the customer. Hence, denial rate has greatly reduced. Mobile and desktop both. The  Zoho assist universal add on for customer end was a pleasant surprise. The integrations with other softwares are comprehensive. There is no lag or latency and the interface is instantaneous. Being included as a part of the Zoho One suit is a great boon as there is no additional cost to the company being a part of the Zoho One suite. The software is intelligent and the reporting featiures make it beneficial.

It is all good and excellently designed. No complaints.

Zoho Assist is helping us troubleshoot our customer's mobile and desktop/laptop devices saving time for the technician to travel for any software issues.

**What do you like best about Zoho Assist?**

We used to use another product, and there was no integration between it and Zoho Deks, so it made sense for me to pilot Zoho Assist. To be honest, I could not wait until the other product licence expires so I can sign up with Zoho Assist. It is so easy to support a user from the helpdesk directly without having to open another system, etc...

**What do you dislike about Zoho Assist?**

I really think customising the grid would be very useful. We use the unattended function, and customising the grid is essential. For example, there is no location field, and if you want to use the note field, it is not available to be added into the grid

**What problems is Zoho Assist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The speed of access to the user's PC / Laptop is brilliant. Also, the tools included are Command Prompt, PowerShell commands, and the Event Viewer, too many to mention, which are very useful to diagnose and help the user, especially the remote users.

**What do you like best about Zoho Assist?**

One of the most reliable and consistent remote login apps I've ever used. The unattended access feature has saved me when in a pinch multiple times, in the speed and efficiency of bouncing between multiple devices or needing to access a device in another location.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Assist?**

Zoho seems to have so many different apps and systems, I sometimes struggle in being redirected to other logins or finding the right place to get to my unattended access panel, but it's rare and not a major issue.

**What problems is Zoho Assist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main issue Zoho Assist is solving is allowing me to access systems that are in multiple locations around our business, and more importantly, on a variety of operating systems. I work primarily on a Mac, and being able to access a Windows device FROM my Mac has been a gamechanger. Rather than having to install those terrible dual OS systems, I can just remote in and get done what I need.

**What do you like best about Zoho Assist?**

Zoho Assist does exactly what I need it to do. I mainly use the Unattended Access service, and the interface couldn’t be easier to use. I also like that I can add notes in the computer name section, which helps me remember which computers belong to whom.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Assist?**

The only downside I’ve found with Zoho Assist Unattended Access is that I can’t join a PC if it’s powered down, but that’s just the nature of the beast. Other services are the same. They also have a lot of add on services, so much so I have not been able to take a look at them all yet, which is a good thing but can easily forget where to navigate to complete tasks.

**What problems is Zoho Assist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves me a lot of time. I work at two schools, and being able to log in remotely keeps me from having to drive back and forth between different buildings. It’s also helpful to be able to see who is logged in to which station at any given time.

**What do you like best about Zoho Assist?**

It's simple and organized: the attendance invitation is sent by email to the user and they just need to log in. Apply the permissions immediately and take control of the machine with limited privileges, without being invasive.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Assist?**

We are still in the testing phase, but compared to AnyDesk, the connection times and the simplicity of connecting are unsurpassably better. Compared to TeamViewer, the smoothness is only matched by the paid version.

**What problems is Zoho Assist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had the paid version of TeamViewer, and due to their billing issues, a misunderstanding occurred. Finally, we are no longer their clients and were evaluating new tools. Upon remembering that we have Zoho Mail and Zoho Workplace, we did some research and saw that this fully meets our basic user support needs: one technician and fewer than 60 workstations. 100% recommended.

**What do you like best about Zoho Assist?**

Zoho Assist is very easy to use and quick to deploy when supporting users remotely. I like that I can start a session quickly without requiring complex installation on the user’s side, which is helpful when assisting non-technical users. The interface is straightforward and reliable, and it allows me to troubleshoot issues, run commands, and guide users through problems in real time. It’s also convenient that everything runs securely through the browser, which makes remote support efficient.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Assist?**

Overall it works very well, but sometimes the connection can feel slightly slower compared to some other remote support tools, especially when working on devices with lower bandwidth. The interface could also be a bit more streamlined in certain areas, such as navigating between sessions or accessing advanced tools. However, these are relatively minor issues and don’t affect the overall usability much.

Zoho Assist allows me to provide remote IT support to users without needing to be physically present. This saves a lot of time when troubleshooting issues such as software configuration, system errors, or user guidance. It also helps resolve problems much faster because I can directly access the user’s screen instead of trying to guide them step by step over the phone. Overall it improves response times and makes support more efficient.

The ability for my customers to easily download the unattended client and for me to quickly and without effort connect to them, diagnose the problem, and allow them to get on with their work with minimum fuss. The client footprint is small and is easy for the end user to understand.

The integration bar on the side sometimes doesn't work as it should, requiring me to readjust the screens to get the options to appear correctly.

I used Zoho Assist for several years while working at two different Managed Service Providers, mainly as a one-time remote support tool. I really enjoyed it, and I found it very easy to use. When I started my own business, I went straight back to Zoho Assist. It was simple to add the remote support integration to my website, and I can direct clients to that page whenever they need remote support. For the price, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a one-time remote support tool.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Assist?**

Honestly, I haven’t found any downsides to using Zoho Assist so far. It’s been a smooth experience for me, and I haven’t run into any issues worth mentioning.

**What problems is Zoho Assist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Zoho Assist as an on-demand, one-time remote support tool when a client needs help. I typically don’t use the unattended access feature, although I have used it in the past. Overall, it’s a secure way to remotely access a client’s computer so I can troubleshoot and resolve issues without having to go onsite.

I’ve also used it personally—for example, to help my brother transfer data from his old laptop to his new one, even though he lives several states away. For the price and the ease of use, I really enjoy using Zoho Assist.

I really like Zoho Assist because it's a reliable product that we've been using for ten years without any issues. The customer service is great, and their chat feature is wonderful. The people who handle the chat at Zoho Assist are always very helpful and resolve any connectivity or download issues we've had. The initial setup is very easy; it's just a matter of sending a link that the employee downloads, making remote access straightforward. I also appreciate that the screen change is obvious, ensuring employees know when we're accessing their computers. It's nice to have clarity without any sneaky access vibes.

We have been using the product for ten years and cannot think of anything we dislike.

I consider the tool extremely efficient and practical for remote support and distance training. What I dislike about Zoho Assist is that while it works well for basic remote support, it can feel limited and inconsistent in more demanding scenarios. One common issue is performance. Zoho Assist uses a unique, home-grown backend that consistently works even when other platforms and products fail.  There is a substantial sub-system that maintains connectivity and provides ease-of-access to customers.  We use Zoho Assist as an emergency support tool and as a redundant remote access tool for vital business systems.  It further integrates with all of our custom operations systems with a clean UX.  We regularly use AI with it to update information and reach out to customers.  For the price it is the best value to performance proposition on the market.  When seeking support there is no better team than the Zoho Team.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Assist?**

From time to time we find that certain integration paths are dead-ends and some opportunities for optimizations seem to function poorly or not at all.  Often in these times the Zoho Support team provides alternative paths that work quite well.

**What problems is Zoho Assist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this with our end user customers as emergency remote access and with our critical business systems that require redundant remote access.

Technicians can quickly start sessions, reboot remote machines, and manage multiple devices without a steep learning curve. Performance is generally smooth.

Remote control sessions from a mobile phone works well, however it was hard to move a window to the second screen using just your fingers and  a small phone. Best to have the user on the other end do that and talk them through the steps.

From a technical standpoint, it offers solid features and delivers decent speed once the session is established. Starting sessions is simple, and sending invites is straightforward. The pricing also feels affordable. I especially like being able to see whether the end user has opened the invite and begun downloading the agent.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Assist?**

The video quality could be better. I also can’t find my chat after the session has ended. While sending invites is straightforward, less tech-savvy users can get confused by the number of instructions, which can delay the connection. The price for additional technicians should be lower, since that would encourage bringing more staff onboard instead of having to pick and choose.

Cloud-based remote assistance that includes useful IT features and is easy to deploy. I also like being able to keep track of previous sessions.

I like that Zoho Assist is easy to access via a web browser, which makes it really convenient. It's pretty seamless once a technician accepts their invite as it's just a matter of ensuring the client tool is on the machine; there's not much more to it. Zoho Assist allows our employees to work from home and, as a result, increase productivity. It replaced our old VPN system and gave us back the needed functionality.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Assist?**

The biggest area for improvement would be making things run faster. It's kind of sluggish. Maybe it's because it's running over a web browser, but the experience doesn't totally emulate the response you would have in the office.

The ease of use. It always works. Support is prompt and efficient. Unattended remote access is a blessing when you are trying to support someone (Mom) that has a hard time understanding what you are saying.

Not a thing. It always works when I need it to.

Somehow I became my Moms IT guy and then my friends It guy. Both are well in their years and are stubborn. They always insist that what you are describing to them is not on the screen. The unattended access allows me to prove them wrong :-) and allows me to keep more of my hair... I don't need to support them to often but its nice to know that there is a free software out there that allows me to support a couple of people without having to buy licenses.

**What do you like best about Zoho Assist?**

I like being able to run the command prompt on my local device while it's executing on my remote device. The data analytics is especially useful because it gives me insights into each device that I access, providing live analytics about what's going on with the device. I also appreciate being able to open device manager and see the details usually available from a control panel, as it is very helpful. Additionally, organizing and grouping my team devices separately from customer devices is a huge plus. Zoho Assist also helps my team work together with the technicians by easily adding remote or unattended access devices, and that functionality is very helpful. I find it a really easy way to access it from any point, anywhere, at any time. Setting it up was quite easy, even with some custom additions I wanted to incorporate.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Assist?**

Zoho Assist, like any other remote platform, can be a bit laggy, and I do have to sometimes shut down my stuff. The full screen sometimes isn't working, and then the tabs on the left don't go away sometimes.

I use Zoho Assist for remote support and managing unattended devices. It gives live analytics and easy access anytime. It helps me execute tasks remotely, simplifies my workflow, organizes device groupings effectively, and saves time by running command prompts locally.

It is useful for us while taking the remote access of the system. We can connect to a user's system by just sending a link, which makes it easier for us to check and fix the issues. It helps us in fixing issues quickly without a complicated setup.

One thing which I disliked is that Assist has limitations when working on a Linux Systems using Wayland. Occasionally during a session , the connection gets disconneted which can interrupt the work.

Zoho Assist helps me provide remote support and resolve user issues. I can quickly connect to their system and fix issues directly. The Unattended access feature helped me to connect to a system even when the user is not available., so I can handle updates, checks and routine fixes more efficiently.

The installation process. Most of the people that require remote assistance rarely have the technological know how to install and run apps. It would be so much easier if they could just have one click acknowledgements and approvals without having to install anything.

Sometimes a Client needs assistance/training do something that I cannot do on their behalf. This allows them to do it themselves while being walked through the process, remotely. Otherwise they would need another person with the skills they lack to be physically present with them.

Everything is great. Even the price. I wish more people knew about this to help older/compromised people in their lives.

This might be an unusual application of Zoho Assist, but we use it to monitor and help my 91-year-old mother-in-law's computer 3,000 miles away. Even though she is pretty with it, she'd been almost scammed a few times via her iMac. I had used Zoho Assist for some remote work before, so I got it again. For several years now, whenever we do her bills with her, or some scumbag is trying to take advantage of her, we hop on and are able to help. It's given us such piece of mind. I've also used it when an elderly friend was getting scammed. I coordinated to get on his computer and got it all sorted out. The only thing is that we have to say to them every time that they shouldn't let anyone else access their computer the way that we do. My mother-in-law now knows to just call us any time anything is even a little fishy and we use Zoho assist to keep her computer and data safe. LOVE it. Between having cameras with speakers in her house and Zoho Assist, we are able to take care of her safety from the other coast.

As a small MSP currently testing Zoho Assist during a trial period, we’ve been impressed with the results so far. What stands out most is how easy it is to deploy and configure unattended access across client machines. The setup process has been straightforward, which is important for a small team like ours.

The remote session performance has been stable during our testing, and the interface is clean and intuitive for both technicians and end users. We also appreciate the browser-based option, which simplifies starting support sessions without adding unnecessary steps for clients.

I know that it's the working logic of it but if you're giving support for many "different" customers and make connections over 4-5 in a day, this process can test your patients after some time.

I need to access client computers on a daily basis.   Some clients need to be present when I access and other allow me unattended access.   Zoho Assist lets me do both.   I have used Assist for many years now, and while I have tried alternatives, I have never found anything that could match the features and ease of use.  In the few times that I have needed to request support,  I have always gotten a LIVE person, and they were able to quickly resolve the issue.

While licensing is very reasonable, managing the subscription can be a bit cumbersome at first.  There are 3 products with multiple levels.  However, once you have you choices set its it easy to adjust.

I access my client's computers for a variety on needs.  Install, Configure and updating applications.  Walk-through of application usage for clients. A minor use is to enable clients to access a desktop while remote.

And cost - for us, its the most cost effective solution.

Nothing! All the features are great. The tools and file sharing are amazing for remote management of employee computers.

Remote support has been completely changed for us, no more driving an hour to hit the power button, no more trips to a users office just clear cookies for them, I can complete the task from my office, and not lose time on what i was doing before.
